The unit was as described and is about half way to the airport and town center. It's a quiet area, which we appreciated for when we wanted to rest. There are some local eateries and shopping nearby; about a five minute walk. The host was able to answer our questions in a timely manner and provided some local information in a welcome book. Would stay here again.

It is always a pleasure to stay at Rose Cottage which feels like home away from home when I am visiting family in Christchurch. I appreciate the personal touches and the welcoming space, as well as Anne's friendly and helpful contact.

For my wife and I, Michelle’s place was ideal and felt like home. We liked the layout, especially downstairs, where the kitchen and dining space was very ample. The beds were very comfy and the heat worked well. Fast streaming on the TV and the internet was fast. Reversing our car into the garage was a challenge at first due to the angle of approach but still quite doable. All told, a highly recommended home.

The location at Wendy’s place is excellent - an easy walk to town and restaurants. It was perfect for us, 2 couples travelling together. We enjoyed the 2 restaurants and the Beat breakfast place that Wendy recommended. The pantry items, milk, etc, were much appreciated on arrival + the little welcoming chocolates placed with the bath towels - a nice touch. Great information for Christchurch available in the house. We highly recommend Wendy’s place.

Carla was lovely host and I really enjoyed my time staying at her airbnb. The room was clean and quiet - the house is located within walking distance of hagley park. Thank you for making me feel at home Carla!

We really loved the apartment, the location was excellent, it was suitable for a family of 6, we needed to bring the table and chairs from outside to have dinner, but other than that, the apartment really suited us. The landlord accompanied us and was very charming.

Perfect location for exploring central Christchurch by foot or public transport. Off street parking a bonus, felt secure leaving the car behind a gate. Bob was a great communicator. Would stay again.

This is a lovely place to stay, in a new sub-division in Chch. Only 20mins from the airport and 15 from the city. The property was prefer for 3 friends, with us able to have a queen bed each. Everything was clean and smelt great. Will rent again

Wonderful place for our short stay. Less than 5mins walk to the nearest mall for groceries shopping. Kitchen was fully equipped and provided more than what we expected. Fresh fruits, cereal, coffee..etc Love the bathroom the most as it has strong water pressure. Will definitely stay again and recommend it to my friends.

We were four (older) adults who visited Christchurch and stayed in Leah Mae's appartment for six weeks. It was very tasteful, clean and well equipped apartment. The two ensuit bathrooms with shower were perfect for us and allowed for privacy and the downstairs kitchen-living room space was lovely. We felt at home there and it was easy to get around, with metro connection right around the corner and a nice neighborhood to walk around in. The center is within walking distance as well. For grocery shopping we usually walked and then took an uber back. We cooked at home a lot and that worked well. The little outdoor space was nice with some seating for an evening glass of wine and for hanging up laundry to dry. Leah Mae and her husband Jerry were extremely accommodating, answered emails immediately, and very just very nice.

The proximity to Lake Te Anau and the view of the lake and the mountains of Fiordland National Park make this a really exceptional property. Walking, running, or cycling on the lakeside trail to town or east along the lake is easily accessed at the end of the block. The trail and the area felt safe at all times. The neighborhood is also a quiet and people we met were friendly. The house is spacious and well equipped. We especially appreciated plentiful kitchen and bath towels. The deck on the south side of the house is a delight, especially in the morning and evening.

It was a lovely stay at Dan's townhouse which is located in Christchurch Central, so close to restaurants, public transport, shopping and trams. The accommodation was not only clean, tidy and uncluttered, it also had a homely feel. I would certainly recommend Dan's place to anyone looking for a central location in Christchurch.

We only stay there a few hours, but the house is very clean and the beds are comfy.

This was a great spot for us to end our South Island trip! It had super convenient parking and the on site instructions were pretty clear. The street turning into the building is a bit narrow, but we never ran into anyone else as we drove in and out. We arrived really late for check-in, but Alana reached out to ask if we were able to find the place and get in. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable (7/10). The check-out instructions were simple/straightforward. This is a great location!

Great place to stay, it was exactly what we wanted for the weekend and was not too far to walk into town.

A comfortable house in a quiet and very pleasant area. The location is perfect, with Merivale shops just 5 minutes walk, downtown 5 minutes drive, the northern motorway just minutes away, and a direct route available to the airport via Glandovey Road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay with Carebnb was perfect - we couldn't have asked for any better :) Quiet place but still in a really good area close to plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as a large late-night supermarket next door. Apartment is well equipped with all that you need and plenty of clear information Thank you!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your very comfy home , we had everything we needed, and was a good walk to the shopping centre . Thanks for the bottle of wine you left , but that wasn’t necessary, so you can enjoy it instead. Cheers Maurice and Jenny
