Ich habe mich sofort bei Antje und ihrem Gästehaus wohlgefühlt. Alles entsprach der Beschreibung und es herrscht ein wirklich guter Vibe im gesamten Haus. Antje war immer sehr herzlich, freundlich, zuvorkommend, flexibel und weiß alles über Barbados. Ich kann den Ort zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen.

We had a phenomenal stay at Ancient Grove to celebrate our wedding. Perfect for the whole family. With very spacious bedrooms and living areas. We especially loved the outdoor seating space where we could enjoy our morning coffee; would highly recommend!

Where do I start! I had an amazing time here, with memories to last a lifetime. Engrid and the family were the perfect hosts and made me feel like part of the family. The location and accommodation was perfect and just what I need during my 3 week stay. Engrid went above & beyond expectations and the warm welcome I received was amazing. Engrid arranged a taxi from and to the airport and even arranged a car for my 3 week stay that was all reasonably priced The Lodge was clean and had everything I needed with a beautiful terrace where I would eat my meals every evening. Very private accommodation but Engrid & family members are at hand if needed. If you are looking for a peaceful country side retreat that is no more than 30 mins away from most attractions & parishes, then this is the place. I can’t wait to go back and stay here again and enjoy the peaceful views & sounds of nature once again. Thank you Engrid!

Would recommend to anyone visiting Barbados. Lovely stay here, beautiful and peaceful setting, we even saw monkeys from our balcony. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Loxy gave great local tips and let us use her deck chairs and snorkels. The apartment is close to Speightstown which was one of our favourite places on the island (very relaxed, beautiful beaches, a few restaurants/bars and a supermarket). Tip: would recommend a Suzuki Jimny or equivalent for driving, roads in Barbados have lots of pot holes.

Loxy’s place is quiet and peaceful. It’s a short drive into the closest town and beaches. Gorgeous sunsets and relaxed environment. Highly recommend it as a place to unwind.

Delia’s place is really special. The view is stunning, overlooking the open ocean and waves rolling in along the coast. The space is clean, bright and airy. My daughter loved all of the animals. Delia is lovely and made us feel so at home. Thank you for sharing your home with us : )

Excellent week-long holiday at Ocean View. It was spectacular in terms of its setting, and Delia was great. Helpful and present, as well as a good person.

Loxy and her place are great. The room is great, the balcony provides a great spot for sunset and the room stays cool at night. The pool and it's surrounding area are quiet and really relaxing. Loxy is an incredibly helpful host, providing good local recommendations and allowing us to borrow snorkeling gear and chairs for the lovely nearby Heywoods beach. Thanks for a lovely stay.

It is a lovely spot on the East Coast, overlooking the ocean. While there is always wind and wave noise, there is no traffic noise. It's an ideal spot to get away from things—very relaxing. Delia is very friendly and helpful. She has a vision for her retreat that she has been working on for several years.
