The annex is clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. Nice area, really peaceful. Sliding patio doors overlook the garden, with lots of trees and bird song. Very little other sound which is amazing for somewhere so close to Dorchester. Clear instructions for everything, lots of parking and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

Booked fairly late but were so pleased we did. Perfect location for what we were doing and so close to lovely beaches in the area. Property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Simply incredible property! The location could not be more perfect. I booked as it’s my husband and son’s dream sort of place, a little apprehensive about having little space myself, but there was an abundance of space! It’s so cleverly designed and it didn’t feel cramped at all, and watching the stars through the skylight on the mezzanine with the ocean sounds was just idyllic. Lovely little touches like tea/coffee/sugar and biscuits, and even in early Spring we only needed to pop the heater on for an hour or so in the night. Simply perfect and I can’t recommend it more (although I want to be able to return already)! Wonderful location for visiting the Ammonite Pavement and very easily walkable to the seafront with restaurants/shops etc (even with a toddler). Thank you Sarah and co-hosts :)

We had a fantastic time staying at James and Emma’s. Whilst the location is tucked away off the normal path, their clear instructions made it easy to find. Their restaurant recommendations were also great and meant we found some real gems that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. We would love to stay again if we were ever back in the area.

As a writer, needing peace and quiet, this was the perfect place for me. Chloe was super friendly. The accommodation was full of character and light, with everything I could possibly need. It was a bonus to have an excellent shop and a friendly pub in close walking distance as well as some lovely walks. I would definitely recommend this for a getaway!

Second time staying here, but we use the place as a base for visiting family so we can't easily comment on the tourist side of the location but from our point of view the location is situated in a beautiful part of somerset. Your not far from many locations and the area is very popular with cyclists, paddle boarders and dog walkers. Julie's place itself is spot less and the kids love it, I would like to apologise to Julie if the kids got too noisy enjoying the flat. They find it very comfortable and with young kids any changes in environment is always a challenge as it could affect their sleep. No problems here, plenty of space and comfort. Happy kids = happy parents. Happily recommend this place again and we will stay again if available/when we need it. Thank you

This was my first stay at an AIRBNB property in difficult personal circumstances. I was travelling alone. This was an exceptional property. Comfortable, cosy and well equipped with everything for a short stay (including kitchen essentials). I felt very secure in the property. There are beautiful walks by the River Wey close by and Supermarkets and shops within a short drive (1 - 2 miles). The Park and Ride to Weymouth is located by the Supermarket and the property is a good base for exploring Weymouth and Portland. The hosts (Lara and Jules) were friendly, helpful and professional. You really need transport because of the location. However, it can be difficult driving out of the property onto the public road as the entrance way is very close to a blind bend. I really loved my stay at this property. I shall certainly come back here if I am in the area again.

Fantastic little place to stay, central to an amazing area with loads to do. Home was exactly as described and clean and clutter free with essentials provided. Barbara was friendly and provided local recommendations within the guidance. Would stay again.

Well what can I stay avril and him are the most LOVELIEST people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and now knowing the old Smokey is exceptional and spotless and it is just a beautiful place and stay the food at the pub over the food is amazing and avril and him went above and beyond for us even giving us lifts to the train as our car was still in the garage they deserve the best in life as there the best most kindest people with the most beautiful air bnb thank you we will be back love Natalie and dom x

We had a really lovely stay in Beaminster. The little property was comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedroom very spacious. The log burner downstairs made it very cosy and we had enough wood for our 2 night stay. We really appreciated the welcome treats for us and our dog. The fact we could bring our dog along too was a highlight for us. We visited the local Red lion pub both evenings because they were so friendly. The food was also absolutely fantastic there too, we would highly recommend.

a hidden gem! second time we have stayed here to visit family in the area .The place is in a very quiet setting yet close to all amenities. high quality accommodation very tastefully furnished and Ruby is close at hand should you need anything .

Wat een prachtig huisje! We verbleven hier 4 nachten met onze 2 kleine kindjes. Het huisje is gelegen in een super rustige omgeving, toch dicht genoeg om vanalles te bezoeken en mooie wandelingen te maken. We hadden alles wat we nodig hadden. Alles was super proper en functioneel ingericht. De communicatie verloopt super vlot. Kortom we hebben écht genoten van ons verblijf en zouden het zeker aanraden.

Lovely lodge in a secluded and peaceful location close to Lyme Regis centre. Helen provided clear and accurate information on the listing and for check in instructions. The lodge was very clean and modern, and felt warm and cosy on arrival. It had everything we needed and Helen was prompt and friendly with replies to messages on arrival. Private parking area was a welcome bonus as well 🙂 We would definitely book again. Catherine and Tracey (sibling fossil hunting weekend).

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend. Beautiful garden with fire pit and hot tub. Amazing pub across the road. Close to the Jurassic coast for nice long walks 👍 Would highly recommend to everyone!

Great stay, everything as described. Beautiful surroundings, perfectly placed for visiting our daughter in Langport. Will book again.......

Lovely few days spent at the cabin which is in a great location with helpful hosts.

2nd time staying with Poppy, a lovely Host, super cool, and an amazing place, nice and relaxed. This time met her 2 little sheep who are the funniest little things and will come and say hello to you ! I learned a bit more about the location this time and theres an amazing walking pathway out of the village, super for a dog walk. Great stay will be back ! x

Lovely place, exactly as described.

Beautiful cottage with absolutely everything you could want or need. The kitchen was filled with everything you might want for cooking. There were loads of books and games to keep everyone entertained. The bedrooms were cosy and comfy, along with the lounge. The garden had a cute table and chairs to sit at in the sun. Couldn’t fault it in anyway. It felt like a home away from home. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely fantastic little house in a brilliant location. Plenty of pubs and places to eat nearby. Claire is fantastic, super helpful and always at hand to help. If like myself you are visiting Crimson guitars just around the corner, definitely make "The Yorkshireman" your first choice of places to stay

super comfortable stay for a couple of nights whilst working away. The house was spotless and well maintained. Situation is beautifully secluded and a little paradise when the sun came out! Hot shower, good appliances & clear instructions for heating etc.

An ideal location for local Christmas family visiting , so we didn’t have need for local pubs/restaurants, however useful info from previous guests was available. It’s a lovely little ‘cottage’ with all you need , loads of hot water , and a nice cool bottle of wine on arrival !

Lovely converted stables coupled with a very friendly and responsive host. We had a great stay and would definitely return again. Nice location that is peaceful and private but close enough to good restaurants and shops that it doesn’t feel too remote.

Beautiful property with lovely grounds to explore, my friends and I had the best time looking around the local attractions.
