Fantastic property. Even better than photos. The pool and outside area was amazing. Every amenity you could think of was there. Added touch of a Christmas tree and a present under it for our the little girl in our group. Would highly recommend.

Amazing place. Beautiful inside and out (pool, patio dining, garden), modern, and immaculate. Everything was high quality from five star bedding to the well equipped kitchen. Hostess Jules was very responsive and friendly…The property sits in a nice neighborhood high above Christchurch, and our favorite part was on the other side (a short drive) - Taylor’s Mistake Beach and the world class walking trail above and past it. I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was really nice.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay. Lovely grounds. It felt homely and peaceful. Really enjoyed the spa. Very well appointed. Our wee dogs loved having some space. Would book again. Thank you for making our stay a lasting memory

What a beautiful home in a unique location. Our three generations gathered from three countries for a lovely 5 days together in Christchurch. The views from all levels of this home are over the top. With high end cookware, two dishwashers and (my personal favorite and usual airbnb pet peeve) sharp knives, we grilled and gathered for “dinners in” every night instead of going out. Great access to governors bay pier and coffee/pizza just a short walk away. Loved this place so much and would return in a heartbeat.

I can't thank Louise enough for our wonderful little homely and private cottage in the autumn trees, showering yellow leaves over the garden. Rose Cottage is just pure magic at this time of the year, especially if you are a keen photographer as l am: While it is close to the airport it isn't in the flight path so there's not that much aircraft noise, and it is close to supermarket, coffee shops, etc. Louise and Matthew are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their property to anyone visiting Christchurch and wanting something just a slightly bit different :)

Great little spot for a family. Had lots of amenities to keep the kids occupied and the house was perfect for our family of 5 for a few days visit in Christchurch.

A beautiful house in a gorgeous location, this is my second visit and I was not disappointed. Only wish it was warmer so I could swim in the sea.

Lovely place to stay, we had a group of our work ladies from all over NZ meet and stay. Fantastic for larger groups bedrooms were just lovely.

Christina's place was lovely and exactly what we were looking for. All photos and descriptions matched what was said in the listing, with everything being perfectly clean before we arrived. There was a great amount of amenities especially in the kitchen which made cooking very simple. Christina also had boardgames in the lounge which was amazing, we spent alot of time playing articulate. Would 100% come back again!

We really enjoyed our lovely, warm comfortable home away from home. Lots of countryside as well as retail shopping, cafes & restaurants, golf courses and interesting walks close by. Kaiapoi is a great get- away location. Val

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Although on a busy road it is quiet inside and the location is perfect. Handy to local shops, short drive to the supermarket at Merivale and has a lovely outdoor courtyard to enjoy in the sun. Off street parking makes it easy to get your bags and groceries inside. The living room is a great size and kitchen has everything you need and more. Note that although there's a washing machine there's no dryer, but there is an outdoor clothes line and a drying rack to use inside. 2 good sized bedrooms were perfect for us. We felt right at home here and are sure others will enjoy it just as much. We were visiting family so will stay here again when we come back next year. Thank you Rose.

Incredible four nights in New Brighton. We have been coming for 8 years to a local surf competition and this time was the first staying here. Lovely new apartment, central, cozy and also private. Loved every part of it and Bee was a star with the communication and helpfulness. We will definitely be back ~

Great stay for five Adults. Lovely and clean with all we needed. Beautifully presented guest breakfast along with a fruit bowl. Host very responsive to help us when we needed.

We absolutely loved staying at Shan & Lauren’s place. All instructions were super clear and easy to follow (photos included) and their place had a nice homey feeling to it. The couches and beds were super comfortable as well! We are spending 3 weeks travelling and wish we find another place like this along our travels. We highly recommend this stay!

Great stay as a family of four and our dog for a week. Great walks to beckenham park and lunch at the local restaurant birdwood. Could do washing, two toilets, cook meals, easy stay.

We had a great stay at the house. Location is excellent, walking distance to Hagley Park, Riccarton, Mona Vale. While there are town houses all around you it still felt private apart from a bit of noise from neighbours. A few more amenities is the main thing missing from taking this house to the next level. Christina was great to deal with and we'd happily stay again. Thanks
