Great little flat, with lots of charecter. Easy to find and park. Loved the shop idea, we were eating buffet at a party later that night so did not want a big tea, we thought lets get settled at the flat then nip for food, well we did not have to as Alison had supplied us with lots of freebies plus a well stocked freezer and cupboard with food to buy, a little shop in the flat, amazing idea. Will Definitely stay again

We had an issue accessing our previous air BnB that we had booked. I found this place and contacted the host Trevor to explain our situation and to ask if he could help. His place wasn’t quite ready for guests but he went round there and had it ready for us within an hour. Really went above and beyond to ensure that we weren’t left stranded. Very friendly service and a lovely find, the accommodation was perfect. Excellent service. We are very grateful that we found a great last minute booking with a lovely host. Thank you Trevor

Andrew was an exceptional host! The place was even more spacious and cozy than the photos suggested, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Andrew went above and beyond—he kindly added a full-length mirror to one of the bedrooms just for our stay (which was perfect for getting ready for a family wedding), and he even managed to arrange an extra parking pass for us. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches—he provided cereal, water, milk, tea, biscuits, and croissants. It was a truly lovely and comfortable stay. I’d absolutely book here again. Thank you, Andrew, for your generous hospitality!

Had a great long Bank Holiday weekend in Herdwick Heft..The apartment is small yet cosy..clean..modern and had everything we needed for our 3 day getaway.The accommodation is situated right in the heart of lovely Ambleside with all its attractions..great views from the bedroom too and the bonus of a parking space.Communications with Amanda was excellent with a smooth check in..we could highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Wir haben uns in Paulines Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Ausstattung war super, alles war sauber und die Lage top! Der Ausblick ist definitiv das Highlight und war sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern. :) Grade für 2 Pärchen bietet die Wohnung ausreichend Platz und Privatsphäre. Die Kommunikation mit Pauline war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.

Although Phil was unable to greet us at the property, he sent very easy to follow and clear instructions on how to enter which was very useful. The property was very clean and like home from home, had everything you could possibly need and had very clear directions and pointers on arrival and departure. We had to message Phil just the once and he was quick to respond and remained polite throughout. Would absolutely recommend!

Gary was very good with communication. We had a problem with the microwave whilst we were there and it was sorted out within the hour. The apartment was very clean and tidy. It was a short walk to the bus. plenty of parking at the weekend too. Thank you Gary, I would highly recommend 👌

Nick was very helpful at all times, very quick responding to any questions I had! Very easy to find, easy to get in and out of rooms with the instructions. The 2 separate rooms worked really well for us! Lovely stay and great location

Stayed over for a few nights for a business trip. host was super friendly apartment was clean and looked just like the photos. Kitchen came fully equipped even left me milk and coffee. No problems whatsoever will book again 👍

We went to see Antony Gormley’s Another Place Lynne’s place is less than 5 minutes from the beach where the statues are. Perfect location for us and we were blessed with great weather

Thanks Gary for a very comfortable couple of days and thank you for your very quick response and being able to accommodate us at short notice, it was very much appreciated. The apartment was lovely and nice to relax in after a full day’s trekking.

My fiancée, our dog and I stayed with Liz for 3 nights recently. We absolutely adored the property, it was lovely and peaceful, it has wonderful surroundings and it is very peaceful. Liz is a lovely lady, although we didn’t meet with her during our stay, she was always on hand to help us with any questions that we might have had. The property is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic after a day of walking in the sun. Our dog, Mabel, was very happy too. There was plenty of space for her to explore and there is plenty of great walks, such as Ingleton Falls, which isn’t a long drive away. We had no issues with the property, or Liz, and we felt incredibly welcomed. We really appreciate your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to stay with you again in the future. Thank you ever so much again.

Had a lovely couple of nights away, beautiful and peaceful location. Chrissy was super friendly and helpful, will be looking to stay again. Couldn’t recommend more.

Lovely stay, in a nice private area but not too far from the local village with cute little pubs. Would definitely stay again, only fault was that all the plants attracted little flys everywhere and the skylights are beautiful but would definitely take an eye mask to avoid being woken up early.

My best friend and I of 21 years, hadn’t had a girls sleepover just us in the last decade! I booked this for us to have a well deserved break and girly time, it was just perfect. We felt so special, the lodge is beautiful, so quaint and cute. The surroundings are stunning, it was just perfect for us. Hot tub was amazing and all the little details around the lodge were too. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we’d love to come again one day.

I'm so glad I found this bolt hole. it's gorgeous. private setting, lovely gardens, hot tub and a stunning view for sunsets. Lovely clean place, the beds are so comfortable. All mod cons. worth the money as it's got everything you need and more. we will be back. many thanks.
