Absolutely amazing to be right on the water, watching the tide come in & go out, seeing boats & yachts passing by. Peaceful, bushy surrounds blissfully listening to bird life. Clean & comfortable furnishings, & has everything needed (& more) in the kitchen & other living areas both inside & out. Peter & Raisa were communicative, helpful, responsive & lovely hosts. It was great to get out & explore the island with lots of hidden gems, fishing spots, & friendly locals. Catching mud crabs was a bonus with the supplied crab pots. Yum! Great house & location, would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

This is one of those places you want to write an incredible review for - the review it deserves but you don’t want the secret to get out so it doesn’t book out for next time. I cannot fault this place! Waking up for an early morning paddle through the canals to the creek or the surf club for coffee followed by an afternoon by the pool - a perfect day! & if you fish even better - you can enjoy that straight off the pontoon. Absolute bonus - dog friendly with a fully fenced huge yard. Already looking at the next available dates. Laura was so kind and easy to work with. From check in to check out was a seamless process. The cottage is so peaceful and beautiful. It’s like a dream home away from home. I stayed the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids, which was a beautiful place for us to get ready and have photos done for the day and then stayed the night which was extremely special. We will be returning for our 1 year anniversary for a weekend away. Thank you for both for providing such a great stay! ❤️❤️

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Acute Abode. It exceeded our expectations, truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It looks exactly like the photos (if not better) and the property is incredibly peaceful and quiet.

We had a lovely stay at Nigel's place. The pool was the winning thing according to the kids! but Nigel was a fantastic host, Accommodating both early check in and late check out. great knowledge of local shops and walking trails. Highly Recommended.

Good thing about this premise: -waterfront house which we could use the pontoon; -pet friendly; -nice host; and -affordable price because you only use the annex downstairs.

We stayed at Anchor on the Bowsprit for 5 delightful nights. The location of the first floor apartment is perfect - overlooking the canal, surrounded by floral & fauna. The apartment is very well presented and spotlessly clean. It was incredibly well-equipped - especially the kitchen. Bedrooms were of hotel quality and the beds were very comfortable. Karen was very warm and welcoming and responded to any emails very quickly. We would have no hesitation in staying again - or recommending Anchor on the Bowsprit to friends & family.
