We loved staying out at the ranch. Very beautiful forest surrounded & a big open sky - the place is huge, so plenty of space for exploring & walks. Stephanie (the host) is a lovely and warm person - she was proactive and helpful with local recommendations (and when we were sick!). She also owns many horses, and the ranch provides the opportunity to lean horsemanship & riding - I highly recommend riding in the forest! Overall - I’d very much recommend. The cabin itself it very peaceful & cute, everything you need for cooking, and a great fire that warms the place up at night. Thanks again Stephanie! This studio cabin hit the spot for me. I was looking for a quiet place with trees and maybe some garden. The whole neighborhood was wooded, peaceful and surrounding a valley of vegetable fields. Surprisingly still easy walking to centro. As described the cabin is way above camping and not luxury accommodations. It looks and feels rustic and Mexican.

For us, this was a break from the routine in the city and was everything we could have hoped for. We hiked around the property, saw the animals, prepared slow meals from the food grown on the land, lit the fireplace and really rested. The WiFi was so surprisingly good we actually had to hide our phones so that we could truly disconnect. The bathroom makes you rethink everything about modern plumbing, it is clean, beautiful, zero smell and the views make you want to stay in there! Ha! It was an amazing experience! La maestra María tiene una casa increíble, muy cómoda y réconfortante. viaje por trabajo a San Cristóbal y llegar a un sitio así realmente vale mucho la pena, ella estuvo al pendiente en todo momento fue muy atenta y amable. tuve mucha privacidad y hay una calma increíble en ese lugar sin duda super recomendable para personas que buscan un lugar tranquilo para descansar. todo estaba muy limpio y cómodo, me sentí como en casa.

my partner and I had a wonderful stay. Federico was so friendly, professional and helpful. the place was very clean and cosy. we had wonderful walks around the ranch, we loved exploring the river and waterfalls, and connecting with the animals and trees all around. we enjoyed cooking at home in the cabin. we also ordered lots of homemade food and it was absolutely delicious! we loved making a fire. it was quite cold during our stay but Federico supported us by lending us some Welly boots and there were many blankets in the cabin so we were very cosy. thank you so much!

Wow. This place is a little piece of heaven. There are sounds of running water throughout the place, so you feel instantly relaxed. It was great having a soothing background sound while sleeping. The property is run by a loving family, with the mother in the restaurant kitchen prepping fresh food throughout the week. When you walk down, at the bottom of the property is a turquoise flowing river / small cascading falls. The view is refreshing and a great place to relax and do some yoga. The food at the restaurant is homemade comfort food. It was a perfect place for my dog and I to relax and explore all the local attractions. You're within 30 - 40 minutes drive to El Chiflon, Koila and Cenote Chucumaltik. If you're a couple, family, or just a solo traveler, this hospitable family run paradise is one of the best stays you will have.

El alojamiento y atencion de Federico y Marcela supero las expectativas por mucho. La cama es una delicia. Las estrellas se ven maravillosas. Es lindo ver los animalitos y arboles frutales. Tengo muchas ganas de volver pronto. Tienen menú, les recomiendo el chocolate de leche bronca. Estamos muy felices y agradecidos de haber dado con este paraiso, con Fede y Marce. Ampliamente recomendado.
