This place was perfect. Large deck overlooked nice woods, a pond, and you could see Mt. Hood in the distance. Living room was big and comfortable. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, lots of pots, and even small appliances to making cooking easy. Parking was right there. Every thing was new and in working order. The decor was mountain rustic cool. My favorite thing was that the living room and kitchen were arranged to make the most of the view. Warm throws for coziness, nice colors in the rugs and walls. Lots of attention to comfort and detail. Seemed in the middle of nowhere but actually close to stores and amenities. Very quiet and peaceful.

We chose Kim and Pat’s place over the closest hotel in the area where we were attending a family wedding and are so glad we did. Their place was private, charming, and well equipped and the cost was about the same as the local hotel. It felt like we really got to enjoy a weekend getaway in spite of being out at family activities for most of the time. Would happily stay again.

I highly recommend staying at Jennifer’s place. I have stayed here before and would love to stay here again in the future. The cottage is cozy yet spacious. There was plenty of room for me and my sister staying there. I love the backyard garden. The rhododendrons were in bloom and you could see them from the big window and French doors. It’s a nice neighborhood with so many restaurants and stores walkable. Also to note is I took public transport to and from the airport and the bus stop was literally just down the street. Enjoy 👍

What a spot! A beautiful, private spot on the most beautiful street along the Willamette. I swear there were more people running and walking on our road than cars driving. Everything we needed was a quick drive or healthy walk - what a wonderful place to be in the Lake Oswego area! Ana and Gino were excellent hosts who communicated well and made us feel at home!

Lovely place allows easy access to the snow. Within 1/2 hour we were at Trillium Lake, closer yet to Government Camp! Lovely peaceful surrounding.

We picked the location because it was close to my mom's house, where our family had gathered for the holidays so we did not spend a lot of time in the cabin. The kitchen was well equipped and there was on site laundry - always a bonus! As it rained the entire time we were there, we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the deck and back yard, which would have been a lovely place in the Portland dry season. On the plus side, the location was secluded and very quiet. The only challenging things were the driveway because it is steep downhill from the road and the steps down to the cottage have no handrails, which my 88 year old mom would have needed. Nora was gracious, friendly, and very responsive.

I had a great stay in Lois's guest house. Located alongside a beautiful creek the guesthouse was peaceful, comfortable and very conveniently located a few miles away from the local tec center. Lois was a very friendly and easy host to communicate with and I will certainly be staying here again in the future if in the area.

It was truly a lovely stay. It was peaceful and scenic, and Emily was very responsive and concise. She would check in to make sure our stay was going positively and was never imposing. Gracious and kind. We found the natural overgrowth of the forest in the area to be magical and serene. Though we didn’t explore all the offered amenities there were several to choose from if exploring outside of the cabin was desired. We plan on returning so we can experience it again, and also enjoy the amenities that we didn’t make time for because the coziness of the cabin was so lulling. I was concerned about the outhouse, but it was the nicest outhouse I’ve ever used as a regular camper. The wood fireplace was cute and easy to start, and Emily offered to assist with lighting it if I had trouble. She had already set it up and made it super easy to take care of on my own. We can’t wait to try some of their wine and explore their orchards, pick ripe fruit from their gardens, and enjoy the hot tub!

My partner and I loved that the location was set back from the street, and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. Madison and Cody's place was very clean, well decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our short trip. This was our first trip to Portland but not certainly not our last, and when we come back we will try to book this place again!

Beautiful place to stay! It was hard to tear myself away from sitting on the porch with the glorious view of Mt. Hood. Inside, the place is clutter-free/tidy, spacious, and cozy. Hosts provide clear and proactive instructions, I was always prepared with info about check-in and check-out with no confusion about the process. Fantastic location (in addition to the view) it provided a good balance of access to both Portland and the mountains/nature.

We were welcomed with music and warmth as we stepped into Olesya's guest house. It was a great place to stay as we traveled to see different family members over the holidays. Olesya was very responsive and especially helpful after a power outage when the water pump needed to be reset early in the morning. My family would be excited to stay here again. Thank you Olesya!

The cabin was perfect for a long weekend getaway with my husband and I! Lovely little space and super cozy! Everything was really nice!

Our stay at Robbin’s Nest was nothing short of the best ! From the lovely, private and peaceful apartment and backyard, to the kindness and friendliness of our host and her husband! Dru was very responsive and eager to help! She kindly left notes around the apartment to assist with any questions. We had a group of 3 stay and the pull down futon was very cozy with the foam provided. We will definitely be back 🤍

Rhonda’s place met and exceeded every expectation. It is actually even nicer than the photos, which is rare! The little house is darling, very comfortable & immaculately clean. The location is beautiful, I saw deer in the front yard! Though the place is private & seems rural, you are literally a short walk to Trader Joe’s and many other stores & restaurants. Everything was in perfect working order and there was nothing that I needed that wasn’t provided. I will definitely be back! Thank you, Rhonda!

Great stay! The place was clean and comfortable. Host was friendly and responsive. Loved the drive and the view!

The unit looked like the photos. It was quiet and perched up in the woods. They had snacks, coffee, etc. It was sufficient for what I needed for a few days.

We loved our stay at Owl’s Nest. Just a short drive to Lewis & Clark, it was easy to get there for our campus visit. The running trail right by the house was perfect for a quick job. Nice walk to Sellwood District restaurants. Very cute area. The Portland Bottle Shop was a nice casual place for dinner and a glass of wine. The flowers outside the cottage were beautiful. And the guidebook has a wonderful walking tour map for fun things to see throughout Sellwood.

If you're looking for country side house this is perfect place. Great property and my dog absolutely loved running around.

The Empty Nest is my go-to in the Portland area. Robert is a great host with proactive communication. If there’s anything you need, he’s there. The place is comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked. It’s one of those places you can feel at home.

The bathroom is definitely the centerpiece, with heated floors, a large walk in rain shower, makeup lighting on the mirror, and a full length mirror. The back patio is large and great for entertaining

This was a great place to stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom stayed nice and dark, our two main requirements :) In addition to that, the instructions for where to park, how to navigate the back yard, and how to get into the house were very detailed and helpful. Everything was exactly as we expected it. We would definitely stay again.

Comfortable easy place to stay. I don't know I have the best insight cause I just slept there and showered there and did nothing really else. Connie is responsive and a great host! Easy to find and comfortable

Kara’s cottage was lovely! Very clean and well appointed. The location was easy to find and very private. Very comfortable and cozy for our late March stay. She gave great instructions and was quick to reply when we had questions.
