It was my birthday celebration with my hubby for a night away from our house a city over. I asked ahead if I could use her kitchen to cook my favorite meal which she had no problems with. I even offered her to eat some of the food because I always cook a LOT!!! I believe she made herself scarce to allow us to have our alone time completely which was incredibly sweet. We did see her in the morning and she was incredibly friendly. I have a bad back, but my husband enjoyed the firm bed. We loved the TV (using white noise throughout the night was helpful too) and all the other little touches in the bathroom and bedroom. Would definitely recommend her place - great deal, great host, great place! :)

This was a perfect place for my short one night stay in Richmond. Only one block from Cary St., where there were lots of cool shops and restaurants. Loved how easy it was to go exploring! The house was clean and had everything I needed for this short stay.

very friendly host, always helpful when needed for small things, plenty of privacy and it was an alright place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. The shower was excellent aswell overall would recommend. not too much but nothing was missing, pretty fair for the price and is very affordable, clean and comfortable

Andi was communicative, responsive and accommodating. Her house was great for our two dogs ad they had a nice, big, backyard to play in and plenty of rugs for our senior dog to walk on.

Very nice and comfortable. We had an absolutely fantastic time staying here. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Cozy home like feel!! The communication with host was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. Will definitely stay again and will suggest this “GEM” to others. Loved!!! Loved!!! Loved!!!

I couldn’t have prayed for better accommodations than this lovely home! It’s on a peaceful, easy to find street. The space was extactly as described. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. They had snacks for me, coffee/tea fixings, and even some ice cream options🥰. I was in town to take some biblical classes and study. The space was ideal for this. It was so quiet and peaceful, I got to do something I can NEVER do at home; take a nap. I mean a nap- nap, without setting an alarm. For me it was the little things, the perfect water pressure, the quality of the linens, the hosts leaving the porch light on for you. If you come across the space and it’s available? Grab it! I can see why its not often available😊 10 outta 10!

We had the best time! Location was perfect- walkable to local restaurants and parks, and a great place to take day trips from. We went to Monticello and historic Jamestown, and enjoyed the hot tub when we got back. Richmond has a lot to offer, and we will definitely stay again when we come back :-) Patrick had clear instructions, great recommendations, and was super responsive and helpful!

A decent bedroom for one person. There was a second fold up bed for another individual. Nice bathroom right next to the bedroom. The lock on the front door was a little tricky. But overall a really nice place to stay.

Victoria was very attentive, beautiful home on a quiet culdesack not too far from restaurants and other businesses. She responded very quickly to questions and gave clear instructions upon check in and check out. The room was spotless and neat, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean with amenities neatly place out. Highly recommend

Very nice place and dog friendly. Raymond was very informative on directions on how to get in after our late arrival. I recommend this place to anyone who is in the area!
