We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

The house was an amazing location! We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises & sunsets while grilling dinners in the evenings! The house was very clean and Robert was a great host. I mess him to ask if there was an axe on site. He responded that there wasn’t but that he would get firewood for us the next morning. It was so awesome to sit around the fire at night and hear the loons calling. It was very relaxing. We had to travel at least an hour to do the site seeing we wanted to do but we expected that. Overall was great and I’d recommend the house to others!!

Chris was very communicative from the beginning. Very peaceful and quiet place. Overall, our experience was amazing. We highly recommend Chris and his place, if you want to have great gateway.

My cousin and I spent a week at holly's house. We made our day trips from there. All the sights were easily and quickly accessible by car from there. Whether in the north, south, east or west of Maine. We enjoyed spending our evenings in a fully equipped house. From check-in to check-out, everything was uncomplicated. We really enjoyed our time there.

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

This was a really nice house on a beautiful lake. The beds were comfortable and there were enough to accommodate us. It was very clean and easy to enjoy your stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just returned from a two nights stay at Robert’s. We both enjoyed our time there very much. Everything was just as described and we had everything we needed during our stay. We were even able to make a few easy meals to save on dining out which was helpful. Robert made some great suggestions on how to make the most of our time in the Boothbay area. We hope to return for another visit during the summer months.

This was our first stay in an Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations! The apartment was exactly as described and included everything necessary to make it the perfect “home away from home”! It is in a great location with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and Wilson Lake all within walking distance. Debi was a great host. She kept in contact with us before and during our stay, and quickly responded to all questions. We will definitely stay here again!

It was a great find! Jeff answered very quickly, and was very nice to have everything set for us. We were arriving late. The apt was clean and adorable. We usually stay at the Wilton Lake Inn and have to rent 2 rooms. This gave us a family setting with room for our adult son and us. Privacy for everyone. it was great to be able to have my family over for dinner instead of having to go out all of the time during our visit. Very convenient and close to Farmington for shopping and additional resturants. Unfortunately the weather was a bit wintery, and unable to go hiking or walking. A new little coffee shop. 2 very good little coffee shops in Wilton, had to patron both. They are both very nice shops and owners. We will definitely stay here again. Convenient, spacious, clean! You can't ask for better! Thank you Jeff for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Pat was very responsive and helpful, the place was comfortable, quiet and perfectly located. It was easy to come and go and the island is idyllic. We loved our first visit to Maine!

We had a great and pleasant stay! Everyone was so friendly, especially Zeke the dog!! My son loved him! The sunset on the lake was magnificent! Beds were very comfy, and kitchen was great with everything you'd need. High-speed internet with Roku TV!! Felt like home! Robert, and his family were great hosts!! Thank you

Everything was as noted. The only suggestion I have is to upgrade the king size bed...it has a definite sway to it, but we still slept ok in it. Otherwise, the place was lovely.

My husband and I spent 6 days here for our anniversary. I wanted a location on the water and close to visit all the major coastal towns in Maine. This was perfect! The home, felt like home, and everything was clean and beautiful. Adam was very helpful whenever I had any questions. Sipping coffee every morning on the back porch and watching the sunrise over the lake was so peaceful. Grocery store close by and great hiking/walking areas right out the front door. Can’t wait to come back and bring the family.

Absolute perfect place to get away from everything, while still being close to all that Maine offers. The cabin has everything you could need and then some, and the view and proximity of the lake is breathtaking. Ouda was super helpful and friendly. This is one of the rare airbnb listings where the pictures and description match the reality (and then some because trying to capture what it's like to look at the lake as the sun comes up is impossible). We're already planning on coming back next year, 100% recommended!

We absolutely love staying here! We come back year after year and love the cozy Maine cottage feel to this place. The perfect relaxing vacation and will definitely return for more!!

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the lake house and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the little getaway. It is beautifully located on the lake and has this huge window in the living room from which you have an amazing view. The house has everything you need, even washing machine and dryer in the basement. I would 100% recommend this unique place! Christine has been super helpful throughout my stay.

Perfect little Maine cabin getaway! We enjoyed our stay so much. The cabin was clean, easy to find, and had everything we needed for four people and two dogs. Cannot recommend enough!
