Were made very welcome, and got the impression that if we had needed anything it wouldn’t have been a problem for them, they had thought of everything. Took my work radio for the pool, and some inflatables, only to find there was a fully charged sound bar at the pool, and a variety of inflatables. Forgot to buy butter for toast, before we knew it there was butter for us. Beautiful property, amazing pool and sauna. The most friendliest dog I have ever given a belly rub too. My only regret was we went to the area to visit the monkey forest, only to realise that the surrounding area has so much to over. Definitely coming back, but next time longer. And with a full schedule for other places to visit. Many thanks Donna, hope to see you again later on in the year

Really lovely stay, really nice to have plenty of towels for hot tub and shower. The cabin is really well equipped and everything has been thought of. Even treats, towels and bowls for the dogs. The location is perfect for walking around Rudyard lake and also a short drive to Tittersworth Reservoir. Definitely worth calling in to the Lazy Trout for lunch. Definitely will book again, Thank you!

We had a great few days away. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and well equipped. And the whole cottage was very clean. Andrew provided clear instructions for everything we needed for our stay and very useful information about the local area, and made sure to make it clear he was on hand if we needed anything. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay very spacious! Comfortable bed and has everything you need! Clean and tidy on arrival. Shower is lovely but don’t spend too long in there as our only point for this place was the hot water didn’t last very long. Lovely flooring and decor. Easy to get to and loads of parking. Didn’t hear any noise or the neighbours at all very quiet. Would recommend staying here again.

Me and my family had the best time at Chalet du lac! The views are just amazing and there was everything you needed to relax and have some fun. The family particularly enjoyed “the temple bar” it was a fab space to unwind with a few drinks and have a game of pool and darts. Both Richard and Sophie’s communication was excellent. Really helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do in the local area. Anyone that books to go here wouldn’t be disappointed. Thanks again for a fab stay!

Absolutely fantastic cottage. This is a beautiful cottage, with fantastic scenery in such a peaceful place. Henry is fantastic as a host. This cottage and location are first class, the house is immaculate and the views are wonderful. We will definitely be back!

we had a amazing stay. very relaxing and peaceful. it was perfect for a recharge. great location for walking. 2 pubs in walking distance. the hut itself had everything you could have wanted. it was beautifully decorated and very homely. the hot tub is big and wonderfully placed to see the views. we plan on having another visit and would recommend it to friends. well deserved 5 stars

Great peaceful getaway. The studio apartment is very well presented and has everything you need and more.Judith was welcoming and her kid were so polite and happy too! Surrounded by lots of lovely countryside to explore. Definitely recommend. ps, thanks for the freshly baked bread for breaky! Was delicious.
