Chesterton : locations de vacances

We had SUCH a lovely stay. I think the listing here doesn't do justice to how private, beautiful and quiet the Lodge is. The sounds of the birdsong outside was magical, along with cockrell crowing and the sound of lambs playing in the garden! The accommodation is also stunning, decorated to an exceptionally high standard for an airbnb property. The kitchen is well-appointed and everything worked perfectly. There are some lovely walks and local pubs/restaurants and we tried the outdoor spa and sauna which is a short drive or 30 minute walk away, in the same village - Paus. It was heavenly and fun to have it so close. Overall, would definitely recommend this place which has been put together with such care and attention to detail - we hope to be back!

Such a beautiful house which looked even better in person. Katy greeted us upon arrival which was a lovely touch & was very responsive throughout our stay. The house is furnished beautifully & is in a great location with Newmarket high street less than 10mins away. We also went into Cambridge which was only a 25min drive. We would love to return, thank you!

Jess and I booked very last minute for a two night stay…something we wish we could have changed - we would have stayed for two more nights if we could! The space was beautiful, slightly remote but exactly what we were after. Trevor was great at communicating and the place truly felt like ours. It’s a beautiful space to completely disconnect. The hut was home from home, the pizza oven and hot tub were a massive bonus that we looked forward to at the end of both days. We have already recommended Trevor and Beverly’s hut. My husband and I had a wonderful stay- the cabins are in the most beautiful surroundings with horses behind and a river in front. Each cabin is private with its own stunning outdoor space. They have thought of literally everything to make your stay comfortable- even an ice machine!! The cabin was cosy and the bed comfortable. But the outdoor space is what makes it- the fire heated hot tub was AMAZING and the fire pit was lovely. We didn’t use the bbq but definitely would have if we were staying longer! Loved every minute and will be back soon :)

Cosy cottage, very homely and well equipped - Andy has thought of everything! We enjoyed a family go on the Wii doing Just Dance. Great fun! Liked the helpful little notes around the place, especially those for the bathroom heated towel rail. We enjoyed a lovely walk around Great Gransden & Little Gransden. Lots of thatched cottages and beautiful houses. A lovely peaceful location. Great for visiting our daughter at Uni in Cambridge.

Our stay at the Koya was peaceful and comfortable and the hosts were lovely - including their beautiful dogs. Would highly recommend xx

The accommodation was perfectly placed to explore Buckden on foot. The owners were really approachable and friendly and had lots of recommendations of great restaurants and things to do nearby. The accommodation was exactly as described. Plenty of room for two people. We both slept really well and awoke to beautiful birdsong in the morning. Very peaceful. Thanks so much. Liz and Jim

This place is just stunning. Beautifully decorated and kitted out. Everything comfortable and homely. The hot tub was spotless and soooo lovely. Parking right outside your lodge. The setting is idyllic with the fishing lake just in front and it’s so very peaceful. You can feed the ducks as they come up to the lodges. There’s donkeys, geese, ducks, alpacas and peacock/hen. There even a games room on site with a snooker and pool table and dart board with lots of board games etc you can play. A lovely welcome package on arrival that included a bottle of Prosecco, bread, milk and biscuits. Really helpful guy on site that couldn’t do enough for us (think his name was David). Good comms with the owner Sharon. Would highly recommend.

Rebecca's property is wonderful. Fantastic amenties and in a great location. Rebecca was on hand to answer any questions, and we loved the person touches she added. Throughly recommended!
