The house exceeded our expectations! Our family ranged in ages 3 to 87, and the layout of the house was perfect and offered something for everyone. The bedding was terrific and kitchen very well stocked and all the linens/towels we needed. There were wonderful Thanksgiving memories made here thank you for hosting your home for our holiday. I would highly recommend this home for a large group, just beautiful inside and out...

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

Overall this was a very nice lake house! Jessica was an amazing host, and the house and property were as described. Scenery is very beautiful. Kids loved the kayaks and canoe. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

Lorraine was very responsive when we booked an additional night stay. The house was large with plenty of space for us all to hang out together or relax alone in the spacious bedrooms. I ate breakfast on the back sunroom and could hear the birds chirping. We all enjoyed the massage chair which was an additional benefit that no other vacation home has had available. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. We used the BBQ grill which was in good condition and worked perfectly. The house was close to the Murphy River Walk which was beautiful and gave easy access to the shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this vacation home in the future.

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect – the location, view, and amenities exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly thoughtful, providing all the little things travelers often forget, and even left us some cookies! We truly appreciated all the attention to detail and felt right at home. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our week long stay I. Murphy! Marvin, our host and relative of Frank’s, was extremely responsive and helpful. I was a little nervous driving up the mountain to the cabin the first day we arrived but our Toyota Sienna handled it just fine and by day three it was no big deal. It’s winding, skinny, and steep but paved. The cabin views are absolutely unmatched and the location is amazing. Downtown Murphy is quaint and not overrun by tourists (we visited Ellijay, Bryson city, and Blue Ridge during our stay and Murphy was my favorite). The Cabin was clean and as described. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and I brought a lot from home but really didn’t need to- we cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and I found most everything I needed. I appreciated Marvin’s helpfulness when we couldn’t get the fire place to light on our super cold day (we did eventually get it!). Also cabin location was great for day trips to Bryson city, Ellijay etc. Highly recommend!!

This place was a GEM! The pictures do not do it justice. The views of the mountains are incredible! If you want a peaceful, quiet getaway I recommend Heavenly Vista. Harry was always responsive, polite and very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Joanie's cabin is everything she described it to be. It is a quick jaunt up the hill from the main highway, but within minutes you feel like you have left the hustle and bustle. The home is nestled in a bed of trees, blocking you from surrounding homes. When perched on the back porch and gazing at the gorgeously breathtaking landscape (literally our most favorite spot!)...you see nothing but rolling hills and valleys. So tranquil and inspiring. A sanctuary for the heart, mind and soul. Truly, if you are seeking a place to step away from the noise and recollect yourself, this is the haven for you. My husband and I, having both lost our mothers in the same year, needed a retreat where work, chores, and the noise of day-to-day needs and activities were a distant thought. This was perfect for our needs. And Joanie is so kind, considerate and responsive to her guests. We will definitely consider returning for another retreat!

This house is beautifully decorated and has gorgeous views from almost every window. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your coffee or wine with a view. Todd was quick to respond and provided helpful recommendations for places to eat in the area. We enjoyed hiking the jackrabbit trail, the beach, Bell Mountain, eating at Marina Station and Nocturnal Brewing. Our kids loved the ping pong table on the lower level. My husband and I appreciated the complimentary coffee bar! Thank you, Todd, for being a great host.

After searching for the perfect place for over a month, my wife found it and booked it 10 months in advance just to make sure we would get it. And let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. Everything about Crocket Mountain Cottage is exactly what you want, location, privacy, space, convenience and then the view… priceless. We even saw a family of deer in our yard as we cooked Christmas morning breakfast. Stephanie is amazing. She read every message we sent her within seconds and responded immediately every time. She’s very understanding, flexible and accommodating. We hope to be back next year!!

The cabin was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for clean and peaceful definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a big cabin in a nice location with good driveway and parking area for motorcycles

The house was clean. We loved the fireplace. Instructions were thorough and clear and included directions for local places. Just a warning to anyone who is traveling in winter, the driveway is super steep and hangs onto ice days after a snow. It would be impossible to get to in some vehicles with ice on the driveway.

Beautiful views! Stunning sunrises over the mountains from the welcoming & relaxing porch. Unbelievably gorgeous. Pretty sunsets visible from the gazebo & fire pit area. We appreciated the very comfortable bed. We were well-rested for all our vacation adventures.

It is a beautiful location and even bigger than expected. We had an issue come up and Audrey was quick to respond. I would stay again for sure!!

Nice small place perfect for a family looking for a mountain getaway. Located right on 129 with great access to Robbinsville and the Tail of the Dragon.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The space was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, quiet and very private. Sherry was very responsive and welcoming, providing clear instructions for check-in and check-out. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like extra towels and local recommendations. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!

The cabin was a nice place for a staycation. Plenty to do while on the ranch. Grill, games, cooking utensils,& spices. Pet friendly and very private. Bring groceries and fill up before you check in because it’s far away from town.

We loved our stay at Sky Harbour! The property has gorgeous views with so many extras that make for an even better trip. We enjoyed the hot tub, well stocked kitchen, cleanliness and attention to detail and the downstairs area with games and activities for our kids to do. We also loved that it was close to a quiet little town for necessities but also a short drive to many wonderful outdoor activities in adjacent communities and national parks. If you like front porch rocking, fires (indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit) on a cool mountain evening, beautiful sunsets, relaxation in the hot tub, cozy mountain house life with loved ones, nearby hiking/adventures, mountain views in every direction, the slower pace of small town living, this place had it all! We wanted more time. We will definitely be back!
