Just returned from a long weekend, staying at The Barn at Rotherwood. We were a group of 4 adults (2 couples) and had a great time. The Barn was perfect for us - really comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Debbie was very responsive and left us a really generous welcome hamper for our arrival - thank you Debbie! It was perfectly situated, on the edge of Itchenor, and was easy to get to Chichester, Bosham and the Witterings from there. We would recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Orchard Cottage. New Forest is a place of outstanding beauty and there are so many lovely trails, pubs and activities around. The cottage itself was beautiful! Hot tub and sauna were also an added bonus. Chris was a brilliant host. He made sure we knew what we were doing with the hot-tub and was able to give us plenty of recommendations for what to do/pubs and a brilliant running track. He went the extra mile to make it special for us! Thank you so much :)

Stylishly decorated Homemade jams and granola, honey, yoghurt, and bought-in croissants, tea and coffee left for us Very good log burner Natasha recommended a great pub nearby Slight quibbles- (hyper critical): Shower room a little functional Fair amount of owner's stuff about - e.g material swatches, 'Dad rock' albums and hifi . Overall, I recommend highly.

This is an outstanding, peaceful retreat with top of the line fixtures and fittings. Melanie is very welcoming and friendly and the type of host who thinks of all the small details to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. The bedding and mattress were truly comfortable. The barn is such a beautiful, light space. We were after a quiet retreat in nature, and this was it! Horses, sheep, nesting birds on the doorstep and within very close proximity (5 minute drive) to Haslemere. We spent one day exploring in Winchester, as I'd never been - a great place! Good restaurants, cafés etc and a rich history. We will definitely come back!

We stayed for 6 nights with my daughter and grandchildren. We were lucky with the sunny weather which meant we could get out and enjoy the play area and woods outside the barn. The barn had everything we needed for a great stay and was within easy distance of Beaulieu, Paultons Park and the New Forest National park where there was lots of walking and cycling opportunities. For a family it was an ideal place to stay and Bobbie made us feel very welcome, a real home from home.

Amazing location, just a short distance from Salisbury, very peaceful location. Enjoyed seeing all the animals around the farm. Lovely view of Salisbury Cathedral.

This place was in such a nice area. There's a walk to a pub right outside the house and anything else is just a 10 minute drive away at most. Liz was a great host and told us everything we needed to know and made us feel right at home. We had a lovely time. Thanks Liz.

An absolutely beautiful stay at Deer Barn! we had the dog with us and Paula and her team truly go the extra mile, not only was there a box of treats for us on arrival but also the dog! The walks in the surrounding area were fantastic (all recommended by Cocklebury Farm). Thos property is truly spectacular and you couldn't ask for me in a weekend away in Wiltshire! Thank you so much to everyone at Cocklebury farm! Anyone reading this review needs to book NOW!

We have just spent three nights at Poplar Farm Barns and enjoyed our time hugely. The barns are beautifully renovated with high-end fixtures, fittings and furnishings. Immaculately clean as well. The surroundings are lovely with excellent views from the property. My kids loved the free-roaming chickens, and the horses in the neighbouring field. Holly and Charley were very welcoming and friendly. Everything was just as we’d hoped and our family will definitely return.

We spent a wonderful weekend in this cozy and quiet house. Every detail of the interior reflects the care and love that Shelagh puts into her home and her guests' comfort. She provided fresh homemade eggs, jam, milk, croissants and more for breakfast. She even brought flowers from her garden, which was a delightful touch. In the evenings, we enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace; the provided firewood lasted perfectly for our two-night stay. It's advisable to arrive by car to explore the many local attractions recommended by Shelagh. We, for instance, booked a walk with alpacas, which was a unique experience. We would gladly return and hope to have more time to chat with Shelagh on our next visit. Thank you so much for this wonderful weekend!

We had a lovely few days at Tim and Anna's. The location is absolutely perfect: it is close enough to civilisation to be able to pop to the shops but only a few minutes walk and we were walking in The New Forest with terrific views in abundance. The barns have been lovingly restored in a modern manner - with everything we needed for our stay. We found it incredibly easy to check-in and check-out and Anna and Tim were both very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. All in all, a fantastic few days in lovely accommodation in a beautiful part of the world.

Wonderful stay in Ana's beautiful little cottage. Perfect size for us and our two little ones. Great location and access to New Forest and Paultons Park. Felt very welcome and Ana even baked us some bread! Thank you, would return.

Stayed at Amanda's place for a couple of nights as a family of 4 (children aged 10 & 12). From the moment we got there, everything was simple and inviting. Check in was easy and when we got in there was a lovely selection of essentials and treats - the homemade marmalade was delicious! The sofa bed was really easy to use. Had expected to just keep it down as a bed to save time and effort but it was so simple we put it up and down each day. Great little location with plenty of bits nearby to do (we visited Paultons and Ninja Warrior) and some nice places to eat. Took Amanda's advice to check out the Rising Sun down by the water and were glad we did. Would happily stay again.

Couldn’t fault the accommodation. It has everything you need for a self catering break with a clean, modern and luxurious feel. Completely self contained, but within the security and comfort of a private gated home. Wonderful location for easy access to the coastal path for incredible views and relaxing manageable walks to lovely pubs and restaurants making it the perfect weekend retreat. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and the hosts were on hand to depart their local knowledge of the area to ensure you make the most of your stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at the beautifully designed Granary, which was beyond what we expected. The well-curated decor, gorgeous houseplants and books made the space so special and inviting. Steve and his family were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience. Even the host’s pets and the neighbor’s horse were so friendly, adding to the charm. Our 3 year old loved it! Highly recommend for a peaceful and inspiring getaway.

A stunning home from home. Gorgeous countryside all around and a lovely enclosed private garden. The barn is beautifully decorated, with really personal touches. Breakfast and essentials provided. Comfortable and just a total delight. Anna was helpful, responsive and courteous at all times. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Stayed for 3 nights and it was the perfect get away. Sally was great communicating and always happy to help. The house was nice, clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Located in the peaceful countryside but with great pubs/restaurant and the seaside nearby. would definitely recommend!

Such a lovely home, we didn't want to leave! Hosts were excellent communicators and also very warm and kind people. Loved our walks along the canal and peaceful surroundings. We will be back!
