Oquaga Lake is my happy place! Twin Oaks is a beautiful and spacious cottage. The porch and the docks are fantastic. We were able to swim and enjoy the paddleboards and kayaks. The water was warm by Oquaga Lake standards! I was very impressed with how well supplied the cottage was. From paper products to cooking utensils and appliances to bath and beach towels, there was everything we needed. It exceeded my expectations. Karen was responsive and helpful. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it.

My husband and I were just looking for a nice place to get away for a couple of days, and while this place was way more house then we needed, it was still comfortable and the amenities were great. Everything was as described, our bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the use of the home theater, jacuzzi and pool table. There were cute touches like the coffee bar, and fire s’mores kit with marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate bars and peanut butter cups. We would definitely recommend this for both a quiet, private getaway, as well as a large gathering of family or friends.

We were looking to host a retreat for the trustees responsible for running a creative problem solving program for kids in the state of New York. Our experience at Heywood Manor was nothing less than exceptional. The location, the house along with its amenities combined with a gracious host made it a memorable weekend. I'm trying to think of a reason to return just to experience it again!

We had a beautiful stay at Celeste‘s place. We have stayed multiple times and it’s always great. We were there to celebrate with my son at SUNY Cortland. The place was spotless and perfect for our family and our little dog. We plan on staying again soon.

I’ve never left a review before on here but these guys without a doubt deserve it. I felt like I knew these guys my whole life with how welcoming they were. By far the coolest, most peaceful experience I’ve ever had with an air b and b. The weather made things a bit more interesting but with a drop of a hat they accommodated and made life so easy. I will without a doubt stay here again. The cabin was perfect. They supplied us with water, coffee and zeb even had a fire started for us before we got there. If you’re reading this review and you’re in between places to stay, I promise you this place will become your new favorite home away from home. Thanks again for everything 🤘🤘
