I booked this as a surprise for my family on spring break. My wife typically takes care of reservations and the hosts were extremely understanding and helpful throughout this process. My family was impressed with the amount of activities provided on-location and my wife was excited to see everything labeled and organized. The accommodations were spotless and every possible need provided for. We played board games and roasted marshmallows at night. Wood , fuel, and roasting sticks were complimentary and ready to go. The pool and hot tub were heated and within close walking distance of our cabin. We had the best time on kayaks, a paddle boat, and playing giant chess. We easily could have spent our entire vacation here, but chose to venture out to Little River Canyon, where our hosts gave wonderful tips on where to swim and eat. Thank you for providing an amazing, peaceful stay. We will definitely be back again!

We had an AM❤️ZING stay at the Home of Cedar Bluff, LOWER Level of "Your Big Lake House." The pictures of the property do not do the home any justice. The design of the property ensures that all ages will have something to do. Viewing the lake by day and night while sitting on the spacious porch was absolutely refreshing. Destinie was an incredible host. Each day, she checked in with me through text to see if we needed anything. She even offered us a complimentary late checkout. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great area to get away with family or friends. Thank you, Dave and Destinie, for allowing us to enjoy the weekend in your beautiful home.

This location was great for our large family gathering. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the multiple bathrooms so everyone had privacy. The TVs don’t have “smart” features to be able to log in to streaming services - so keep that in mind but we enjoyed doing puzzles and playing with the arcade games. Would definitely recommend this location for a family getaway.

House was great, views were amazing and a nice peaceful area

Great clean house, plenty of beds/baths. As an extra cherry on top, the host was extra-responsive to requests and communication needs. If you have a large group and are adventuring in/around Leesburg, I don't think there is better place to stay. We'll definitely look up Chestnut Bay again the next time we are in town.

Great stay with a beautiful view! The ceilings are very low in parts of the house, just a fair warning for taller guest. The host even left a gift and welcoming note!

Quiet and cozy. We just wanted a place to shower and sleep without paying a fortune. That’s what we got! We went to spend the days hiking, and it was fairly close to where we wanted to go. Restaurants weren’t far away. I’m a shower head person. I like one that will get the conditioner out of my hair in a reasonable amount of time-silly but true. There was only a window air conditioner in the bedroom, but it kept the place cool, and the bedroom cold-like we like it! I would recommend this cozy place for someone like us- a shower and a place to sleep. Two recliners to kick back and wind down too. Thanks for sharing your dads place with us.

We spent a wonderful two days in this unique, colorful, and inviting house. Everything we needed was provided for us, and there were lots of extras like a popcorn maker and juicer. The style was retro but very clean and updated. In under 15 minutes we could get to Little River Canyon in Citadel Boulders. A great place!

Man kan nye udsigten og den flotte solnedgang fra huset. Søen er dejlig. Man kan bade og fiske. Vi var enda heldige at låne deres private badebro og badedyr. Tak for jeres venlighed. Huset virker stører end på billederne. Dejligt rent og mange gode køkkenfaciliteter. Kan kun anbefale huset til andre. Meget skønt og roligt område med udsigt til bomuldsmarker.

My family and I had a great time in Fort Payne and surrounding areas. Janice’s home was absolutely perfect! It is close enough to town without having to drive a long time but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The house was spotless and the pictures are identical to where you’re at. VERY well stocked in all areas. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Enjoyed the property, and the amenities that’s came with it especially the jacuzzi, although I wish it wasn’t facing the road . Traffic doesn’t pass by often but would’ve liked if it was facing the house . The fire pit area was really nice , even though there wasn’t any firewood , there was plenty of random branches laying around to make our own. Overrall experience was a 10.

This was a last minute trip and we were limited on the places available. This turned out to be a perfect location. It is off the beaten path but close enough to the parks and beautiful scenery. The home had everything we needed. It was well equipped. We enjoyed using the fire pit and the grill. Orbix glass studio is right down the road and Little River Canyon is too. Fort Payne isn’t too far for shopping.

Wow! This house was just perfect for our group of 15! The house was clean, beautiful, and very spacious. The owners were super kind and responsive! The hammocks, porch swing, dock and fire pit allow for lots of outdoor activities. I highly recommend this beautiful house!

The house was bigger than we expected. The yard to the dock was an easy walk. Quite. Screened in porch was excellent! We had a great stay!

What a beautiful vacation spot! We celebrated our anniversary with friends and had a great time. The home had everything we needed and more. The path down to the dock was new and well planned and we spent time on the water. The huge porch a wonderful space to relax and unwind. The heaters were a pleasant surprise and took the chill off. The bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable. We hope to some back. Thanks for having us!

Great place to stay and very clean. It is kinda out in the middle of nowhere we felt like as far as a town to make a run to get something but we had mostly everything before getting there. We stayed for the event going on at Indian Mountain Atv Park which is about 35 min out so parking was a little tight for 3 trucks and trailers but owners were plenty helpful in letting us use the backyard as well. Overall no complaints.

My family of 6 has a great Labor Day weekend at this lake house. The boat launch was extremely close and we were able to enjoy fishing the whole time. Would definitely stay here again.

Our large family of 11 adults plus 12 children all agreed that this was the best house we have ever rented. It accommodated us beautifully. The bunk room was a dream come true for all the cousins (children). The lot was great and had easy access to the lake. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped and the living space was wonderful and we never felt the least bit crowded. I don’t know how our stay could have been improved. Thanks so much!

Our family has been to Lake Weiss for years. Everyone loved this house and the amenities😁 All requested that we return for next summer! Needed to call our host once and received an immediate response. Our stay couldn’t have been better!!!
