We loved staying at the Cottage. It was cozy, clean, well stocked and the perfect location relative to everything we wanted to do. Herb & Patrick were communicative and helpful when we had a question. Great Stay!

The house is cute and cozy with an absolutely huge yard the dogs loved. The beach access was so close and we walked along the quiet shores multiple times a day. The house is really old with cool, creaky floors and is drafty so when we had all that wind, we did notice it. Nothing that changed my review, but keep that in mind if visiting in winter. We lit the fire and watched a movie which was our plan anyway. Great hosts and a great location. Thank you!

Three friends and I stayed here for a writing retreat. We chose this space because it has ample bedrooms and beds (5 - no bunking situations), and 3 full bathrooms. We also appreciated the seating area conducive for our writing. The hot tub was an amazing addition, even in the cold of the winter. This house also came fully loaded with all the amenities in the kitchen needed to keep us indoors and productive. Electric kettles, ample plating, silverware, basic seasonings, extra towel, washcloths - those extra touches mattered! So thankful to our amazing hosts! I can only imagine how great this spot is in the summer. I hope it’s as affordable in the summer as it was for us this winter!

Really enjoyed staying at Lees place. Was looking for a quiet peaceful weekend getaway and that’s what Lee provided. While the detailed amenities were not to the Nth degree like at some locations, it was just as advertised. Hot tub worked great in the snow and sub zero wind chills. Would definitely revisit this location. Went up and down the coast touring lighthouses. Had an amazing time. Quaint location with just the right things to do for what I was looking for. Thanks Lee!!

The lake house was beautiful and very relaxing, it was everything we were looking for, definitely looking to book again in summer! Very responsive and helpful host, had an amazing private chef and the views are amazing!

My family and I were going through some difficult times, hitting some poor luck during our Michigan travels. I wanted us to find a safe and peaceful space where everything was pretty much taken care of and the attention to one’s personal and familial affairs could be attended to. At this cottage, we were able to do just that, and we left feeling tens times bigger and stronger. It was everything and more Kate & Ryan said it’d be. Our hosts were responsive, helpful, and ready to assist. Luckily, the cottage was in such excellent working order that we never had to reach out once entering the space. One special note I’ll say is that the water is just a bit better at Kate’s. I recommend you try it sometime. 5-Star stay, without a doubt.

Jen was so sweet, messaged back right away and gave us a list of things to do while we were there on a mini vacation visiting family. Hot tub and deck so clean, amazing and private Thank you and Happy holidays.

My fiancé and I visited Donna’s place over a summer weekend, and we had the most amazing time. Donna’s house is so beautiful and welcoming - we felt at home. Her place was clean and is filled with the most thoughtful decor. It has everything anyone needs for a peaceful, relaxing stay. She was responsive right from the day of booking to our final day and even stopped by to meet us in person. We look forward to staying at her house again soon!

We had a lovely stay at NWL. It was just the holiday break we needed! Cozy living quarters, full kitchen, a pasture full of beautiful llamas and a couple very sweet doggos. Can't wait to come stay again! Highly recommend!

This cottage is a great place if you’re looking for a weekend to just chill and relax. The inside is a cozy vibe and there’s plenty of local restaurants and even grocery stores if you want to go out to eat or even bring food back to prepare in the home. But the location is also great if you’re looking to do some outdoor activities and just need a home base to return to after a day or exploring.

Great little place that was perfect for a long winter weekend getaway. Not far from state and national parks for trails. My only tip is to bring slippers if you have them and are traveling in winter as floors are chilly and the industrial stairs were neat, but slippers would’ve been nicer going up those.

We really enjoyed our time here. We stayed as a family of four and our dog. The house is very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Our kids loved all the board games, and the backyard was fun for the kids and the dog, too. The living room is spacious and makes you feel right at home. This was our third Airbnb in New Buffalo, and it’s definitely our favorite! Colton and Abbey have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making sure the house has everything you need. They are responsive and friendly hosts. We would stay here again!

What a beautiful location! Loved all the trees, beautiful yard to play games, super big fire pit, deck and grill was spotless! The inside was nice and spacious for the size. Great kitchen and bathrooms. The basement was large! We had an incredible time. Would come back for a longer vacation!

I’ve stayed before and will stay again! Lisa’s home and hospitality are so warm and welcoming. Such a lovely launching spot for all the enjoyable activities in the area, or just cozy up at the house/property. Can’t wait for the next time!

I stayed over Thanksgiving with my Dad to spend the holiday close to family. The house was very cozy, and I found myself often thinking about how nice the yard would be during warmer months with the lake, deck, lighting, and fire pit! The neighborhood was great, and we were so close to everything. My favorite part, though, may have been the Christmas tree set up at the end of the pier with lights turned on at night!

What a great little cottage! PERFECT if you are traveling with children and your furry friends. The house is stocked with thing to keep the whole family entertained. The home is cozy and very nicely decorated. It is easy to navigate to the beach, St. Julian's winery and surrounding towns. Just a short 10 minute drive to the Four Winds Casino as well. Am looking to come back and stay here during the beach season. Highly recommend!

Our little family had a wonderful time at Valerye's place. It was very cozy and peaceful. The cottage was stocked with a ton of amenities and necessities. The location was perfect to visit all the places we wanted to go. Hagar Park is just a quick drive down the road, it is beautiful even this time of year. Would love to come back during the summer.

Sandy's house was very comfortable and cute. The house has many different places places to hang out (living room, porch, fire pit area, and patio area). Each area is very peaceful. Our group had such a great time hanging out there and it was about 2-3 blocks walk to the beach. Sandy had flowers from her garden in vases for us and made us feel like we were home. We would definitely stay at Sandy's again!

Erica and Fred are amazing hosts! We frequent this area and always seem to come back to Elephant Walk for the charm and memories. Our kids love the space and proximity to the beach and Red Arrow Road House. Erica and Fred are so kind and helpful. It’s easy to feel at home when you stay here. The cottage has everything you need. I highly recommend this place! Thanks guys!

We loved staying at Michael's place. The setting is beautiful and private, and the cottage had exactly what we needed. Michael was a great host - responsive and willing to help.

Amanda was a great host and the home was beautiful. Very homey and the decor was simple but beautiful. It was stocked well with books and games and the location was great, just a short walk to Lake Michigan.

Seven of us (3 adults and 4 teens- ages 12-18) enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend! Melissa stocked the house with games (indoor and outdoor!), linens, everything you’d need in a kitchen, and even firewood for the fire pit! We were delighted to find 4 kayaks with every size life vest we could possibly need in the garage. And the kids LOVED having a bunkhouse to themselves. We spent the weekend fishing, playing games, cooking, and enjoying a private channel off the lake. It was ideal! Melissa responded incredibly quickly and was kind and thoughtful from start to finish.

Jacqueline was very helpful and descriptive about everything regarding our visit. Her home felt very peaceful and is a great choice if a lake is what you are looking for. Will likely stay here again.
