Thank you Aman for an amazing stay over the holidays. The entire cottage was kept clean and well stocked with things to accommodate us over our week stay. Great lake front property with so many activities and close proximity to stores and restaurants. Aman was incredibly responsive and helpful, his guide book provided a clear and detailed explanation of all things related to the cottage which ultimately made our first day a breeze. Nothing but good things to say, we’ll be back in the summer.

James' place was perfect for our group! The house was beautiful, the beds were THE comfiest beds I've slept in a while. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area!

Great place, exceptionally equipped with everything we needed. Very clean, felt right at home. Convenient to everything we had planned on doing (golf vacation).

We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved staying here! It’s such a unique little cabin that allowed so much natural light with the coolest layout! We were looking for a little getaway from the city and Tanya and Peter’s place was the perfect location to be able to access in city amenities (grocery etc) yet far enough away that it felt calm - plus the balcony was perfect for watching sunset! They were extremely responsive hosts and dealt with any issues that arose, right away. We would love to go back sometime!

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

Farazdak was an amazing host, answering any and all questions. The inside of the cottage is beautiful and so spacious. The views are unbeatable and it's so quiet. The kids and adults had the best time using the toboggan hill. We would all recommend this place, pictures don't do it justice!!!

The place is filled with love of Pirabakaran, we can feel the efforts on all the items and supplies he provides to make our living experience way much easier and nicer. The house and space are nice and comfortable, recommended for having a relaxing lakefront cottage/house getaway with the people you love. amenities are good: kayak, floating, fire pit, huge lakefront backyard, bbq grill, pool table, darts, big living and dining area

Angie and David’s place is such a cozy spot! It’s easy to find and a private space. The hosts are very responsive in case you have any questions. The place is in a peaceful location and makes a perfect getaway spot. Would love to stay here again!

Very friendly and helpful host! The suite is more beautiful than the photos. I would highly recommend this host and her accommodations. Absolutely beautiful setting on the water. Lovely Town of Newcastle minutes away.

My wife and baby daughter spent a nice weekend here. The place is really nice with everything at you'll need for a stay. The view of the lake is really something to wake up to. We enjoyed most of our time on the private deck across the road. It's definitely a very good option for a relaxing weekend.

Calm, quiet condo, stayed during family day long weekend. Condo is brand new with all the facilities you need, and very clean. Located near the Falls.

Marie was an amazing host. She provides literally every necessity. The apartment is very nice, tidy and neat. I will definitely book with her again.

Kim's place is truly exceptional—a perfect sanctuary for relaxation and comfort. Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood, the property boasts beautifully appointed rooms with soft lighting, plush furnishings, and tasteful decor that evoke a warm, inviting atmosphere. I would absolutely choose to stay here again, as it truly feels like a home away from home!

Me and my friends stayed at Catchmore Resore and had a great time! we stayed in cottage #2 and had no complaints. We had a nice view of the water, took advantage of all the fun activities available, found the beds to be very comfortable and staff to be extremely friendly/helpful! only downfall to this cottage is that the shower head isn't adjustable...so the shorter guest found the shower hard to use. However there were other communal showers located on property so it wasn't the end of the world. overall we had a great time at this location and would recommend!

We loved our time here! Robert was responsive and answered all of our questions. Instructions were clear. The cottage was clean. There was enough space for 6 adults to feel comfortable and have enough space, and a number of gathering spots to play games, eat together, etc. We were particularly impressed and grateful for all of the amenities--they have it all! For activities: 2 kayaks and a canoe, various-sized life jackets, even 2 fishing rods! Lots of games inside. There were plenty of towels, toiletries, fragrance-free laundry detergent with the washer/dryer. The kitchen is well-stocked (plenty of dishes and cutlery, large mixing bowls, baking pans, pots/pans, oils, sauces, condiments, spices), and we cooked many large meals. The fire pit was great, and they even have bug spray! The park down the street has a new tennis/pickle ball/basketball court. Cons: you can definitely hear the trains and highway, but we expected this going in. Would still recommend this cottage!

We loved our stay at this cottage. It fit our family nicely between the two houses. We love the peaceful surroundings, enjoyed the roads with snow for cross-country and did snowshoeing through the forest. The extra side house was a bit cooler temperature wise (but that is because it was -12'C outside), and the main house is probably warmer since it has extra baseboard heating. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. We also loved the antiquish look to the place. Would stay again!

Our group of friends had an absolutely amazing time at Jess and Jay’s cottage. Not only was everything perfect, but it was one of those rare occasions where the actual experience surpassed even the beauty captured in the photos. The cottage was stunning, cozy, and far exceeded our expectations. It truly felt like a hidden gem in Ontario, offering one of the best cottage experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway that lives up to and goes beyond its promise!

Great cottage for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and was spotless. Rachel responded almost immediately to any questions we had. All around it was a great trip!

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !

This was our 3rd time at Sara & Matt's place, and needless to say we had a blast! It's the perfect spot for a fall getaway with all the changing colours. The cottage is super cozy and has so much authentic charm. The sauna was a totally highlight and it was super refreshing to hop in the lake after. We did some star gazing and even caught some of the Northern Lights one night. Other nights we spent enjoying the VHS and record collections at the cottage. Definitely recommend this place and we'll certainly be back!

We had the best summer before school starts , thanks to Henry’s cottage! There lots to do, campfire, kayak, boating etc. We love the jetty by the lake and we have coffee there every morning!!! The backyard is so spacious it has the playground that kids have plenty of stuff to do! The place is very quiet at night! We also love the bedrooms and it has no problems accomodating our family plus two more. We have a good experience here and Henry is very responsive on our concerns and questions! We will definitely come back !! Thanks!!!
