I’m quite particular about where I want to spend my birthday each year, and this by far has been my best choice yet! The immediate peace you feel being surrounded by nature and the constant relaxing sound of the streams flowing captivated me from the moment we arrived. Porter checked in that day to ensure we had everything we needed or if we had any questions which I always appreciate, but was not necessary as everything was exactly as described!! If we did have any questions, they were quickly answered within the cabin with the helpful notes left throughout. For being an off-grid experience, we had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our stay to the fullest. Locally, we very much enjoyed hiking Kaaterskill Falls which was a completely breathtaking experience and I cannot recommend enough. We also went fishing which was quiet, private, and so serene. I could honestly go on and on but what it really comes down to is this cabin and its surroundings are magical! 1000/10 experience!

Absolutely no complaints. The place was spotless and exactly as described. The cabin is cute and cozy while still being very practical. Olivia has clearly thought of everything to ensure a comfortable and easy stay. The house is secluded and very private, even when outside in the amazing hot tub. Great hikes with waterfalls that are with 15 minute drive. Perfect for a getaway from busy life!

A really relaxing couple of days in an area that we didn’t know. It’s a beautiful cabin with a lovely hot tub and comfortable beds. Lots of nice places to visit and a friendly general store a short drive away (thanks to Thomas for the info on that). The temperate dropped but the cabin stayed warm even without the main log fire. Clean kitchen and bathrooms, lots of useful things like tea coffee herbs and sauces. Would definitely recommend!

The Clove Cabin was a beautiful little getaway in the heart of the Catskills. The cabin was clean, well-furnished, and felt cozy. Our host was communicative and helpful. Plus, for a stay that had so many amenities, using each one was very clear and simple and check out was simple. The cabin is also close to many hikes and small towns. Highly recommend staying here for a little excursion to Upstate New York.

Wow! The pictures don’t even do this place justice. We couldn’t have had a more relaxing weekend. Amanda provided so many great recs for our trip and was so good at communicating leading up to the trip. Would definitely come back again in the summer!

Our stay was fantastic! The location is great with lots of land to explore. The house was rustic but had everything we needed. Note that there is no TV - this was actually a plus for us as it encouraged us to spend more time on other activities. The hot tub was clean and had a great view. Overall, it was a tranquil experience in a great location. I’d recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend away.

Returned to Umi's after having a perfect experience our first time there. Everything was just as we remembered. Complete silence, beautiful views of the mountains, and everything one would need to enjoy a weekend away. The Catskills Mountain House was just as it was described or better. This is still our favorite AIRBNB out of the dozens we've visited!

I think this may be our 5th time to the house. Come up from the city for fishing and it’s beyond the perfect spot. It’s truly a perfect spot for access to water and hiking. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

The farm was absolutely amazing!! So pretty and well kept. The ability to walk around and freely hangout with/feed the animals was wonderful and staff was extremely friendly.

Esme is a great host! Super responsive and friendly. The cottage is cute and cozy, as described. It's definitely a place to recommend!

Beautiful location...nice and quiet. 7 or 8 mins to woodstock. Decorated seemingly professionally. All the appointments (convennces) you could ask for.

This was easily my favorite Airbnb I’ve EVER stayed at!! The cabin was the relaxing, peaceful, and perfect weekend getaway that my husband and I needed. The cabin was quaint, charming, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have needed. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The property is absolutely gorgeous with the stream, trees, and mountain views. Thank you Jeff and Sharon, we will most definitely be back!!

The home had everything we needed and more with a wonderful layout for family/friends to gather/cook/hang out. Every room was well stocked from kitchen to bathrooms and even games, activities and accessories in the bedrooms for kids and adults. We only wished the weather was better for us to have enjoyed the outdoors more, but that gives us a good reason to come back!

Katie's place was the perfect cozy getaway! The space was exactly as described. We especially loved spending the evening by the fireplace—it made for such a relaxing experience! The surroundings were very nice and peaceful, where you could hear the creek bubbling away when walking in the neighborhood. Plus, the location was great—just a short drive to Phoenicia and some fantastic hiking spots. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet retreat!

My family and I had a lovely time at Jon’s cabin. The cabin is so cozy and secluded yet 5 minutes or less from the main strip in Woodstock. The cabin has everything you’ll need for your stay and is decorated with Jon’s Grandfather’s artwork which was really cool to see. We would definitely recommend staying at Jon’s cabin, we felt right at home and would 100% stay again when back in the area. Jon is a wonderful host. Thank you for having us!

Our stay was lovely, Alissa’s place had everything we were looking for. Remote but not too remote with beautiful views, quiet, clean and cozy. And Alissa was very responsive and easy to work with - we would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. Perfect Little Romantic Getaway Spot I stayed at Birch Creek House recently and honestly didn’t want to leave. It’s super cozy and tucked right next to a creek, so you’ve got that peaceful water sound going the whole time — total vibe. The place was really clean, had everything I needed, and felt super homey. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was stocked, and it was just a great space to relax. They even had board games and puzzles there for us! It’s quiet and private but still close enough to little towns and hiking spots if you want to explore a bit. Highly recommend Kaaterskills Falls! I do wish there was a curtain or some way to cover the big window in the living room — just for a little more privacy at night. And while I missed having a microwave to quickly reheat food, it kind of added to that “living in nature” vibe, having to warm things up the old-school way. Overall, it was a peaceful, refreshing stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Jack and Donna's cabin was exactly as described. We loved our stay, so peaceful and quiet. Their rustic cabin has everything that we needed to enjoy a quick get away, beautiful surroundings and a warm fire for the chilly nights. Even though the cabin is off-the-grid, the lights (both solar and gas) were more than enough to provide light to read a good book and play some board games. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. We very much look forward to returning to this lovely place and exploring more of the area!

This cabin is chic, cozy, and in a beautiful secluded location, such that you can take a dip in the hot tub listening only to birds. It's a true getaway treat. Highly recommend.

Un lugar espectacular para descansar, es tal como se ve en las fotos, tiene todo muy bien organizado, lo malo que solo fuimos por una noche, nos hubiese encantado hacer una parrillada y fogata en el patio, pero si encendimos la chimenea de la sala mientras disfrutamos de una película, cuando llegamos ya no había sol, así que al día siguiente madrugamos para explorar la casa y su alrededor. La ubicación de la cabaña está un poco lejos desde New York si solo vas por una noche como nosotros que vale la pena, lo recomiendo mucho. Muchas gracias

What a great space! My wife and I stayed two nights for a quick getaway and were not disappointed. The open floor plan on the main floor was as ideal for preparing and enjoying meals as it was for simply sitting and reading a book while reflecting out the large windows into the forest beyond. The skylit bedrooms invited in nature while keeping the snow and rain a safe distance away. The baseboard heat was sufficient to heat the space but the wood stove was a nice addition to create extra warmth and add to the rustic ambience. Not mentioned in the listing, but worth noting are two small waterfalls within a mile walk of the property. Both were worth an afternoon stroll down quiet country roads.
