It had everything I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Anne Marie even had a fire going in the fireplace for my arrival. Even though this spot would be ideal in the summer because it's right on the lake, I found it to be very beautiful and comfortable in the dead of winter. It was plenty warm, and easy to get in and out. I couldn't be happier with both the home and the host.

I traveled from out of state to stay and host a small team retreat during the workday hours with Carla's approval. Her home worked perfectly for our goals and needs. It created a wonderful environment to be able to cook breakfast and lunch for the team and to have the space for sub groups to break out for discussions. The dining room, where we met primarily, was incredibly bright and spacious, and the large table accommodated a small group interaction perfectly. Carla was very responsive to questions and solutions were quickly at hand. Thank you!

One of the BEST AirBnB stays we have ever had! The house and grounds are perfect for a VT getaway. It was the ideal home base for our adventures to Ben & Jerry's, Stowe, Woodstock, Middlebury, Burlington, and Hanover, NH. Jericho Market is only a few minutes away and has all the groceries you need (I seriously love the grocery store). Our favorite Maple Syrup experience was with the wonderful folks at Palmer Lane Maple in Jericho. Bob was wonderful to work with. I cannot recommend this house enough! Internet, hot water, space, privacy, kitchen tools, etc. were all perfect. We had an excellent time and would go back in a heartbeat. All four of us truly felt right at home.

We had a lovely stay at Susan’s cottage. It was very relaxing and we’re grateful we could bring our pup. The views were incredible! We loved waking up to the spectacular scenery.

Great spot in Essex! All three beds were comfortable and the thermostat was easy to adjust - good heat is important in VT! Nice sized bedrooms and the living room/kitchen area is great for hanging out in the morning with coffee or having snacks/drinks before dinner. Our family “girls trip” of sisters and aunts was so happy here and loved it. As one of us is local, we’ll certainly be back!

Family of 5 on our first ski trip to Smugglers. The home and property was amazing. Steven was a great host and communicated well. We enjoyed the views and the fireplace the most. As mentioned in the description there is a caretaker/renter that lives above the garage and he was very nice and made sure to see if we had any issues getting down the driveway because it had just snowed 6-8 inches. He said he would make sure the driveway was plowed and just a short while later it was cleared and cleared for the remainder of the stay. It was a great experience.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome and truly treated like family! The games, puzzles and information about things to do in the area kept us busy and entertained. We had everything we could possibly need for both a weekend stay and a longer term stay later on. The welcome goodies were a huge hit as well!

Robin and Mark (and their dog!) were ideal hosts. My only challenge was that I didn't have a car, which is difficult on their street with no sidewalks ... especially with snow! But I made it safely on foot everywhere I needed to go.

Ashley is the perfect host. She is very attentive to your needs and insightful on the area, quick to respond too. The loft was just as pictured - perfect. Lots of details and whatnot, nice finishes with a great charm. She has a beautiful property with the perfect amount of privacy. Kitchen was fully loaded with utensils and supplies, the grill worked perfectly as well. Thank you Ashley, I hope to be back soon!

Jonathan's place was perfect for our needs. We had an early flight for my son and his family. The baby had a crib and my 6 yr old granddaughter had her own room. She loved the switch and we played Go Fish with the cards in the poker box. Jonathan was always responsive and helpful. He had clear directions regarding parking and getting in. This allowed us to arrive the night before and not have to drive 2 hours into Burlington. What a blessing!

Jackie’s place was perfect for my group ski trip! Just over 30 minutes from Bolton Valley, very close to Burlington, and a beautiful home! We had 6 guests and everyone had enough space. My crew loved the kitchen, attached sunroom, and layout of the overall home. Jackie was extremely responsive and helpful via chat and I highly recommend staying here!

We had a great holiday weekend in Charlotte at Robert's apartment. It was close to the mountains we wanted to climb and a nature preserve where we skied. Close to Burlington and Middlebury where we found dinner each night. The apartment is cozy and comfortable; really a delightful place. We also met Robert who was funny and the perfect host. We stayed during a massive winter storm that dumped so much snow on the area and Robert was always very interested in making sure we could get out of the driveway! There were also thoughtful snacks and what not for us when we arrived which is such a nice bonus. We will definitely check to see if the apartment is available the next time we come to VT. Thank you so much, Robert! We hope to stay with you again soon.

Robert’s Bee Haven was just perfect for me. I was looking for privacy and personal space. There was plenty of living space to do yoga, cook, study and a desk to work at. I felt like I could decompress like I do at home after a long day. When I did speak to Robert in person he was sincere and gave great local suggestions! I had a wonderful trip.

We stayed at Jennifer's cabin for our annual ski trip. The location is right next to Sugarbush and close to Mad River Glen, which meant we could get right on the slopes in the morning. The cabin was clean and cozy, with all the amenities you would want in a ski cabin. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after coming off the hill. Also, there were plenty of local restaurants to eat at close by. We would definitely stay here again!

We booked this stay last minute as a little getaway with our pups! It was so beautiful the property had a beautiful waterfall and river. The house had everything you needed, super dog friendly they left anything you might need such as water bowls, treats , leash , poop bags ! The property was so beautiful to walk our pups ! They had everything you needed for cooking and having your cozy little vacation! My husband and I will absolutely be back ! Highly recommend ! Super responsive hosts and they are amazing ! 10/10!

My group had a wonderful stay. Maude provided all the info you could need before arriving. The cabin had plenty of cookware and supplies to last our stay. Everything was clean, easy to use, and Maude was very responsive to any inquiries. I would stay here again!

We appreciated how pet friendly this place was! Fenced in yard. Blankets to cover the furniture to allow dogs on them. Close enough to many different ski mountains. Perfect to come home to the wood stove and hot tub.

This was overall a lovely stay! I appreciated that the description and photos matched the experience. Darren is a responsive host which was also very appreciated. The cabin was cozy, clean, and beautiful. I recommend looking at the forecast before your visit and making sure you have a car with 4 wheel drive if you expect snow since cabin is located on an unpaved road.

We could not have asked for a better place for our eclipse adventure. The two bedroom cabin was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cute and plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved being out in the woods and enjoyed our walks around the pond enormously. Easy to get to restaurants and other activities, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Not a thing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

We loved staying at Castle Serenity. Jonathan & Sally were super responsive and helpful. They gave us a tip to check out Smuggler's notch which was amazing. The cabin had everything we needed, it was very cozy.

Great simple cabin and quiet road. The space is very open and the large windows make you feel connected to nature, also great sunlight. Nice views of the surrounding mountains in the winter. Kitchen is stocked enough. Good central location for easy access to Waterbury and Stowe area as well as the Mad River Valley. AWD is a must in the winter - 10-12% pitch on dirt road, but very doable. (we have a Forester). Overall, great spot - we've stayed several times.
