We had a lovely stay at Oak House. Andrew and Anne sent welcome messages before we arrived so we felt prepared and excited for the trip. The lock box worked well for self check in. The house was homely and comfortable and just as shown on the pictures. The kitchen was really well equipped and the dining table overlooking the garden was nice. The beds were comfy and the house was really clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this property and would also recommend Andrew and Anne as hosts.

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

Michelle is an exceptional host —thoughtful, accommodating, and highly responsive. She has truly gone above and beyond, equipping the property with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. The accommodation was immaculate, perfectly located in the heart of the area yet offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere for a restful stay amidst beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend

We had a lovely couple of nights at Judy & Brian's beautiful house whilst working away! Brian welcomed us with the log burner on and a quick tour of the house and showed us where everything was. The house is in a peaceful and beautiful location and we felt right at home! Willow (Brian & Judy's dog) was the sweetest! We played fetch with her and she gave us plenty of laughs. We also met their beautiful cat who gave us lots of fuss too. This was great! Especially as missed our pets when we were away. We would love to visit again and explore the area! Thanks for having us! :)

A great base to explore the local area. This was a real home from home with nice little luxury touches. A very well equipped kitchen , everything we needed was there. Even the dog was thought of ! Plenty of street parking . Train station very close by . A few good places to eat and pubs within walking distance. Mark was a great host with good communication.

A beautiful place for two and great outside space. Everything perfect and great welcome too. Parking isn't the best but okay and I do recommend a visit and a great town also

We had a fantastic stay with our friends and family, everyone was spotless clean and the house is a dream. I have never stayed in such a beautiful, stylish, warm and classy place. Ros is an absolutely fantastic host, very welcoming and happy to support. I appreciate so much your quick responses especially during holiday season. The fireplace and hot tub are the cherry on the cake, makes the whole atmosphere so warm. I would 100% recommend this place, it’s even more nicer in reality.

The hot tub was amazing and we spend many hours in there. Never felt more relaxed. Thankyou for our stay!

The accom is well set out with all the mod cons for a weekend. The communal area outside looked fab but unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side so we didn't get to use it.

My friends and I had a lovely weekend at Lydia's place. She was very responsive and helpful when we needed to contact her. The apartment was close to the station, easy to find and the check in was simple. We had all that we needed for a relaxed and peaceful stay. The secret garden is sweet and a lovely amenity to have and although we didn't need it ourselves, there was loads of space for parking. The kitchen and living room are very spacious. The king sized bed was super comfortable. The reason for our visit was to see Port Sunlight village and Lydia's place was ideal for that as it was only about 20 minutes walk away. I highly recommend visiting Port Sunlight with its art gallery, museum and varied and attractive houses. I also recommend for breakfasts the art gallery cafe and a tiny cafe called Jay's just up the road from the station in the direction of Lydia's place. The staff in Jay's were incredibly friendly and the breakfasts were delicious.

Property was as advertised. Good off-street parking, large garden (perfect for playing with our dog) and the house was clean and had most things we needed. The property is also in a good spot close to shops and restaurants.

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

Had a great weekend staying at James and Felicity's place. They were excellent hosts and we really enjoyed the freshly baked loaf and other items in the welcome pack. Hoylake and West Kirby are really easy to walk to and have plenty of nice bars, cafes and restaurants. Look forward to a return visit.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful cabin in West Yorkshire to celebrate a 60th birthday. The setting was absolutely stunning – surrounded by nature, with a peaceful lake and even views of a steam train passing by, which added a really special touch. Although you drive through a holiday park to get there, the cabin itself felt really secluded and private, which made it even more relaxing. The lodge was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together throughout the weekend. The beds were incredibly comfy, and it was such a bonus that we could bring our dog along too. Being so close to Haworth made it easy to explore the local area as well. Highly recommend for a peaceful countryside escape!

Really enjoyed our stay, the views of the lake was peaceful and calming. Only advice I would say is make sure to bring bug spray as once it starts getting dark they’re out in force. But that’s not a complaint as we still loved our stay

wow, just wow !!!! Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Bryan was a superb host, clear, proactive, friendly instructions and guidance. as for the place, well it was perfect. immaculately kept, well furnished, easy to use the hob, oven, shower, hot tub and sauna. lovely little touches too...milk, bread, butter, coffee and tea. We were celebrating my partner's 50th and Bryan had provided some bubbly and put up happy birthday hearts and banners. we would definitely recommend and return. it was perfect. thank you Bryan xx

My sister, my almost 3 year old and I stayed for one night to spend some time together. My little boy loved it, he spent much of his time looking out of the windows into the trees. The pines is well located, very private without being too isolated. We went for a walk on the Heswall Dale which is next door, and had lovely views. We had Sunday dinner in a pub 5 min drive away which did lovely food (fox and hounds). We made use of the fire pit and had a lovely evening sat outside. The place is clean and tidy, and we had a fab time. Would recommend to others.

This was only a brief stay as a couple with pooch. We don't live far away but felt a de-stress was needed and we love this location. The hosts were super helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was peaceful and cosy, clean and warm, and the hot tub was a great addition with a lovely view. We'd definitely like to return for longer and really enjoy the surroundings and full benefits of a long soak in the hot tub.

Great overnight stay, clean and tidy accommodation. Easy to check in and location great for Chester zoo and motorway access

Stayed for 2 nights and was not disappointed with anything inside or outside of the property. The hot tub with amazing views made the place even better. Ita and Michael were very kind and helpful if there was anything we needed. The location was not far away from our hiking routes as well. This place was perfect for our couple getaway in the Peak District. 10/10 would highly recommend!
