We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

We have just returned from a weekend away at this beautiful villa for a family weekend away. Beautiful location with spectacular scenery on the drive in. The villa has the wow factor. Home from home, the hosts have thought of everything and we couldn’t think of a single improvement except for a guest book so we could write our positive thoughts and recommendations in person of places to visit in the area for other visitors to read. The kids loved the park, ducks and football court, they also loved reading in the villa and playing board games which were all in the villa to use. Myself and my partner enjoyed walking around the site and spending quality time as a family. We couldn’t recommend this villa or hosts more highly and we thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us so we could make forever memories to treasure. Stephanie, Scott and family 🙏🏻

Had a fantastic stay! Great accommodation and conveniently located to drive into Windermere and Ambleside.

The apartment is as pictured, comfortbale with beautiful views. It was the perfect spot for exploring the Lakes. There is also lots on offer at Whitbarrow Holiday Village making it a great place to stay.

Lovely house in a great location near Lake Windermere. We visited with younger children and there was lots to keep them entertained. Although local play parks and the town of Windermere were not in walking distance to the house, this did not make any difference to our holiday as we would have driven with the children anyway. Brockhole park and estate being a great local spot for the family. The access to the local health spa was a great addition to the house.

Our group of 7 adults and 3 kids really enjoyed our stay. The place was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. It provided the perfect getaway and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely awesome place, the house was lovely and comfortable. It was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and bedding was cleaning. The site facilities were really good and we all loved the pool and jacuzzi after our long days walking. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again

Would 100% recommend staying at the Riverain Coach House. We recently stayed with some friends and enjoyed local walks close to the house, a good selection of local pubs nearby but would recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment. However with Penrith and shops being only 10 minutes away, it wasn't a problem. The house has been done up beautifully and is really well equipped. Christine was great, providing lots of helpful information before our stay and the welcome hamper went down a treat. Thank you so much, we would 100% stay again.

Beatiful and relaxing space, can hold a lot of people without getting on top of each other. Great for large groups of people with plenty of flexibility for gathering and privacy.

Beautiful house in a great location a short walk from Keswick. Modern and high end finish to the house and had everything we needed for our stay. We visit Keswick on a regular basis and this has been one of our best visits yet!

Cottage is just as described. Communication from the host was great. Very detailed instructions which is always useful. Kitchen is very well equipped with lots of utensils and crockery. Extremely comfortable beds! Very peaceful surroundings and lovely neighbours. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

The house was as described. Very quiet on an evening. Great location for walking in the lakes following our walk up Scarfell Pike and Ennerdale. It’s not particularly a tourist location but a great base! All locals really friendly and Everything was expected and described.

We loved our stay at Greg & Steph’s place. We came to Windermere for my 30th birthday and this was the perfect setting for our stay. Every room is lovely and to a high standard. Although you can’t park right outside the house we found free parking just down the road. We messaged Greg & Steph a few times before our trip and they were super responsive and helpful. Great stay- would definitely recommend anyone. Ideal location!

a beautiful home had everyting init, loved the hot tub and games room. it was spotless and so clean. Hosts were always on board and gave so much info and it was reassuring to know they were available if needed. we loved our stay and hopefully will visit again.

We had a fabulous stay here at Alison’s cottage. It was a gorgeous cottage which was spotlessly clean throughout and in a fantastic location. Check in was seamless with a lockbox located just outside the front door, parking was a bonus too and easy to find at the rear of the property. You are within a short walk to restaurants, bars and pubs and about a 10 minute walk (if that) to the marina and lake. Alison was great at responding to any questions and gave us lots of food recommendations. We had such an amazing time here. Our only regret is not booking for a longer period of time as it was honestly so gorgeous! There was also Prosecco and milk left in the fridge and after dinner mints left on the table- such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for having us.

A beautiful house which has been very tastefully renovated, we especially loved the main stairs. Plenty of space and facilities for 8 of us. Efficient log burner which heated the living room very quickly. We stayed over new year and had hoped to see the northern lights, but saw plenty of stars instead. I would advise arriving for the first time in daylight as the road is very narrow with sheep wandering across.

Very happy with our stay, perfect location to stay for going walking in the Lake District and the log heated hot tub was excellent after an early morning of walking! Thank you 🙂

Rosie’s place was definitely one for the list to come back to. It was very clean, warm and had everything you needed. The garden was nice and enclosed so suited our little border terrier well. The decor is lovely, definitely taking a few ideas home … particularly the bathroom. The wood burner was a great cosy addition to come back to after a walk. A great village location, so quiet and peaceful.

Great property in a quiet location on the outskirts of Keswick. House was clean and very spacious and the drive was an added bonus. 20 min walk into Keswick and minutes from the A66. Garden was great to sit after a long day hiking with a cold beer. One of the best Air BnB I've stayed in the Lakes

We had a great family holiday here, beautiful bedrooms, great living space and the hot tub was spot on! It's within walking distance to Windermere and only a 30 min walk down to the pier.

We had a great time staying. Carolines house is lovely and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Throughout our stay there was a problem with hot tub which was out of Caroline's hands but she made sure to compensate with a meal on her which was very much appreciated. Lots of lovely little touches and gifts around the house. Would definitely come back and see this place in the warmer weather thanks for having us.

Amazing 300+ years old Grade-2 listed house with fantastic feel still retained. On top Joyce and Lucy are amazing hosts. My 6 year old even struck up a great conversation with Lucy and they started playing a board game of sorts :-) They always kept us informed, and ensured the house is kept warm all time. Easily accessible to some local villages, the beach and also just half an hour away from the Lake districts. Only point I will make is if they can offer a small kitchen facility that will be great for families. Having said that -it wasn't a problem at all as beverage, cutlery and crockeries were all provided. Plus free milk, juice etc. And we actually enjoyed some wonderful takeaways who deliver within 30 mins. Jasmine Palace - the chinese was great.

Staying at Lorna's place was very nice. The space is warm and cute, it has the essentials. When we arrived we found bread, milk, coffee and tea for us. The bed is comfortable and everything works fine. Thank you for everything Lorna!!
