Great spot to relax, reset and recharge. The house had everything we needed to make our meals for the week. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end the day. We saw horses most days and were grateful for the beach chairs to use. Best vacation of my life-will be back.

We had a wonderful stay on John’s property. The house was as described, an older home, but we loved the quirkiness. It’s a peaceful area on the beach with beautiful scenery. We came during a snow storm. The snow on the beach was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while admiring the snow. John was quick to respond and very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be return guests.

Horses everywhere every day. We did walk to the beach a couple times but if you are going with kids or things to carry it’s really better to drive. The 4x4 area is really special. We saw dolphins every day too. It was too cold to swim in the ocean but the beach was still perfect. The house is wonderful! Very clean and comfy beds. It was nice that we had cleaning supplies, trash bags, paper towels, etc. We also took advantage of the beach chairs, toys, coolers and towels. It was really nice not to have to pack that stuff. We really had everything we needed there. It felt very at home. The only negative thing for us, which probably isn’t a negative for everyone else is that there was stuff everywhere in the house. We spent a good amount of time trying to convince our young girls that a lot of the decor was not toys. We just wanted to be respectful of her things so that left us a little on edge. But we really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back!

To say this house was a dream come true would be an understatement. From the moment we drove up the long driveway and laid eyes on the picturesque setting of the red house nestled in the woods, we fell in love. My 17-year old daughter walked in and said the pictures online did it no justice and she is exactly right. The house was immaculate, with every feature you could possibly imagine. The technology throughout was unbelievable. Google Home in EVERY room. TVs with surround sound. A game room that kept us busy for hours. A karaoke machine. It was a much needed getaway. Our dogs were in heaven with the acres of land to explore on walks. I have never felt so relaxed. I just can’t say enough. I love the city of Cape Charles but honestly did not want to leave this house. The host, Dave, was so great with communicating, even before we arrived. We will definitely plan another visit here! I would say the only downside was getting carpel tunnel trying to beat high scores in the arcade room. ?

We had an amazing time at the horse farm!! It was great to wake up in such a beautiful, peaceful place, which is still only a short drive from Williamsburg and Jamestown. Plus, you can see the (rescue!) horses grazing peacefully in the pastures. Not much more you can ask for from an Airbnb!

My husband and I spent a week at the beach cottage. The location is unbeatable, just steps to the beach. If you are not fond of the sand, you can sit in the porch and enjoy the view. You will not want to leave! The house was clean and exactly as pictured. Cecilio and his wife answered promptly all of my questions about places to eat and things to do. If you enjoy fishing, the Ocean View pier (longest in the State of Virginia) is just a half a mile walk from the house, or a short drive. You can rent fishing poles, buy bait, and feel like a local. You can also get some crab traps and get blue crabs. The pier has a restaurant with a nice view and a full bar. The beach right outside the house feels private. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good book. If you like water activities, the cottage has plenty of beach gear, including paddle boarding, and kayaks. We wanted to relax and reconnect, and this place was the perfect spot for us. Highly recommended.

Charming cottage at a family-owned, lovingly-crafted campground. It suited our needs perfectly. We traveled with our dog and all the other dogs on site were all on leashes and well-behaved. The staff was very helpful and we would definitely stay here again!

Marcy’s place was excellent! We usually stay at Sanderling properties in Duck but thought we would try Corolla as a change. The location, community, and the house with Marcy far exceeded what we expected and this is our new go to place. Awesome for dogs and kids. A great getaway!

Such a great location - just a short walk from the beach. Front porch is a great place in the mornings and evenings. The dining room and living room fit our group well and we squeezed in the bedrooms (4 couples + 6 kids all 3 and under) but it was perfect since we spent most time outside anyways! Adam was super helpful and quick to respond when we needed a few items. Would definitely visit again!

Our stay with family was a blast! We had beautiful weather for our stay and the front porch was our favorite for hanging out! And the fireplace was nice and cozy on the cooler mornings. The location is so convenient for walking downtown to restaurants and shops. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise!

My husband, two grown sons, and one grandchild (3.5) stayed at Ritta's. My granddaughter called it the little house with the blue door. She loved it. We ALL did! It was clean, had tons of helpful stuff including games, towels, stocked kitchen with spices, etc.... Everything was super clean, and we had a ball. My guys all loved the game room, but I did too! Just a fun bonus. We really liked the view from the back porch...and saw lots of boats. The neighbor was super nice and even turned his lights on early to please my lil granddaughter. Overall, it was GREAT! We hope to return and stay longer. Ritta was so responsive by text and that meant a lot to me!

We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay!! We loved the location (I mean bald eagles swooping over the water at sunrise kind of love) and our daughter loved exploring the beach with the shells. The house was just so thoughtfully stocked from the extra syrup to the little fire pit for the back. We felt right at home 🩷💚🩷💚

Beautiful home, next to a peaceful nature preserve. Thoughtful touches throughout the home to make your stay easier. Such a great retreat for our family and only about 15-20 minutes from 64, the Colliseum area!

We had an amazing stay, this property is close to the beach, and close to great hiking spots. And what breathtaking views! Roselynn and her family were wonderful hosts. I highly recommend adding breakfast to your stay.

Beautiful beach property, furnished in style, has all necessary things from kitchen appliances to kids entertainment. Felt right at home.

This was a great place. Clean, well equipped, comfortable and private. Andria was an excellent host and provided over and above. She met me at check in and explained everything. Also recommended restaurants. She was very accommodating with check in and check out. Highly recommend and I will go back again.

Our first visit to Cape Charles and we loved it. K’s house is in a lovely residential area, but very close to shops and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach area. The house is simple but comfortable and has everything you need (no high chair or pack & play, but we brought our own). We loved sitting on the porch.

We stayed here for the weekend to support our son running a half marathon. Grant & Paige were very helpful & communicative!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is in a very quiet area with a beautiful view. The cottage is very clean, tastefully decorated, and has all the essentials. It is an ideal place to stay when exploring the outer banks area. One of the highlights of our trip was taking the ferry from Currituck to Knotts Island to visit the Mackay Island National Wildlife Refuge. The ferry terminal is only about a 15 minute drive from the cottage.
