GREAT HOME - This is a lovely property in a quiet residential area within walking distance of VCU and many eating options. The back porch hot tub was a pleasant surprise. The home itself is well-decorated, and kitchen fully-equipped, and the bedrooms comfortable. Coffee beans were provided for our first morning, a nice touch. The host was very responsive and proactive. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

This was the first time I stayed in an Airbnb and was nervous. But, this place far exceeded my expectations and I will for sure use Airbnb again. And, when back in Richmond, I will for sure book this property again!!! I highly recommend it!!

Incredibly good accommodations, easy check in and a whole book with recommendations! Incredibly spacious for the price, in a really private area of Richmond 15 minutes away from anywhere you might wanna go in the city. Big recommend!

From the moment we stepped inside the " The Cottage" we were absolutely charmed. Kay left a bottle of wine and personal message for us along with a stocked frige full of lovely breakfast delights. This is absolutely the nicest and most comfortable stay we have ever had. If I could have given Kay and her husband Carter 10 stars I would have.

Easy check in and out. Great communication from the host. Large kitchen with all we needed.

We had 3 families and our soccer coach staying together for a local tournament. Alyson was great to deal with and communicated very well with prompt responses. The house and the grounds were wonderful. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this wonderful location Tony

What a great place! Check-in was easy, the place was lovely and we really enjoyed relaxing & chatting on the second floor deck.

James's home was beautiful, immaculate, smelled amazing, inviting, and just all around a great place to rest and relax. Additionally, James provided welcome snacks and coffee. If every we are in the Richmond area again we will definitely look to stay at this property or another property that James owns. Lastly, James was a great host and expeditious in responding to all of my questions and concerns.

Perfect for a weekend stay. Walkable to some great places to eat as well some fun bars. Quick to drive to the VMFA and other things to do.

Great airbnb exactly as described! Looks just like the pictures. The host gives great recommendations, and the Airbnb was very comfortable. If I had to give a criticism it’s that the area is not the best, but the Airbnb itself was wonderful.

Catherine was a fabulous host! She offered early check-in AND late checkout without us even requesting them. The photos were accurate. The home included more than the listed amenities/description. Truly wonderful stay from start to finish.

We had a wonderful time! Very spacious for the two of us, but still worth the price. Nice little courtyard. Wonderful neighborhood - so easy to walk to tons of restaurants and bars, as well as an easy walk to Belle Island. The spiral staircase is lovely but would be tough for anyone with mobility issues. Sue is the perfect host, very responsive and flexible with our later than hoped for arrival and providing a friendly welcome with helpful recommendations. The space is lovely and in a charming neighborhood with cute restaurants and historic sites within walking distance and very close to drive to other area attractions. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would return.

We enjoyed our stay. Home is close to downtown with lots of walkable areas. Well lit, quiet neighborhood where my dog and I felt comfortable walking after dark and in the early morning hours. The home was clean and spacious, beds are comfortable. A good place to stay for a few days when in the Richmond area.

We stayed at Catherine's place while visiting VCU. Great spot, easy walk to campus, shops and so many restaurants. It's comfortable and charming, fit our needs perfectly!

Thanks again to our hosts! Great space near plenty of great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to grocery stores as well. Easy parking, so you can leave the car for your entire stay and just walk to your desired destination. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Richmond!

Quaint little spot. As described. Mei was quick to reply to a question I had shortly after booking, and laid out all the instructions clearly as our arrival date/time neared. Space and price fit exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stay. Wish we had more time to hang out, so we could have tried the porch. Next time!

I'd highly recommend Chandra's place if you plan to visit Richmond. Lovely, spacious space with very cool art. Primo location with convenient street parking that is walkable to many great restaurants, shops, and venues. She's a great host and we had enjoyed our stay very much.

Great place, not at the hart of Richmond but good enough if you come for a short stay and have a car.
