Isaac was a great host! He responded very quickly any time we had an issue and the location and home was perfect for our stay! Overall 10/10.

Good quiet place to stay near Harper’s Ferry. Place was clean, hot tub was nice we were able to watch deer next door and across the street hang out and graze. Everything was in place and clean. Beds were soft and comfortable. The only issue that I have is the rocks that line the driveway especially when turning out of the driveway will catch lower vehicles and cars it caused a little damage to my wife’s car and be careful where you park there is an oak tree with dead and rotting limbs that need to be trimmed that are right above the area where cars would park if you have more than one car. If I were to ever come back to Harper’s Ferry I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I had a great stay at this cute little home. Everything was extremely clean and decorated to feel luxurious. We really enjoyed being so close to the water/beaches, 15 minute drive to shopping and the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. We took full advantage of the hot tub and it was our absolute favorite amenity offered, but we really loved the screened in porch as well. We would definitely come back to this area and consider staying here again! My only notes would be to add a few more pavers around the hot tub to make getting in and out in your bare feet more comfortable, and maybe a larger shower head to make rinsing long hair out easier. Overall, this trip was exactly what we were looking for to have a quiet get away for our anniversary and this place made it easy to do so!

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. In addition to the inviting interior of the cottage itself, the property includes a well-maintained hot tub as well as a fire pit. There is also a pool, though it wasn’t open for the season during our stay. It may seem a minor detail, but the property has a covered patio with outdoor fans and a cafe table where we were able to enjoy morning coffee and a quiet start to our day. The cottage’s proximity to the winery (literally 30 seconds on foot) means that you head over for a tasting whenever the mood strikes you. To be able to enjoy a winery, relax in a hot tub, and wind down near a fire pit all in one location was a real treat. Andrea was both a proactive and responsive host. She provided everything we needed to know prior to arrival and communicated promptly while we were there. We would definitely visit again!

I can honestly say our host was the best we have ever experienced at Mountain Mama! He was beyond helpful and always reached out during our entire stay to see if we needed anything at all. He even allowed us to add an extra evening because we loved it so much we wanted to extend our trip! The cabin and surroundings are beautiful and so serene. We had more than enough room for our guests and the home had everything you could possibly need. I highly recommend Mountain Mama for your next trip, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was clean & had everything we could have needed for the week, even a few things we didn't think of ourselves. The hot tub was amazing. Highly recommend staying here! 💯

Very happy with my stay. The place was comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed the hot tub and the deer that would come out to see! Close to wineries and Harper's Ferry downtown. Peaceful and Cindy was a wonderful host and always responsive to my messages. Would definitely stay again.

Jennifer's cottage is great! It is quiet, peaceful, and private but still right in the middle of everything - a 30 second walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Would also be really convenient for folks visiting the Naval Academy or St Johns. We had a great time and will almost certainly be back.

Jacki was very friendly and responsive especially when we requested an earlier check in. The cottage was very nice and met our pet friendly needs. That is what drew us to this place and Jacki does a great job providing all that is needed to accommodate our dogs. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

A lovely charming dog friendly home. It was a short drive to beaches, shops and restaurants. Ellen and Michael are wonderful hosts. The dogs enjoyed resting on the back porch and playing in the fenced in yard. We could not have asked for a more comfortable place for our stay in Cape May. An absolute gem.

What a treat to relax for a few days at Chuck's charming cottage! The house is comfortable, clean and well-equipped. We were especially impressed with the well-stocked kitchen. Our pup appreciated the fenced yard, and we loved the pleasant landscaping. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable, with a small park full of gorgeous live oaks and easy beach access just a couple blocks away. There's also a small shopping center close by with a grocery store and several restaurants. Easy access to the interstate is also a plus. Chuck is a very responsive host, and we also enjoyed some goodies from his thoughtful snack basket. We've stayed in a lot of rentals over the past 20 years, and Chuck's house is among the top properties. Thanks so much!

We stayed one night and it was perfect for us. Everything we needed was provided and it was quiet too. The little town is adorable and the short 5 minute drive to the beach was well worth it. I imagine it would be even better in the summer months.

Secluded location, nice, quiet and peaceful. There is one house next door but didn’t see or hear anyone the entire time. The property is surrounded by woods and a large creek down below out the back. I have a real Service Dog, Malinois/Lab mix who is also off leash trained and I was able to let her enjoy being a dog for a while roaming the property and woods. The only negative is the lack of window coverings in the bedroom/bath room. To compensate we left the outside lights on at night which worked well to allay our fears. The house was very clean and all of the appliances are quite new and worked very well. The house heater is excellent, the shower has water pressure and hot water for days! The internet and TV worked extremely well and there is good cell phone signal. The road is gravel so a very low clearance sports car might have trouble so don’t bring your Corvette!! The house is less than 10 minutes to downtown Middleburg and has a small Safeway. All in all a great experience.

My family and I really had a wonderful stay. The house is very cute and only wish we could have stayed longer and tried out the fire pit. The beds were very comfortable. We hope to stay again.

Richard was friendly and helpful and quickly responded when a smoke detector started chirping. We loved the proximity to the beach even if it wasn’t quite the season and the yard was nice to hang out in. It’s close to a main road but the layout of the yard with the fence and natural beauty made the road a nonissue. The kids loved having games and puzzles and we appreciated magazines about Norfolk and the surrounding areas. The kitchen was well stocked for the light amount of eating we did in the house. We came for the historical sites but we would stay again for beach season!

Cottage has been maintained with care; it is not just clean; it’s meticulously clean. Quiet? it's on a road where a car passes every 20 minutes. Short trips for grocery shopping and coffee? Food Lion 7-8 minutes. Coffee shop 9 minutes at the Four Corners Shopping center. Off street parking? Gravel driveway into property. Security? A security light is on a pole. Laundry room with full size washer & dryer next to 50 gal water tank. 63 hangers in 3 closets, 23 drawers in the rooms. Convenient outlets for recharging iPhones. Tub & shower w/ wand. Sliding opaque glass door glides easily. Bath has outlet & small table with/drawer that keeps toiletries together. 9 extra thick fluffy towels + beach towels, three 28 oz. Shampoos. 16.5 cu ft reefer with cubed/crushed ice in door, 9 cu ft freezer with ice maker, microwave, Keurig pods + drip coffee, condiments, blender, toaster, spatulas, multiple channels and streaming options, books cleaning gear, laundry basket, iron, folding drying rack...

We had a great stay at the cottage. Very peaceful getaway. We loved biking around the island and learning about the history. The cottage was very clean and Janet was very kind and helpful. Recommend for a cute unique getaway!

My husband and I traveled here for a night away from our children and work responsibilities. We were looking for some place that was private and on the water. This place was both and it did not disappoint! The loft was cozy and spacious and we loved looking out the windows at the water and rain. It was very clean and there were plenty of towels and blankets and other special touches. Janelle communicated with us ahead of time to make sure she was ready for our arrival and she was kind and responsive throughout the process. We also found it easy to get into Easton for dinner at The Stewart, which was a treat, and then return back to the cabin. I would stay here again in a heartbeat -- but hopefully for longer next time.

Our stay at the Salt Box Cottage was wonderful! The house was adorable and everything we wanted and needed! The host was great to deal with and very responsive! We had a great time and would most definitely stay again!

Flawless from start to finish. I've stayed in dozens of high-end hotels across the country, and this little cottage was THE cleanest space I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Everything glistened like it was new. My family and I felt very much at home from the time we entered to the time we left. Top notch! Many thanks for a job well done and facilities that didn't disappoint.
