We came up for a week long snowmobiling trip. The home is newer open concept. It had lots of space for the 7 of us. The upstairs has baseboard heating and the basement has floor heating. The garage as floor heating as well. We had three large trailers which was accommodating. The beds were a mix of firm-soft. The bed I slept in the basement was perfect for me. We had one hiccup with the shower head not functioning correctly, but she came and fixed it the next morning without hesitation. Would definitely consider staying again.

Everything was exactly as described and the house was very clean and check in was easy. Great place to stay.

Everything we needed in a nice comfy home for ourselves and our dog. Never before have we felt our dog was as welcomed as we were! Lots of thoughtful amenities too. Fenced backyard was super.

This is the fourth time we've stayed at Dennis's, and it never disappoints. It's always extremely clean and well stocked. Dennis is a kind, helpful, and conscientious host. The peaceful atmosphere and walkable neighborhood are lovely, but you're still only a few minutes drive from anything you could possibly need. We love it there and will return soon! Great location and layout for staying with family of all ages. Plenty of room for the kids to run around and for everyone to spread out and not feel on top of each other. One thing we didn’t consider: being an old house, the floors are creaky. Didn’t cause issues for us in the end, but could if you’ve got any light sleepers in your group.

My son and I visited Marquette in late September. Donna's house was a great place to stay. Clean, spacious, and well equipped. It's in a peaceful neighborhood but convenient to downtown Marquette. We took several day trips both east and west along beautiful Lake Superior. It was a wonderful vacation!

Overall, I give Bob and Linda’s lodge 5/5. It was exactly what I was looking for: an authentic off-grid UP experience. It’s clean and homey, and Bob and Linda are top notch hosts, going out of their way to make your stay a good one. If you’re looking for a great off-grid experience, this is it. However, it may not be for everyone. For example, we visited in October, and we had to heat the lodge through fireplaces as there is no central heating. I personally enjoyed that but can imagine others not wanting to deal with it. The lodge has an open concept floor plan, and I recommend guests consider sleeping arrangements carefully. While there are a ton of beds, there are few doors, and most sleeping areas don’t have one. So it may not be the best if you have people going to bed or waking up at different times.

Very clean and nice place. Very happy with the stay and looked just like it did in pictures. Free of clutter and all the things you need. Great communication and would definitely stay again.

One of the best places to stay in downtown. Harley was flexible with us and his apartment is even better than in the pictures & description. Without any doubt this is ***** apartment.

This apartment is centrally located and so easy to walk to so much that Marquette has to offer. The apartment was so clean and tidy, as well as homey and spacious. We’re repeat guests in this home and will definitely return again!

I have stayed here before back in 2022 and really enjoyed it. The size was nice and everyone was easy to work with. For the cost, this is comparable to a hotel with much less room. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks...

Santa’s Shack is perfect – an early Christmas gift for me! It’s comfy, cozy, clean, and spacious, equipped with everything I needed. Danielle is an exceptional host: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. I had a minor injury, which I mentioned casually, and Danielle went above and beyond by offering a therapeutic device so I wouldn’t have to drive a considerable distance, there and back, to get one. I had a fantastic time and staying at Santa's Shack was part of the amazing experience. Thank you so much for everything, Danielle!

This was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had at a Airbnb! I really did feel right at home at Michelle’s place! I loved feeling like I had my own little place, but also wasn’t alone if I needed anything. Would definitely rent again!

Sweetwater Inn 1 was a lovely place to stay--aesthetically pleasing, clean, and comfortable. It was an easy walk to both Marquette's historic downtown and Third Street districts. Miriam and Daniel were friendly and responsive hosts. We would love to stay here again!

Kathryn runs a cabin style house that handles 7 guests easily. The decor fits the setting and was just what my group wanted. She made our stay very comfortable and was not the hostess from the big city who you can’t reach or who relies on contracted help to support her guests.

We stayed in this place years and years ago several times. Back when it was cross-country cottage. There have been many updates since then. Very comfortable. Everything we needed to cook meals with quality cookware. Couldn’t be happier with the service and kindness we received.

This cabin was in the perfect location that we had for a friends wedding. If you are feeling up to it, safely go down the hill by the river, it is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and so worth it!

Great host, the cinnamon bread is the best! Awesome secluded place in the woods, super quite and highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved the cottage and the Lake. We made good use of the paddle boat, the fire pit and the fireplace. The fall colors were gorgeous- reflecting in the lake at sunrise and sunset and the privacy and peacefulness of the area was just what we needed. Ian was super responsive and helpful. we would love to come back!!
