My family of 30 and I spent a few days at this incredible home and it surpassed our expectations. It accommodates lots of people comfortably on the inside but the outside is the cherry on top. There is lots to do within the property, we enjoyed the kayaks, pool, and relaxing on the decks. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with everything you need, which was very helpful including lots of blankets that made us feel very cozy. I would definitely come back to this lake house again, it was magical!

This is a wonderful property. My family and I enjoyed the space and the hot tub! We grilled out and loved having a garage to enter through. Very clean and nice and extremely comfortable! Felt like home away from home ♥️

We had an AM❤️ZING stay at the Home of Cedar Bluff, LOWER Level of "Your Big Lake House." The pictures of the property do not do the home any justice. The design of the property ensures that all ages will have something to do. Viewing the lake by day and night while sitting on the spacious porch was absolutely refreshing. Destinie was an incredible host. Each day, she checked in with me through text to see if we needed anything. She even offered us a complimentary late checkout. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great area to get away with family or friends. Thank you, Dave and Destinie, for allowing us to enjoy the weekend in your beautiful home.

This is an absolutely amazing space for larger families or a big group of friends!!! These cabins sit on a gorgeous piece of land and the added touches of a fire pit, horse shoes, and corn hole boards make it an outdoorsman’s/woman’s dream! The inside looks as if an interior decorator came in and added all the little touches to make it even more beautiful and feels like a touch of home. Highly recommend because this is truly a GEM!!!!!

Mark's home was amazing! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for meals. The view of the lake from the deck was gorgeous. The house was very spacious and could easily host two families. It was an easy jumping off point to get to beautiful hikes at Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park, and we were just 10 minutes from Mentone. We enjoyed grilling on the deck, the wood burning hot tub, and having family game night after a long day of hiking. We look forward to coming back in the warmer months to take advantage of the kayaks!

Our large family of 11 adults plus 12 children all agreed that this was the best house we have ever rented. It accommodated us beautifully. The bunk room was a dream come true for all the cousins (children). The lot was great and had easy access to the lake. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped and the living space was wonderful and we never felt the least bit crowded. I don’t know how our stay could have been improved. Thanks so much!

This place was amazing! Spotless clean, very safe, easy to find, gorgeous views! The host was exceptional, they had left us everything we needed and they also had an additional list of supplies and tools you could request for free! They provided lots of games and activities like Kayaks. They had put together a book with all the information you'll need about the area including restaurants, hikes, parks, etc. we had an amazing time, it was peaceful and quiet! Just what we needed! The hosts were super responsive and very polite! We literally got a response in less than 10 minutes! I will 100% come back and have already recommended this place to all of our family and friends! Thank you so much for such an amazing Arbnb rental.

The cabin is a perfect getaway for couples. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the privacy and being able to just relax for the weekend.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home and enjoyed everything about it. My recommendation is if you want to see the waterfall, you have to be prepared to hike with hiking gear and it is not for children. But we enjoyed walking up and down the road, and looking at all of nature around the house and it is very peaceful and secluded away from other houses. We definitely will stay again if we return to Fort Payne.

Overall the trip was great. The cabin was perfect for our group and we had lots of room for everyone. Loved the amount of bathrooms too. Property and location is beautiful and we saw many deer and wildlife around. Clear skies allowed us to see many shooting stars while sitting at the campfire. One of the roads getting there took us up an extremely steep road (we’re from Florida) and that scared us pretty good but we managed to avoid that road the rest of the trip. 10/10 trip amazing stay so worth it. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and clean cabin! Perfect spot to come back to and relax after our outdoor adventures of hiking in the area! Hot tub and outside surroundings are very nice! Very quiet and peaceful stay!

We had to stay a night here in Fort Payne. We found this place last minute, which is far better than any hotel. Very grateful for the availability and how quick it was to check in after booking. Since we only stayed the night, I don’t know too much about what’s around the area, but it does look like there’s a lot of recreational things to do as well as State Park options. This place is located very conveniently in the midst of all that. The farmhouse is very beautiful inside like new feel. Beds were very comfortable, and as you see in the pictures, the bathrooms are spacious and very beautifully designed. TV in each room. TV that’s out in the main living area. All that we did not need this there was plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. The location is around 10 minutes, at most, of a drive from Fort Payne city. The hot tub is small, but I didn’t even expect to even get a hot tub with a place like this for the price. But you could squeeze in two people into the hot tub.

Great experience have already recommended it to 5 people who plan on visiting the area. What it might not say in description is you are actually in the middle of everything you could want to do up there while also being in a very private area. If you go in the winter the snow ski lodge is not even 5 minutes away, the famous wildflower cafe is nearby,in the other seasons DeSoto falls, the state park, and little river canyon are all just short drives away and are breathtaking. It doesn’t matter what time of year you go this will be a great spot. You can tell the people that run the place try really hard to make it a memorable experience. I don’t leave reviews this lengthy, but this is the one don’t bother to keep looking. 10 out of 10 hands down one of the best experiences we have had on vacation and we have been all over.

River’s Edge was just what we were looking for! The cabin was comfortable and the back porch was amazing, truly our favorite place to be for relaxing. Kingsley was friendly and quick in responding to any questions we had. We’ll definitely choose to stay here again.
