What an amazing place! This was perfect for us and our two young children. After a day of travel, the hot tub was a welcomed way to relax. The kids loved it too; something they were looking forward to after sight seeing. The second night we experienced a typical Scottish weather day, especially windy and wet, so the fireplace was in high demand. And the views just breathtaking. Although we didn’t have time to utilize, it was a surprise to have both washer and dryer available on site. Everything you need to enjoy your remote getaway. Highly recommend!

One of the loveliest places we've ever stayed! Superb and spacious accommodation, beautifully decorated and really well & thoughtfully equipped - it will *exceed* your expectations. With the sauna and hot tub, it's not easy to drag yourself out of the house! And to top it off, the view across the loch is utterly mesmerising. Vivienne was a great host, letting us know everything we needed and leaving a lovely welcome pack. The house is in a peaceful location that is still handy for the main road and great for interesting local walks .... if you can drag yourself away! Can't recommend highly enough 😊

Roskhill cottage is awesome. We spent 5 nights here and made our stay truly special. The house have everything you may need and more, the beautiful view and garden filled with flowers, the BBQ hut it’s a great plus, comfortable beds, impeccable clean, good size bathroom and shower, close to little groceries stores, delicious bakery and good coffee, Dunvegan Castle and gardens and fantastic walkings around, plus gorgeous Coos cows! Really worthy place. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic cottage stay - most peaceful place we've ever been! Plenty of local walks/outdoor activities, and had helpful local suggestions from the hosts. Only regret was only staying a few days!

Niall was super helpful and responsive. Great location to explore the islands. Could watch sunset from garden each evening. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Hot showers. Town nearby had good supermarkets and lovely bays.

This will be lengthy because it was so amazing. We stay in lots of places across the US, Mexico, and Canada and this one might be my all time favorite. The view is stunning! There really are no suitable words to describe it. Additionally it is completely private with the exception of the cows and sheep which is another perk. We got to witness some border collie work a few times moving the livestock which was such a treat. The home itself is exactly as pictured but somehow better. Your every need and wish has been anticipated and every detail is very thoughtfully executed. Location is within an hour of anything you might want to see but the village itself has some gems. We enjoyed the cafe and the old school restaurant as well as the local small grocer. This is truly a magical place but coupled with such a fantastic home and thoughtful touch made it so much more unforgettable.

We loved our little cottage getaway on Isle of Skye. This cottage met all of our needs and was in a stunning location. Was perfect for a quiet, cosy few days.

Great little house in an absolutely gorgeous location—the perfect base for exploring Uist. Rhonda was an excellent host, regularly contacting us with any updates and ensuring that we had everything we needed. Hope to be back soon!

The house was beautiful and homey. It was clean and comfortable and the views were amazing. The hosts were extremely responsive and we had a lovely experience. It was a good location to see sights while being a little out of the way of the town. We would absolutely recommend.

A lovely cottage situated in a beautiful quiet location with only the birds and deer as neighbours. The cottage was warm and the bed very comfy. Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of books and DVDs to watch in the evenings once the sun had gone down. A lovely cottage if you want peace and tranquillity. We were also blessed with fantastic weather and we were able to sit outside and enjoy watching the wildlife.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits et 3 jours au number 4 et ce fut un réel plaisir. L’arrivé avec la boîte à clef est très facile. Le logement est très chaleureux, bien décoré. La vue depuis le salon est splendide ! Le logement est très bien situé par rapport aux diverses attractions. A environ 20 min en voiture du sentier Quairing, et juste à côté du sentier pour les fairy Glenn. Vous avez aussi d’autres randonnées très jolies à moins de 10 min en voiture. Vous avez une station d’essence et une épicerie à 15 min et la ville de Portree se situe à environ 35 min. Nous sommes donc ravis de notre séjour sur Skye.

The house was fabulous, the pictures don’t do it credit. Top quality furnishings. Small problem with thermostat - sent a message - next door came in and sorted, it was just the batteries. We will return,

All we had to do was turn up, and Claire had already provided thoughtful and very useful local recommendations, clear instructions on how to access the property, and we felt at home right away. It's clear to see just how much love she has put into the property, and having stayed in my fair share of Airbnbs, it's rare that you find a property like this which truly feels like a home away from home. The decor and amenities are all top quality, and Claire even reached out to make sure we had all the firewood we'd need when the cold weather rolled in! I've sent the link to this cottage to all my friends and family, so fingers crossed they haven't snapped it up the next time we'll inevitably visit! Claire and Phil are exemplary hosts, and our stay at the cottage made our trip all the more magical.

Returning to Harris, where we had our honeymoon 25 years ago, has been wonderful. It was everything we remembered but it seemed even more beautiful this time. Staying at Quillers Cottage was perfect, giving us independence to come and go as we wanted. The house has been decorated beautifully and has lots of interesting art and furniture not forgetting the Harris tweed curtains and blinds. We ate in every night and the kitchen worked well. Anke’s cottage on Barra is a slice of heaven. Dubbed “Barradise”, the island’s beauty, wild yet peaceful, is breathtaking. We enjoyed several hikes, each offering stunning views and serenity. The cottage, while a bit cold due to the season, was made warm by Anke’s care. She provided extra heaters and a kind partial refund for unnoticed storm damage. It’s cozy, with a special charm and an amazing sea view, offering magical sunrises. Can’t wait to return to this cozy haven!

Lovely little apartment behind the B&B, secluded and private but we were made to feel very welcome. Great facilities, enjoyed our stay here, particularly spotting rabbits in the garden, and the cosy living room fire.

Thank you Ann. It was such a restful retreat for us staying in your lovely cottage. We could feel the charm of generations living there through time and yet it was clean and spacious and cosy, just right for us. The loch, sea otters, seals and endless sky were our companions and we just loved nestling away and catching up on good rest. The island has so much to explore, we may very well be back... thank you for welcoming us with a phone call too, we felt very tended.

A great stay on the Isle of Skye, especially for self-catering. The cottage is clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay.

We truly could not have asked for a better place than Bridge Cottage for our stay on Skye. The location was perfect with Portree about a 10 min drive and Uig about 15-20 minutes. It was also very convenient to get to Storr and St. Columba Isle. The cottage had everything we needed and it was so clean and cozy, we were sad to leave!

Great place to stay. The house is homely, has lovely views and is located in beautiful surroundings. Very quite and peaceful with ample parking space. The pThe checkin was very smooth and Wendy had shared detailed directions for navigation to the property which was helpful. We would stay here again.
