The Lavender Cottage was a beautiful private property with everything one might need or want. We loved the coziness and the outdoor deck. The location was great for visiting Akaroa. Would highly recommend their lovely coo! Thank you so much!

Heather was incredibly kind and gave lots of recommendations for both the local town and Arthur’s Pass. I would highly recommend this place for either a short or long-term stay. Just be aware Google Maps gets you to the right road, but not the right driveway.

The cottage on the small farm was perfect for a couple or a family. Janette was very welcoming and helpful. We could have stayed a few more nights.

This was our first Airbnb with stairs in 6 weeks of travelling around the South Island. We had a lovely time and the little extras which were left in the fridge for us were very welcome. We loved Himalayas Indian Restaurant in Rangiora - 10/10 and Cafe on The Green in Glentunnel.

Absolutely lovely lady who pays attention to the little touches that make staying there so enjoyable & we got to feed the sheep they were so woolly & lovely.

It was great! Perfect for 2 people and we had everything we needed for 1 night. Romantic for a night away with the partner and it feels private enough without actually being too far from their main house, we felt safe and secure.

We arrived late evening after being delayed on the ferry crossing from Wellington...but Joseph was very understanding, met us at the gate and got us settled. Cool off-grid cabin, awesomely comfy bed, tiny little fireplace kept us warm. The goats are super friendly, particularly #15 😁

It is a wonderful place! Lots of insects and farm animals for kids to look for (grasshoppers, crickets, moths, butterflies, ladybirds). Night stargazing is also great since no lights around. The toys in the cabinet is a surprise and my son enjoyed a few gadgets a lot. Google Maps didn't navigate correctly at the last turn though so look closely at the number plate on the mailbox by the road when driving through.

Hannah's place was perfect for our short stay over in the area. In fact, we wished we had longer! It was perfectly clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. It's also a quick drive to the nearby town and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. Hannah was also friendly, responsive and very willing to help out with our requests.

We had an amazing stay with Stephanie, she walked us round the farm to meet all the animals & let us feed the sheep and horses. The container home was so quaint and cosy we had a really lovely night, would definitely recommend & we will be coming back!

We had a superb one night stay with Sally and Murray on our way to the Banks Peninsula. They were flexible, helpful and very welcoming. We enjoyed chatting to them, the breakfast was delicious and the garden was a tranquil haven. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Sarah's place was perfect. We were staying for an event in Lyttelton and taking the ferry across was perfect. It was peaceful and had everything you could need. Lots of interesting books, art and so comfortable. I definitely recommend this place for a stay.

Château Pritchard The best BnB I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at so far! Barbara is the best and she is absolutely amazing! She would go the down the extra mile for you and helpful with basically anything! Just ask. The host is extremely efficient, pleasant and friendly. I’ve even called her my fairy godmother. She designed my bridal suite way above my expectations and it was absolutely stunning! We’ve booked in for 2 nights for my bridal suite plus all the other 2 rooms a night for the entourage. Chateau Pritchard is absolutely gorgeous place, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. Amenities were so great. High quality rooms and high quality service. Excellent property and very convenient, spotless and has a fantastic vintage charm. This is the perfect spot for a wedding/entourage accomodation, special occasions or simply a weekend getaway from the city but you don’t need to drive miles away. I have stayed at dozen of BnB in NZ. This was on the top of the line. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. Never ever hesitate to book in Chateaux Pritchard for your special events or intimate occasions. We had a lovely stay at the house of Tracey. The sounds of the creek combined with the nature surroundings and birds song makes it a perfect getaway. The house is situated in a lovely corner with open view. To be able to barbecue while looking into the distance is wonderfull. It was great to light up the fireplace inhouse when it got a bit colder. the kitchen and bathroom are really great and modern, providing all the needs. we highly recommend to stay at this lovely and special place Tracey has created and is willing to share. Since we are from the Netherlands its not likely that we will return soon to New Zealand, but we definitely will and when that time is there we hope to able to stay at the lovely house of Tracey again.

Thank you for opening up this amazing space for us to enjoy whilst we prepared for our wedding. It was so surreal. This property was perfect and made life so much easier being next door to the venue. We had everything we needed and amazing photgraph opportunities. Just amazing, thank you!
