The photos, don't do the bungalow and the grounds justice. The owners have done everything to the highest possible standards, no corners have been cut! The bungalow is absolutely perfect. It's, tasteful and modern, bright and clean! The outside area is just as good. Hot tub, outdoor cooking area and games room, all clean and well maintained. This place is well worth the money! We didn't want to come home. I loved having a few drinks in the pub up the road, that's completely unique, and then jumping in the hot tub. The hosts left us alone (but let us know, they were available if needed) and allowed us to enjoy their lovely bungalow and tub! We will 100% return. Unfortunately this venue has set the bar very high for all future venues that we stay at and I don't think that will find better or even to this standard. Thank you Simon and family.

Great stay, stopped with my kids who are mostly teens, they didn’t want to leave! Plenty of room for us all to spread out, very spacious! Convenient for city centre, shops, train station etc Would definitely stop again, many thanks! Host left us sweets and staples which was a lovely touch.

Ben was an excellent host and I would really recommend his place for the location, if you are holidaying in Ripon it is very central. The house was clean and homely. Parking is on street and we managed to get a spot on the road every night the week we stayed but generally it had filled up by approximately 17:00, there is alternative parking in a carpark around the corner though. There is a nice running route through fields along the river out of Ripon and back in from the north. Thanks for the lovely stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pingle Nook Farm Guest House. The place is ideal for families wanting a peaceful location. My boys loved feeding the chickens everyday & collecting the eggs. The house was well equipped and clean with everything we needed as a family. We will definitely be back!

Amy and Oliver - I actually have no words for how amazing this place was! I first put it in my wishlist a long while back and somehow stumbled upon it again to stay for the first time this weekend. My family and I were completely amazed at absolutely everything - every detail and the handiwork you have both put into this place is just immaculate. I’m so grateful I was able to find this place - it was so homely, so clean, absolutely stunning, the most equipped place we’ve stayed in and so much more. My only complaint is that we wish we stayed LONGER! I hope you will continue to keep your home open as it’s an amazing place to stay - we hope to be back (and perhaps with others who haven’t been blessed to see it yet). Thank you for everything you supplied us with this weekend - we were fascinated by everything and we are still talking about the home now that we’re home! My second time staying in Petra’s beautiful home and I can’t wait to return. It is a home away from home. It is beautiful and peaceful with gentle birdsong throughout. Petra is kind and considerate and attentive. This is an ideal location if your travels have brought you to Wakefield or you need a base for a smooth commute to Leeds. The photos and descriptions are exactly as you will find in the property. There is off road parking at the end of a long driveway, right by the gate to the annex. Walking distance from a corner shop, pubs, co-op local, fish and chip shop, local library and a pharmacy. Short drive from a local train station and 10-15 walk to a bus stop that serves an express route to Leeds. I cannot recommend Petra’s gorgeous home enough and I look forward to returning again soon x

We had a lovely weekend staying at Serendipity to visit the Christmas markets in York. The place has everything we needed and more and Rachael had kindly left the heating on for us so we were super cosy when we arrived in the evening too. Very comfortable bed with great pillows and a great power shower - the all important things! Also a lovely extra touch with some treats for us and the dogs, plus milk, tea and coffee. Our 8 year old loved the addition of the XBOX and extra toys to play with too! Thank you so much Rachael! Helen, Dave, Fin, Olive & Gus x

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The home was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend, including logs for the fireplace and plush towels. The layout was perfect, with three spacious bedrooms and three full bathrooms (two with showers and one with a bathtub), which made it feel extra luxurious. Although the weather didn’t cooperate—there was a cold windstorm and constant rain, which kept us indoors and made the hot tub unusable—we still thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house made staying in a delight, and we look forward to returning in the spring or summer to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces and hot tub. The location was great as well, with a charming local pub nearby that we visited on Friday evening. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we absolutely plan to book again in the future!
