Absolutely stunning place! From outside - the beautiful, natural surroundings to the inside, stunning high end and luxurious decor. Nicola has thought of absolutely everything! We had everything we needed and more. Nicola was really responsive, friendly, and recommended local walks. Even gave us some extra supplies after a muddy day out! Would definitely stay again! This is the second time staying at Debra's place. We couldn't wait to come back after the first time so didn't even look at any other places when booking. It's so cosy and feels like a home from home. Everything is always so spotlessly clean and there is always everything we need. Debra is a fab host and always responds when we have a question. The apartment is a perfect location to walk to town and to the local beaches. There is honestly nothing negative to say about this place. If you're planning to come to Seaham and go seaglass hunting then do not hesitate to book here. We can't wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt at home from the day we arrived. The cottage was perfect for our extended stay (a month) and we will fondly remember our time in the cottage, Frosterley and the Weardale and North Pennines area. Our hosts were very friendly, laid back and made us feel wonderfully relaxed during our stay. The cottage was warm, comfortable and well appointed and ideal for our needs. We would definitely recommend River View Cottage and the other accommodation in the courtyard to family and friends and we would definitely consider returning in the future for another break.

Had a great 2 night stay just me and my pooch Beryl, right on the beach, I took my camera and got some great shots on from the attic window, lovely beach walks and great food at granny Annie's where dogs are very welcome, will definitely stay again !!

High tide is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and close to the beach. We had a lovely stay just before Christmas Andrew had a beautiful Christmas tree set up which was great as we had family over for an early Christmas get together fallowed by blustery walk in the beach. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the north east coast.
