Beautiful, peaceful spot, on the beach with beautiful river view, miles of hiking trails literally a few steps away. Just a gorgeous spot to enjoy Autumn. The house is lovely, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Hosts are very responsive. We had a wonderful week here. Highly recommend!

Easy check in and convenient spot close to Byward Market. Loved the open plan layout which made for easy cooking and great conversations. Park was nearby for kids and dogs to play! One dedicated parking spot for easy access to the house and unpacking. Would come back for sure!

What a great find this place is! John was super communicative and check in was very easy. The fenced in yard was perfect for our 2 dogs. Very clean and cozy space, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need. Location was super convenient as well. Would stay here again!

This stay was absolutely incredible for a romantic getaway. My partner and I spent 4 nights here in February. The location is very private, with stunning views and lots of nature sounds. The amenities were fantastic- everything we could have needed was there. A large fridge and lots of cooking utensils/cookware were present for our use. We made use of the hot tub every night- the host provides a how-to guide for it as well. The woodstove is a lovely addition on cooler nights, as well as for ambiance. My only critique would be once it gets dark out, the lighting inside is quite minimal. We were working on a puzzle and found it hard to see once it got darker outside. All in all, a fantastic location (we stayed here surrounding our visit to the Nordik spa) and really responsive and helpful hosts. Thanks again!!

Nouvel emplacement pour moi , wow j’ai adoré ! Hôtes très accueillants et chaleureux. Même le p’tit chien est fullll cute ! L’endroit était parfait , bien rangé , très propre , super fonctionnel avec tout c’qui faut . Petites attentions, café & chocolats c était très sympathique. We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The children loved the pool and the adults all welcomed the evening hot tub. The flower gardens and pots are stunning. Thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts. We were very spoiled! Our 2 families had a FABULOUS time whilst at Paul's lovely home! Plenty of bedrooms and common areas so that we never felt like we were on top of each other, even during a wickid snowstorm. 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 wee ones were never bored - the spacious indoor pool was the clincher for a perfect winter getaway - not to mention hottub and sauna were huge hits as well for the older, tired and aching bodies. The gourmet kitchen was full of technology that made our lives easier. Paul supplied a hutch chock full of games, both video and board - something for everyone. When we had questions, Paul was super responsive and even came down to help us with a few things. We wouldn't hesitate for a second to book with Paul again - no complaints whatsoever!! Thank you for a memorable Family Day long weekend!!

From the moment I inquired about their house, they were very responsive and accommodating to our needs. We had a prolonged stay to watch World Juniors hockey and had two families staying at the house. It was great that the basement had two bedrooms and a full bath with their own living room. It helps to have your own space sometimes! Every amenity and kitchen tool you can think of was available. The hot tub was a great addition after we booked! Everything was clean when we got there and very easy to checkin. The craft room was a great feature! There was a great selection of games to choose from as well! Would highly recommend staying here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Description and instructions were very detailed. They had everything ready for us (welcome snacks, coffee, towells, etc.). Would definitely go back there. Awesome spot

Josseline was a great host, keeping me informed of snow clearing plans during a blizzard and offering assistance if required, without being in any way intrusive. Her AirBnB was lovely and bright, private and convenient. The entire place was clean and comfortable and is a perfect size for one or two to relax or work in.

We really enjoyed our stay at Camille's. He is a wonderful host, very accommodating, easy to communicate with. Highly recommend his home for anyone visiting Ottawa. Great location, quiet neighborhood. Lovely spot!

Notre séjour as été confortable et reposant. Les lits étaient très confortable, les lieux étaient très propres et l'hôte était réactive rapidement. Nous avons vécu un incident lors de notre départ car notre voiture ne démarrait pas. Anik nous as rassurer que nous pouvions demeurer à l'interieur au chaud en attendant de l'aide. Merci Anik!

We had a great 4 week stay at Stacie and Diane's home! They were great hosts who were very responsive to our queries and the home was exactly as per the photos and description.

This property has it all! Wonderful layout (the main cottage is separated from the sleeping areas, so people who wish to stay up late and enjoy libations and games - can and will not disturb others) A beautiful indoor/outdoor space with a fireplace and an incredible view. All the bedrooms overlook the lake, and the sunrise is truly breathtaking. The cottage also has easy-to-use wireless speakers, all the kitchen tools and supplies are top notch. And the dining & lounge spaces make this cottage feel like a mansion. I cannot wait to stay again, what a truly wonderful experience. 5 stars for sure!

Had an amazing stay! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the place was super peaceful and cozy. Perfect spot to just chill and unwind. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with some incredible scenery. Erica is a great host!
