We stayed here for my mums 60th. It was the perfect spot for a family weekend away. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed.

Just a little getaway after Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend and a must say what a gem of a place. Calm and peaceful surroundings with all the amenities you need inside the cottage, Cosy, Clean and beautiful, everything you need for a few days away to take your mind off things. The hot tub is a brilliant place after a long day to chill, relax and take your mind off everything that is going on. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful little place in the not too distant future. 👍

What a lovely cottage, and a great host. We chose this cottage because of the quiet location and the hot tub to chill out in, and we were not disappointed. It’s close enough to Chester to access the shops and restaurants, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Lots of walks close by, a nice little village shop and local pub. What more could you ask for. The cottage itself is immaculately presented, very tastefully furnished and has a nice blend of traditional and modern. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful home, clean and spacious, garden amazing, sun on it all day, had a lovely BBQ whilst there, lovely covered hot tub, great temperature.Went with friends for a relaxing few days and certainly achieved that.

Great place to stay, absolutely loved it. The attention to detail is amazing, very well kitted out kitchen. Will most definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at the Drift House! The house was absolutely beautiful, in a lovely area with lots of nice walks and pubs nearby. Nicola was so helpful and quick to respond, it was very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend and absolutely love to stay again if we were ever interested in coming back to the area. We had a lovely stay at Pilgrim Cottage. Cosy, easy to find, and squeaky clean! We didn’t use the hot tub as we were out for most of the day, but it is a beautiful set up and it was a shame not to have had time to give it a go. The beds were really comfy and we so slept well with it being so quiet. Overall, we would recommend and thank you Sam for being so communicative ☺️

If you would like to get away someplace private and peaceful and just to relax I couldn’t recommend this more! It’s a lovely place and just amazing. Plenty to do nearby and just a great time!

This place is an absolute gem, hosts were fantastic, cottage was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Private parking, beautiful peaceful surroundings and only a short drive to some great restaurants and pubs. You feel like you’re in the countryside but only 10 minutes away from Chester and all it has to offer. So lucky to have found such a great place, thank you Sean and Trish, you made us feel very welcome

Great stay and communication from the host to ensure a smooth check in! The host was really helpful and responsive when we realised we had left something behind.

The cottage is great & everything is as described. We loved sitting in the beautiful garden & being able to walk to Marbury Park. Was a great base for visiting our family.

Diane is an amazing host and this Airbnb is truly a gem. The location is beautiful, quiet and the views from the cottage our over the fields are amazing. The cottage is luxurious spacious and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could want including a proper espresso machine. The local towns are good and have plenty of restaurants and shops, our host also shared several amazing local dog walks with us.

From the moment I booked, Kate was incredibly friendly and helpful. Really went the extra mile with recommendations for us. On arrival we were all really excited to be there. The place is immaculate and just as good as it looks. Beautifully furnished, cosy, has everything you need and was ideal for a member of the group with mobility issues as there's a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Lovely place and lovely hosts.

Gamul place is right in the heart of the city, it is tucked away off the high road and quiet but a quick walk from restaurants, bars, shops and the cathedral. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, extra special touches such as milk, tea, coffee and fruit really made our stay wonderful. All of the restaurants that Rod suggested were fabulous- I would most definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Pinfold Barns to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. The location was perfect—peaceful, beautiful surroundings and ideally situated for meeting up with family travelling from the Wirral. The barn was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxed and memorable weekend. Alison was incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. A small issue with the tap was fixed quickly and without any hassle, which we really appreciated. The place was also fantastic for the kids—plenty of games to keep them entertained, and they were especially fascinated by the collection of CDs (or “records,” as they called them!). They had a great time picking some out and playing them. Overall, a perfect place for a special family gathering. Highly recommended!

Lovely place, Coedpoeth really nice. Very convenient for Wrexham and Chester yet step outside and you’re in a lovely woodland valley. Good local shops for supplies. Very quiet at nice with lovely views.

This is our 2nd stay at Little Cobbes and we enjoyed it as much as our first visit. The space is compact but has everything you need for a short or longer stay at this beautiful cottage. Ann and Dave have thought out every detail in ensuring your stay is a positive and enjoyable one. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to major roadways and to walking trails from the cottage. We will be back.

Overall stay was wonderful. Walkable distances to most of the attractions and pubs.

I find it difficult to write a review of Alan's cottage because it is a lovely gentle quiet undemanding place. Alan is a wonderful host bringing much cheer and happiness and warmth. I enjoyed my stay very much and I would recommend staying to others .

Beautiful space to stay in. Very kind and understanding staff (we in the area due to a bereavement) and the team could not have been more accommodating and considerate. Thank you to Rebecca in particular. Very comfy bed.

Great house for exploring the zoo and aquarium and close to the park and ride for Chester. Has an electric charger which whilst expensive was a very convenient addition. Host was very responsive and helpful.
