A group of 14 of us stayed here for the weekend and loved the place. Location was great, with it being nice and secluded but easy to get into town for food, pubs and other touristy bits. The location instructions made it very easy to find the place. The Airbnb was well equipped with everything you need. The place is great for large groups and big enough for everyone to have their own space when needed.

Lovely cottage - beautifully restored, cosy and very clean. We especially liked the sun room during the daytime, and the log burner for the chilly evenings. The area is stunning, and Hartington has lots of amenities - shops, tearooms, nice pub. Dave was really helpful and responded to our queries very quickly. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

Emma’s was a lovely place to stay it felt very cared for and as guests we felt very cared for. Emma had really thought of everything. We were lucky with the sunny weather and enjoyed having lunch in the garden. It was very quiet and peaceful. Emma was very kind and helpful.

The annex was very cosy, modern and clean. We had a lovely few days exploring Mam Tor and Ladybower reservoir. Our hosts made us feel at home and would definitely recommend staying with them. 😊

Great location for meeting up with family for Alton Towers. Plenty of space, ample parking, cottage had everything we needed & Melanie was very responsive

As a large group of 24 people this accommodation was the perfect set-up. The surroundings are beautiful and a very convenient distance from Sheffield city centre. Debbie was an excellent host - very responsive and friendly and thoroughly helpful in helping with the logistical arrangements with a large group (for example helping with taxi’s or offering their minibus service) which was massively appreciated. It was wonderful to learn about how revenue from this accommodation is reinvested into charitable activities for getting young people involved in outdoor pursuit activities.

We had a wonderful weekend at Penny’s comfortable home. It was perfect for an inter-generational family group of seven adults with plenty of space to relax. The garden is beautiful and close to lovely walks. Penny’s recommendations were helpful and her welcome genuine.

The place felt right at home the moment we arrived. A cozy place making us feel very relaxed during our stay, especially the living room and bedroom. Very comfortable bed, we slept well every night. Craigs hospitality from day 1 was more than we can ever hope for. He helped us settle in and with things that we needed. I would recommend Craig and his place to anyone looking for a nice cozy stay in the city. 😊

We stayed two nights at Avril’s apartment and it was great. Easy to find, fully equipped, warm, comfortable. Avril and John were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. In fact we were spoilt as Avril had left us a variety of essentials such as milk and fruit as well as some treats like a bottle of red wine! As soon as we arrived we were able to make our dinner in the fully equipped kitchen and then settle down on the sofa to watch the tv. Wi-fi worked well too. The apartment is very quiet and peaceful away from any road noise and situated in a lovely large garden. The next day we went walking in the Peak District which is on the doorstep of Chapel En Le Frith. Highly Recommended.

We highly recommend Phil's place! My wife, daughter, and I visited the University of Nottingham for her Veterinary Medicine acceptance at Sutton Bonington, and Phil’s location was perfect. It’s just 100 feet from the Victoria Centre mall and city bus routes, with easy access to all major campuses. Phil's place is in the middle of the nightlife, but flat and the area is quiet, clean, and comfortable. Phil went above and beyond—meeting us upon arrival, offering great restaurant suggestions, and ensuring excellent communication throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and look forward to returning! This was our first time in the UK being from Canada. Phil's place was great and made us feel right at home. Going back in September and November and I will requesting to stay at Phil's place again. You book Phil's place you will not be disappointed.

This place is such a lovely place!! We could not have asked for anything better we wished we had stayed longer! The 3 beds where all very comfortable and there as plenty of space for 6 adults!! Honestly 10/10 air bnb

Lovely studio just as described. Rosie was super helpful and very quick to respond to messages. Great location close to Sharrowvale and Eccleshall Road while the studio feels calm and quiet looking out onto the garden.

Had the most wonderful few days at staying here. Super cosy space with everything we needed and the hosts were so lovely. We would stay again without a doubt!

We had a perfect stay in this lovely studio apartment. Very quiet in a leafy road within walking distance to all the conveniences of Buxton. Parking was easy in the driveway. Access through a separate entrance adjoined to a main property. Upon entering there was a shoe rack which was handy for muddy footwear before ascending the set of stairs to the studio. The apartment contained everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. A separate sofa area for reading, watching TV etc, a kitchen to cook your own meals if required. Welcome gifts were a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The shower was powerful and hot. I can only imagine this studio must have a lot of returning guests because we couldn’t fault anything and definitely hope to return soon. The surrounding area has many walks from Buxton itself and within a short drive. We also visited Lyme Park which is worth the 30 min drive.

Lisa was brilliant from start to finish, responding rapidly to our request to change our dates. The Hollies is one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed at and is in a great location close to the Botanical Gardens. The flat is lovely - warm, comfortable and beautifully appointed with many additional extras provided such as milk, butter, bread and a wonderful range of coffees and teas. The comfort and meticulous attention to detail made me wish we could have spent more time there relaxing on the patio!

Great place, comfortable, quiet house & local to amenities. Would not hesitate to recommend and will be returning in the near future.

Maureen was a great host and even provided recommendations of restaurants and activities. Fantastic location for the sites and walks whilst also peaceful. Will definitely book again.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

We loved our stay in this beautifully decorated home - cosy and comfy. The bath was a dream!Angus was very responsive with great communication and checked in with us throughout our stay. It was great to be able to relax and watch Netflix/Amazon Prime etc after a long day out and about in the Peak District, and the bed was insanely comfy! Also a must visit is Eyam Village if you’re a history buff like me! And highly recommend Casa Carlo for dinner, the owner is lovely and the food was exceptional. Thank you Angus!

Beautiful lodge in a quiet surrounding just perfect to chill for a few days. Excellent very well maintained little extra made this well worth the money, though we didn’t see our hosts and this is most definitely not a negative as we prefer that we also knew that if there was anything me required or needed they were on hand. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately we had a family emergency and were unable to stay but what we did see was amazing! The perfect little getaway!

This is the best airbnb I’ve ever encountered, I have paid double the amount for airbnbs that don’t have HALF the amenities this one has! Anything you can name, this airbnb has it and Stephen was such a kind + interactive host. There is seasoning, sauces in the fridge, many pans, an amazing drying rack and loads more useful things. The balcony is gorgeous!! I’d love to stay here again and there was no problems from the neighbours, everything about this airbnb was accommodating and thoughtful. Thank you so much Stephen :)

Garden Retreat is a lovely ground floor apartment with direct access to a lovely garden. The property was spotlessly clean with lots of additional touches such as phone chargers and torch. It was actually larger than I expected. It was comfortable with everything I could need and more. A large kitchen, comfortable lounge and quiet bedroom. The shower is blissful! Jonathan is lovely, welcoming but also respectful of privacy. There if needed. It’s about a 25 minute easy walk into Belper with its shops and eateries. Lots of great walks from the apartment and Belper. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit with my two dogs. I do hope I can visit again.
