The place was absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The game table was so much fun and we enjoyed playing many Board games on it. The view on the drive to the cabin is beautiful.

The cottage was described without flaw and the pictures don’t do the location justice. Lance was always prompt and super helpful with his responses. Town and location were perfect for a quiet getaway for a long weekend and will be sure to go back. Only downside to the stay was prior to arriving and judging by the picture it looked like a secluded cottage upon arrival we realized it was several cottages with ample room for privacy between them.

Our stay at the lodge was fantastic! The home itself was large, well laid out, and well maintained. The only thing worth mentioning is I'm assuming the property is on a well, and the pump had a hard time keeping up if more than one water source was being used. Not a negative, as I completely understand, but something to be aware of. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Beautiful and clean cabin! Perfect spot to come back to and relax after our outdoor adventures of hiking in the area! Hot tub and outside surroundings are very nice! Very quiet and peaceful stay!

We decided to go to Mentone on a whim as we only live a couple of hours away. Booking was fast & easy even on the same day as check-in. We wanted a little getaway & this place was perfect for our needs. The area was beautiful, the place was very clean, & the hot tub was a great bonus that we thoroughly enjoyed. Will go again & recommend to friends!

Great place for our two families to spend a few days together. We especially enjoyed the beautiful living room, the lovely view, and the outdoor seating and fire pit. There were ample beds and bathrooms for our group of 7. Everything in the house, from the kitchen supplies to the light switches were clearly labeled. The house was also well located, just 15 minutes to beautiful waterfalls and hiking. Would stay again!

The Otter Box cabin was the perfect getaway! We were offered very early check-in to this immaculate cabin. We had absolutely everything we needed and some extras to include snacks and the best coffee. Sitting on the porch and watching the deer with a hot, fresh cup of coffee was a favorite. We were comfortable, and the setting is so peaceful. The host is friendly and very precise with directions. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer.

OMG! So adorable! We couldn't have had a better stay and wish it could have been longer. The cabin was perfect for our needs. Extremely, well stocked. You will have everything you need. Going forward, hosts need to step up their game because Kathy has set the bar. It's a really high bar!!!

This was one of our favorite AirBNB's that we've been too. The cabin was super clean. I think it's the first time we've never found bugs anywhere! There were no dusty corners. No cobwebs. Really clean! The kitchen and laundry area were super well organized and very well equipped. The screened porch was amazing. It was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the weather and the peaceful surroundings with a crackling fire in the huge fireplace. So relaxing. It was easy to get to without all the crazy switchbacks. The property (30 acres I think) was quiet and fun to explore. Saw several deer too. There is so much to do and see in this area of Georgia (and Alabama). If I could I would give the hosts and this property 10 stars.

This was a really amazing stay. We had a bunch of children with us and they really enjoyed the climbing wall and the games. This place felt very cozy and was beautiful. I loved how there was a significant amount of amenities included in this stay. I look forward to booking again in the future

Beautiful place! My boys loved the loft bed! Fishing was good! It was everything my son wanted in a place to stay for his birthday!!

This is our go to cozy cabin when visiting Fort Payne….my husband and I have stayed a couple of times and choose this cabin over all the other listings. Being pet friendly and having wide open spaces for our dogs to run and let energy out….the cabin is very clean and cozy! The bed is very comfortable and we love the decor too. We will be planning another trip soon and plan to book this cabin again.

Fantastic spot out in the quiet , however close enough to enjoy Fort Payne attraction’s & many trails near & far to hike through . Great little cabin with plenty space & Marty was very helpful & great communication.

I will recommend this getaway to my friends. Only positive things about this cabin/house. We had the best, relaxing time. I highly recommend!!!!! 🌻

Everything about Fern Cottage was great. It was exactly what we wanted, a relaxing and clean place to stay, but also close to the adventure of Little River Canyon, DeSoto, downtown Fort Payne, and downtown Mentone. Loved that there was a campfire area and the hot tub. Lance was great in communicating with us and overall we had a wonderful stay.

Emmye and seth were very accommodating…i mentioned i was proposing to my gf and i asked if they could set something up special for her for our arrival and they pulled through for me….much appreciated and forever grateful…cabin was super nice and equipped….we used the hot-tub every single day we were there….the view we couldn’t get enough of….just all around awesome stay…we will definitely be booking again Thank yall so much ❤️

Amazing cabin with an amazing location highly recommend

I had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The place was clean, well-equipped, and had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The location was perfect—peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it an ideal escape from the city. The cabin had everything I needed, from a comfortable bed to a fully stocked kitchen. The outdoor space was also a highlight, whether it was enjoying my morning coffee on the porch or relaxing by the fire pit in the evening.

This was an absolute great weekend getaway!! There was a little issue getting checked in as the doorcode had dead batteries, but hosts were very responsive and sent someone out asap to have that fixed for us, and then surprised us with a bottle of wine the next day as a further apology. 10/10 reccomend! So many beautiful hikes nearby and very good eats!

Two moms and two boys had a great time at Marty's cabin! We explored the grounds and climbed rocks and built a fire and all that fun stuff!
