Christ Church : location de maisons de vacances

I stayed in Peach cottage for 7 weeks. The accommodation is as described in the listing. I cooked all my evening meals using the kitchen facilities. As others have mentioned the closest large supermarket (Massys in Oistins) is a 15 minute walk and the closest beach around a 10 minute walk. If you want beaches that have any kind of facilities such as showers, toilets or sunbeds/parasols etc you'll need to travel further. There are some "yappy" dogs in the neighbouring properties that occasionally have barking competitions. Speaking with other guests they seemed not to notice this, perhaps I'm just a very light sleeper. Doris and Desmond were very friendly and helpful in their advice

El apartamento impecable, David siempre fue muy amigable. Nos sentimos como en casa, muy cómodo. Esta muy bien ubicado solo que la playa que tiene atrás no es segura para nadar o al menos así nos dijeron, es buena para hacer kayak. Y hay playas cercanas muy buenas aunque mis favoritas están en Carlisle Bay. Recomiendo alquilar un carro. Excelente lugar para hospedarse en familia, agradecida con la atención de David.

Doris y Desmond son excelentes personas, y dieron muy buen trato a mis suegros quienes fueron los que se hospedaron. Fueron muy serviciales y atentos. El alojamiento es muy agradable y cerca de la playa.

I’m currently in a wheelchair recovering from back surgery so my accommodations needs are special. Gale was awesome and respectful of my disability and always responds if you have any questions. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. While it does not have a beach view, the beach is only a few steps away. Brighton beach is a really great spot.

Peter is a very warm and welcoming host. The accommodation was quite comfortable and convenient, being pretty close to the Warrens commercial area. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful apartment. We couldn’t fault it. It was perfect. So clean and tidy. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The water pressure was brilliant and always plenty of hot water. The location was amazing. Walking distance to the beach club and pool, supermarket, restaurants etc… The apartment has everything you need for a fabulous holiday. Wlady is the perfect host. So helpful and friendly and so responsive. He provided lots of useful information before arriving which was great. Tina who manages the apartment is also fantastic. Again so responsive, friendly and helpful. We had an amazing stay in this wonderful apartment and we will definitely be back. Wlady and Tina go the extra mile to make sure their guests have the most amazing time. Thank you x

This vacation felt like home away from home simply because of the Airbnb hosts Sarah and Bruce, their beautiful family and this incredible home we stayed in. The photos don’t do justice of how incredibly cozy and comfortable this home was! We felt safe and right at home as my boyfriend visited Barbados for the first time. You get to see the beautiful sunrise and sunsets on this property while experiencing the full quiet and private experience that everyone looks for in a vacation! We got to play soccer with Sarah’s kids and have some fresh coconut water from the trees right on property, courtesy of Bruce! Sarah even made some homemade peppersauce and a cheese bread as a simple gift to welcome us! The proximity to 6 roads highway, grocery stores and other places were only a 6min drive away, after that, you are living in pure paradise! This stay was more than what we expected. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone traveling to Barbados looking for a safe, quiet, getaway!

Very comfortable house. Shona was there to greet us and show us around. Lovely garden, swimming pool was a few minutes walk away, as were the beaches. Some very good local restaurants, some walkable, others requiring a taxi. We all had a great time and were sad to leave.

A unique and beautiful stay at this old/renovated sugar plantation house. The place is renovated, spacious and comfortable. Has basic kitchen supplies, plus a grill at the pool. (Bring your own cooking oils and such). Loxy was happy to talk to us about the island, the house, and the area. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests at the beautiful pool and porches. As others have shared, the road up is quite bumpy, but we easily made it with a small 2wd car (suzuki shift). It's about 15 mins to the beach and town (as you have to drive slow), and 7 mins to best coffee on the island- Wyndham at Haymarket. We didn't have hot water in the shower, but Loxy mentioned something about it so it's possibly coming. As mentioned, it's a farm stay so there are friendly cats and bugs. We can recommend this lovely airbnb and attentive host! (We quickly received our full deposit back).

What a fabulous apartment this is! The photographs do not do the property full justice. Possibly the best position within Port St Charles, overlooking the marina, the island swimming pool and bar and out to the sea. The pool, surrounded by the most comfortable sunbeds, is a great alternative to the beach, and a simple stroll from the apartment. Water taxi available during daytime to take you to the beach or to the main bar/restaurant. There is lift access to the apartment. Each room is very spacious, light and tastefully decorated. All well equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans and very clean. The terrace spans the width of the property making a large area to enjoy the cooling breezes day and night. Karen, the owner, was so very helpful and easy to communicate with. The managing agents are local and highly professional. We would not hesitate to return.

Thank you Claire for hosting us, my family and I had an amazing stay at your apartment. To be honest there is nothing to fault. Barbados was the last of our stays having travelled round some other islands, and what a treat it was to end with. So homely, perfectly decorated (so much so I asked for details of where to buy items from - Claire has a fantastic shop too) Pristine, all the amenities you need, and even a welcome gift. The complex is well maintained with two pools and a restaurant on site with a great bar for sundowners with a beautiful view of the ocean in the distance. Beaches are easily accessible and as mentioned previously, the apartment also includes rental of beach chairs which is incredibly handy. Claire is easily contactable and happy to help with the thousands of messages we sent her way. Perfect apartment, perfect stay, perfect host. Thank you again, we'll 100% return again as such a gorgeous place.

A fabulous place in beautiful, tropical and peaceful surroundings. The outdoor areas provide real flexibility. The onside pools were excellent for a morning swim, or to cool off in the hot sun. It's an easy and pleasant walk downhill to the beach and to local bus routes, but we would recommend taking a taxi back if you don't have a car. Judith was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions that we had. We would recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing stay away from home.

I had a wonderful stay here. Home away from home. Marv and her husband went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and to show me island life in Barbados! Notes: It is on the Checker Hall bus route, but this isn’t too regular. It is possible to stay without a car, but is probably useful if you do have one. There is a washing machine, but no powder (all other amenities provided): useful to bring your own if you plan on using. It’s a countryside location, so be used to hearing noises of insects/possibly some bugs in the property: well made up for by the other tranquility the place offers! Overall: 10/10 would recommend! Look forward to staying again if the opportunity arises for another trip to Barbados, or to catch up with Marva and Marcelo if they come by London any time 😊
