We had a fantastic weekend away at the Stables. The cottage was very clean and extremely comfortable for the 6 of us. Marie is a great host who was proactive throughout and cared about our stay making sure we were happy during the weekend. We had no problems and we hope to return in the future.

Great stay in a rustic barn with tremendous character! Anita went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our Christmas get together. It was a challenge to cook for 12 in the small kitchen but it was very well equipped. We loved the beds & bedding - very comfortable! Would definitely stay again :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Brow Farm. The views from the cottage are absolutely beautiful and the cottage itself was very cosy and comfortable. Though surrounded by amazing countryside, the cottage is a very short walk into New Mills center - so perfect location wise. The hosts were very friendly and we would highly recommend.

A lovely 2 bedroomed property hidden away up a private driveway. To the rear is open fields. The cottage was an extremely comfortable, clean and tidy place to stay. All the neighbours were lovely and friendly. Definitely somewhere I would stay again and would recommend to others.

My friends and I stayed at Dove farm barns for 2 nights. The place was warm, comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space to relax including a living room and the kitchen. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for somewhere to stay that has a large group.

Our favourite Air BnB we've ever stayed in! Such a stunning location. We loved sitting outside with a cup of tea, watching the horses and wild birds of prey flying. The cottage is so well done- cosy, yet spacious and extremely clean. Lots of lovely walks nearby and a great, friendly pub down the road. Kim was delightful- introduced us to the resident cats who we adored and gave lots of suggestions for days out in the area. Thank you Kim, we can't wait to come back.

Such a lovely cottage, very clean and tidy. Jayne is a lovely host with flexible check in and providing butter, eggs, milk and lots of other extras. Hot tub was lovely and warm for when we arrived. Cannot fault our staycation weekend!

Michael & Karen's place was perfect for our weekend on the Churnet Valley Railway - a lovely walk down to Froghall station. The Airbnb itself was clean, cosy and quiet. Very grateful for being provided with some kitchen essentials (the eggs are delicious!) and plenty of toiletries as well. Highly recommend!

If you dont mind bringing along supplies this is a perfect place for a weekend away in Peaks - great affordable substitute for camping in a lovely location. Katy was a fantastic host and I would recommend visiting her tea shop! Dont forget to bring pound coins for power!

Just spent a long weekend here. It is a beautiful house. Everything was in perfect working order and the house was as described. Jason is a really friendly host and communicated very well. We will certainly be back every time we come to visit the area.

It’s better than the photos! What an amazing home with so much character & a beautiful energy that makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter. We didn’t want to leave! We spent the weekend playing games as a family outside in the garden (we were super lucky with the weather. We’d have loved to have had a cozy night in the living room too but there’s always next time!) & had a fire in the evenings. We had a short encounter with the neighbours as buddy came to run home 🙈they were super friendly too. 10/10. We can’t wait to return one day!

Absolutely stunning stay! I actually went up to this place with a dodgey back and a bit of a cold from being so run down with work and was preying to the almighty Gods that it would be as good as it looked. The bed was like sleeping on air, the bath was like bathing in the baths of Babylon and the lounge area was a laiden sanitary! The exterior was a dream too and safe and secure parking! Would definately visit again and if I am in that area, I look forward to it!

Beautiful cottage in peaceful and stunning surroundings, spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more! Decorated beautifully throughout with cosy log burner for colder evenings! Barbara met us at the property and was very welcoming and provided some great info on local walks, pubs and also provided some tasty flapjacks! Would book again without hesitation, everything was perfect! Thank you Barbara and Ray!

This is a beautiful let to stay at, The pool is magnificent and the house is top class. Loads of hidden features all around and a ginormous TV! Great hosts & Lovely plot & local area. Highly recommend Bears Paw for food just 5 mins away. Thank you, We would love to come back

Another perfect stay! The beautiful lake and secluded location make it the ideal place to unwind. This time, I had the chance to explore more, and there’s actually so much to do in the area! The views are amazing, the fireplace is cozy, and the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. Still a fantastic place to stay, and I’d definitely come back again!

A wonderful venue for a family get together. Comfortable accommodation and great space for everyone to mix without being crowded. A great location with plenty of local attractions. Walks from the back door possible and the occasional passing steam train made it all perfect.

Matthew was really helpful prior to arrival with directions but also with recommendations of places to eat and to see. The building itself is a beautifully converted barn with a lovely lounge/kitchen area. (There was also a really cool picture book showing how they did the work which was really nice to see!) Amazing views from downstairs and upstairs alike. It was really clean and well presented. Location wise it’s situated in a lovely town within walking distance to some great pubs and the national trust property. Plus I was able to get the food apps to deliver to the property quicker than in most big cities! Matthew the host was very welcoming and friendly, perfect Airbnb host! Would definitely recommend and love to go back again soon!
