2nd visit and just as good as the 1st visit. Very well appointed, with everything needed for a nice visit. Animals on farm are just a bonus for hours of enjoyment.

Corinna is very friendly and outgoing. She is more than happy to recommend activities and restaurants. She has thought of everything that someone would need or want and then goes ABOVE that. (I LOVED the heated toilet seat!) Everything is as represented in the pics and is in pristine condition. We were here for 4 nights during a get-away to see the area and visit with an elderly uncle. We enjoyed the hot tub and took the paddleboat out. I wish we would have stayed longer to have more time to enjoy hanging out at the house. I hope to come back to La Casita soon.

Family of 5 (3 kids) and two dogs from VA. Felt the house was perfect with a great yard and cool trees. The dogs didn’t need leashed and could be at ease with pool access being safe. (My dogs can’t swim) The sheets were real cotton (this means a lot) and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bedding and pillow options. Kitchen had the basics to cook meals which was easier. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation other than food to eat. Close to everything we wanted to do. A great trail that was not a commercialized walk where we saw armadillos, manatees, an alligator, bald eagles, snakes and we could hear two owls talking. It was perfection. The swing out back was a nice peaceful touch and I really appreciated the grill. We saw crystal clear water at three sisters while kayaking as well as dolphins at sunset. We took a boat cruise to an island and found more shells I’ve seen in my life. I’d come back again and again. No hoopla where tons of people were.

It was just as pictured. Easy to find. Only thing to warn about if parking. It is down a dead end street. However, most streets are that way in the area. So definitely limited parking, read the parking instructions as they are “true to size”, so to say. Having a boat and launching in the marina we were able to have truck & boat trailer parking at the marina while boat was in the water. Not bad at all. Fenced in yard was great with a toddler and dog!

Cheryl was very nice, responsive, and her thorough instructions were very helpful. Most important to me, the house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utencils, and the bedding was very nice. We all had a lovely time fishing on the dock, kayking, and boating down the river. We explored Homosassa Springs, Rainbow Springs and several other Florida attractions. The whole family had a lot of fun!

This was perfect for my best friends and I to have an awesome weekend reunion. I moved out of the area over a year ago and it was a perfect spot to spend time with those I love and miss the most. We had gone to the dam (recreation area less than a mile away) when we were kids and it was really neat to visit it again more than 20 years later. The beautiful view from the backyard was incredible and the sunsets looked more like paintings than pictures. Our gracious hosts were accommodating for my dogs, which was a necessity. The grill was in great shape, the beds were comfortable, and there’s a big tub in the master bathroom that the youngest child was ecstatic for. The tv met everyone’s needs and the WiFi was decent. If it’s available for our next reunion, then it will become a tradition. Thank you for lending us your home for this unforgettable weekend of gingerbread houses, fishing, Christmas movies, good music, and cooking great food with friends and family!

This was a home run. My wife and I needed to get away from the stress of everyday life, suburbia and just see a different landscape. This checked ALL of the boxes and then some. When we talk retirement, this is what we want.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend for his birthday. It was exactly what we were looking for. Out in the woods, secluded from the everyday hustle and bustle and quiet and literally right on the river. Early morning coffee was a treat with the birds and let’s not forget the alligators! Definitely will come again and again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming lakeside cottage, and I can't recommend it enough! Nestled in nature, the cottage is a serene retreat that perfectly balances beauty with modern comfort. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how well-maintained and clean the entire property was. The interior was cozy and inviting, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The amenities were plentiful, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the spacious living area offered a great place to relax after a day of exploring the surrounding nature. The highlight for me was the small dock overlooking the lake — perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. The cottage was also equipped with outdoor gear like kayaks and a fire pit, which were ideal for taking full advantage of the beautiful setting. Don't pass this place up!

I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb. It was clean, well-priced, fantastic location and so well appointed. We loved our stay at such a special property and look forward to coming back. We especially loved Ozzy the Peacock and Kasey the Kitty!!!

Shannon’s place was so cozy!! It was so clean and decorated so well. The location was close to restaurants and being right on the canal was so convenient. We were able to paddle Monkey Island. Shannon was a phenomenal host. She made sure we were taken care of and was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved this. Walked down to a couple places for live music and good food. Cute area. Cute clean house. We will be renting again. Thank you, Sam for allowing us to warm up from Michigan over valentines weekend

Enjoyed the stay, the wildlife, and seeing the sandhill cranes every morning and evening was a plus.

Loved using the Kayaks ! Beautiful area! Visiting family close by , the home had everything we needed to have Thanksgiving!

This was one of the cleanest places I have stayed in. Everything described was true. Nice small quiet place to get away. Would stay here again.

Mom’s River house is a great place to experience the Withlachochee river and area. Use of Kayak and boat took us to serene and natural places we have sought out for a long time. Sitting on the back porch in wonder of the changing sunlight, birds, cicadas, and the Spanish moss waving from the massive oak trees brought peace and solitude. House and kitchen had all the necessities. Allen provided guidance on household items, how to use the boats and useful fishing tips. A week has gone by, and I continue to think about our time there.

We were looking for a quiet get away and we got what we were looking for!!! Seclusion and quiet!!!! Saturday was a little loud with the summers launching and loading in the empty lot next door but it was short and brief, so it didn’t bother us.
