Had a lovely few days stay. Was a very tranquil location and very relaxing. Stopping by to see the animals on site was a wonderful experience. The kitchen was equiped with enough pans to make meals while we stayed there. The shop was a wonderful touch to pick up produce from the farm or just a few ammenities that might be needed. So relaxing to sit in the hot tub in the evening after exploring local attractions which have very helpfully been highlighted in a small guide. Looking to return in summer to make full use of the bbq on site and firepit.

We stayed in the Snoozy Owl for the Weekend and had the most relaxing time. The pod had everything you wanted and more! It was so nice and so cosy especially in the rainy weather. The complimentary breakfast items and biscuits were so sweet and thoughtful. I really recommend this place. Mechele was also the most amazing host, so helpful with everything and couldn’t do any more for us. We can’t wait to be back one day!

What a beautiful place. Truly magical spot, with a lot of love gone into it, and the yurt was incredibly cosy even in early March. The birdsong in the morning is incredible, the dogs are a lot of fun, the robins were very tame and cheeky. Tracey and family lovely, helpful and then left us to our own devices. The hot tub was a little difficult to get to the Goldilocks temperature but that’s the nature of wood fired. It was incredible to stream under the stars though. Beautiful place, five stars

The experience was amazing, for those who love unspoiled places and landscapes, this is the place for you, 10 minutes walk there is a small town with lots of restaurants, wonderful experience thanks, Su was amazing and friendly, she helped us a lot, thank you so much.

Absolutely amazing, peaceful & tranquil hut. It has everything you need, including tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil and everything pan and you utensils you can think of. The compostable toilet is amazing, I was worried it would smell, but it doesn’t smell at all, the shower was really powerful and really hot water! The mattress was so comfy and the duvet was even comfier. The views, the birds, the river, everything makes this stay perfect. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back 🐾♥️ Thank you for having us!

A perfect overnight pitstop when visiting the RAF museum at Cosford. Toasty warm all night in March after an evening with the fire on. Dru was really communicative and responsive prior and during our stay. The cabin was perfect size for 3 of us and our 3 year old thoroughly enjoyed their first bunk bed experience and the free range chickens provided great entertainment. Clean, spacious (compared to a lot of shepherds hut type glamping) and well equipped.

The accommodation was basic, but clean and ideal for my needs. As described, so no surprises and Dan & Jackie communicated well from booking to check out. Very reasonable price and would highly recommend for a little getaway if you want to view the many beautiful surroundings.

James was a great host, he was very helpful and was very responsive with messages. Details for check in was thorough and was super easy, no hassles. The hut is as described and photos are very accurate with lovely scenery views. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back. Thanks!

Peaceful, calm, clean and tidy. Was surrounded by the countryside. There was plenty of parking. It was great for the dogs as there was a lockable veranda gate in the cabin, so they could sit out front. The cabin came equipped with tea, coffee and many utilities. Indian and Chinese takeaway menus inside too. Shower and bed were great. We I’ll definitely stay again if in the area.

honestly what a stay. from the minute we arrived until we left Sean (David, haha) has been so attentive and accommodating and just lovely the whole time. daily messages and ideas for places to go. so friendly and welcoming, not a fan of camping myself but this has definitely changed my mind. I know this sounds weird but I loved the shower then outdoor experience was phenomenal. 100% recommend also take hiking boots and flip flops despite the rain and flooding it was beautiful.

Beautiful place in a peaceful private location. It was just what I was looking for. It was super clean and cosy when I arrived! Beautiful sunsets every night and lovely to sit outside and watch with the ponies! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a cosy get away

A night away with the wife for our 2nd wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend peaceful and relaxing just what we needed. Definitely will be back soon. Facilities were excellent surroundings area beautiful. Sitting on the decking enjoying the lake and watching the geese and birds.

This place is perfect for a chilled and peaceful trip away. We had a lovely time and absolutely loved the place. Got so much for our money and would definitely be looking to go again in the future. John is very helpful and relaxed, making us feel welcomed and gave us good local recommendations.

Lovely little place to hide away to focus on work. Plenty of places to go for walks around with the Chevin and Ilkley Moor both near by. Plenty of options for eating places too. The welcome basket was much appreciated. Doggy hellos were super cute too. Thanks Alyson.

We really enjoyed our stay at John's cabin - it was paradise for our 4 year old! John was away for our visit but sent lots of thoughtful messages and videos to ensure we had all of the information we needed. The cabin was well equipped and as per the photos. The shower facilities were spotless. We hope to return in warmer weather when we can sit out and enjoy the view - it was wild and windy the night we stayed, but we were cosy in the cabin.

Our second visit to this lovely property, and a special one too as we got engaged on this trip in the local area! The snug is perfectly located with great views from the garden, plus the hot tub makes it feel extra special. The host provided clear, detailed instructions including local recommendations. There is a local pub and shop within a 1 minute walk of the property. Would highly recommend a visit and I'm sure we'll return again in the future.

We had a perfect weekend away in Helen’s hut. The surroundings are beautiful however we couldn’t wait to get back to the hut in the evening to relax! Would highly recommend!

Review Ali's woodland shepherds hut. Firstly I'd like to say Alison was a fantastic host and she really has created a special little getaway here in North Yorkshire. Splendid views in all weather (not fog 😉) and creatively appointed inside and out. I had a good few chats n laughs with her partner Andy.. great guy. I went alone no dog... Just me for a quiet three night stay .. I packed my car with alot of camping kit minus tent as I figured I'd use alot of my own stuff... Whilst there are most things you'd need at the hut and in the seperate kitchen sun room ... It's good to take things like your own camp chairs etc.. (they do have a few there but I'm 19stone and didn't wanna risk a shallow hal moment 😅). Shepherds hut: lovely cosy hut with raised double bed with bedding. Cupboards table chair and wood burning stove. The stable doors look out across the country side and there is a small covered veranda for two chairs... I really enjoyed sitting just inside with stove on..looki

Beautiful place in fabulous location. Met by Jane on arrival who walked us down to the pod and explained how everything worked. Pod was spotless, cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and it was so relaxing listening to the birds and looking at the stars. 100% would recommend and stay again.

Had such a lovely weekend at the Lavender and Bee. Beautiful escape from everyday life with everything you need and a little more. The surroundings were picturesque and it was just so peaceful. Vivienne and Chas were very helpful and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would 100% recommend to anyone who enjoys walks and cycling as we rented a couple of bikes from across the road and took ourselves on a little adventure for the day or for anyone just looking for a relaxed getaway as the hot tub and views were very satisfying.

We loved our stay at Peggy’s Hut. It was a perfect little retreat! Super cosy and clean inside and so amazing to have an enclosed garden with our pup. Rachel was super helpful and on hand if we needed her but honestly everything went so smoothly. Really had everything you needed.
