Astrid and Stephen’s place in the marina was an absolute gem. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a friendly neighbour who so happened to be Stephen who showed us to our unit, and helped us check in. Though it rained for much of our visit, the views were still stunning—peaceful, calming, and a perfect escape. The home itself was pristine and full of charm, clearly cared for with thought and love. Every little detail made it feel like a true retreat. We flew in for my son’s hockey playoffs, and the location couldn’t have been better—an easy and scenic trip to and from the arena. In fact, we loved it so much that we added two extra nights to our stay instead of touring to Victoria. No regrets! The local touches were a highlight—morning walks for fresh sourdough bread from Grain, amazing local wines at nearby restaurants that we walked to for a few lunches, dinners and a stop for some delicious tubs of local ice cream that we stocked up on! Grateful.

Our stay was fantastic! Location was perfect with easy access to public transportation (a 2 min walk if that) bus exchange for direct route to downtown Victoria/Harbour. Saanich Commonwealth Community Centre with large pool, kiddy pool with slide, sauna, gym etc is 5 min walk! Great restaurants, groceries, & shopping all within walking distance or short bus ride! Kirsten is a wonderful host! Very responsive & helpful! Highly recommend a stay if you're looking for a great, convenient place to stay while in Victoria! 10/10! Thanks Kirsten for a wonderful stay!

A lovely place in a lovely neighbourhood. The place had everything we needed and more! The parking garage was really convenient - we especially appreciated that they had a luggage trolley to bring up our things. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by, going to the nearby beach accesses, walking into Sidney and over all just enjoying a relaxing holiday. Cindy and Justin were great hosts - we hope to be back soon!

I have stayed in AirBnBs all over the world, and this was the best-equipped, most “perfect” apartment I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. Everything was beautiful and new, with a terrific home manual. We were extremely comfortable, and the hosts were great at communicating. The kitchen was spacious and extraordinarily well provisioned. The bathroom even had a towel warmer! :)

We had a great weekend at Jonathan’s place. We felt very comfortable in the space and it is just as described. The view is even better than the photos! We loved the serene views, great balcony and well sized bedrooms. Very peaceful and quiet spot (though be aware the small Vesuvius -Crofton ferry terminal is very close by) with a short walk to a lovely little beach. Communication was excellent with great suggestions and info. We very much appreciated that the entire property is smoke free. Would definitely stay here again when on Saltspring!

My stay was simply enjoyable. I loved every bit of it. It's all you can ask for from a very cozy short stat. Plus the sea view is just amazing. Raylene was a very chilled host as well.

Our family and dog really enjoyed our stay at Susan’s house. It was a really nice neighborhood and super comfortable for all of us. The WiFi was fast for a few work calls. We would definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-located. The host was thoughtful and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. It was a great experience, and I’ll definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

While getting some work done on our own home, we needed a quick place to stay for a week with our two dogs that wasn't too expensive. Doug's house was a good economical choice. It had everything we needed, including a fenced front and back yard, was quiet, and convenient to a few amenities (easy walk to Miche Cafe & Bar & The Lighthouse Brewery) and close to Esquimalt High School (with its big grassy fields to get some frisbee in for our 4 footers). The photos showed us exactly what to expect - a sort of shabby chic - including some quirky things like a drumset & piano, old Hi-Fi gear (including a record player and an eclectic record collection), puzzle art and skateboards on the walls. A modernized bathroom with heated floors was a nice contrast too. Simple, easy, convenient, roomy, low cost, unfussy. In that context, high marks! Doug was nice to work with too :-)

this place is a sanctuary! i felt comfortable and had a very calm stay. jackie was such a good host! and her place shows her wonderful taste.

We enjoyed our stay at Kevin's place and would stay again. When we arrived we had a couple of questions about the suite and Kevin came right away to show us. The kitchen worked well for us, although I wish there had been some aluminum foil.

An amazing stay in Parksville. Unit was exactly what we needed as a west coast base. Kids enjoyed the access to the outdoor hot tub and bonus sand toys. Super quick walk to the beach (less than 5 minutes) and playground right out the door! Great place to stay with comfy beds and good kitchen set-up. Unit is close to everything including hiking trails in Rathtrevor Park, Black Goose Inn, French Press Coffee Roasters/Shop, close to drive up Island to other areas and only 2.5 hours to Tofino for a surf!

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. Incredible! This was truly the place to stay. Everything you need, comfortable and luxurious, location, easy communication start to finish. We are very happy with our stay.

A well-equipped and spacious suite in a great location just a couple of minutes south of the Parksville strip. The whole resort appears to be kept in excellent condition. Beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of cosy furniture in the dining and living area. As always, I brought a few cooking utensils from home, things that are often not supplied at b&b's. Didn't need any of them; the kitchen is efficiently laid out and very nicely equipped. Andrea's instructions were clear and helpful, and her polite requests for check-out procedures very reasonable. We were 3 adults and one 7-year old. We all had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful new apartment. Underground parking. Quiet. I would recommend it and stay there again.

We had a fantastic time in Christina’s place. The location was perfect and she had it set up nicely for my little family of three. Lots to do in the resort with access to the pool, gym and private beach. We’ll definitely be back again.

Highly recommend Roy’s place! The location was perfect and the view from the master bedroom of the water was amazing! The apartment was very spacious and clean and it had everything we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!
