We came this weekend for a snow tubing trip to River Riders. There were 5 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all! The fenced in backyard was perfect and everyone enjoyed the hot tub, even in the freezing temps. The old house is super cute and has some unique qualities. It was clean, plenty of towels and everything needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast, lunches and dinners! No issues were encountered at all and we will be back in the Spring for river tubing! Highly recommended.

Perfect location for a women’s wellness retreat! The ladies are already asking when we can come back. Plenty of spaces big and small to facilitate us, both as a group as well as individuals looking to relax and recharge. Having two kitchens was nice for feeding such a big group, and the heated saltwater pool was the cherry on top!

This place was a slice of heaven for those who like to get away from the hustle and bustle but still be close to activities. The manor is a stunning historic home for those who appreciate history and the little touches of old. The views and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Fully stocked inised and out with everything you could need. Plenty of bedroom space and bathrooms to accommodate a large party. The outdoor fireplace and pizza oven was a relaxing touch for a cool weekend. The manor is within minutes of several wineries, breweries, and downtown Harper's Ferry which offers numerous local shops, restaurants, hiking, and water activities. Will definitely book again! Thank you to the wonderful host who was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend!

We loved our stay. The house is great for a larger group. Wonderful living space and fun game room! Having a hot tub was also a plus. The location is wonderful and is very private. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nicole's place is simply one of the best, if not, the best place we've stayed thus far. It felt truly like home away from home and in some ways, better than home. We had a party of 8 registered to stay and the place was large enough and varied enough to provide rooms and spaces where we didn't have to be on top of one another. The amenities were amazing to have access to, although, with our short time there for a wedding and inclement weather we were not able to take full advantage of. Nicole was communicative, and patient, and generous. We hope to revisit the area some day when we have more time and if so, we hope Nicole's place will be an option for us. It will be the first place we look!

Absolute peaceful oasis. This home gives you every essence of Virginia Wine Country. The home was quaint and the deer came up every morning to greet us. I can’t wait to come back in the summer when the pool is open! Thanks again

Our group had an amazing time at Bryan and Cathy’s! The place had beautiful amenities (indoor pool, poker table, pool table, air hockey, fire pit) and was so great to stay at! Can’t recommend this place enough

Stayed in Pat’s place for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect. I don’t think we’ve stayed in any other place as well-prepared for guests—it had everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. The property was just as beautiful as the pictures and was like a home away from home. Pat was also a great host from the time booked until checkout, providing plenty of local recommendations and checking in to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommended!

Incredibly peaceful home secluded away from the hustle & bustle of the city with a nice view and deck with fireplace and grill, and great views from the living room. The house itself appears to be brand new, and had everything we could’ve needed. Extremely clean and everything worked well. Highly recommended!

Amazing house, gorgeous, comfortable, amenities and commodities way above description. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. We had a wonderful time with the family; all from 8 to 80 enjoyed every day to the max. On top, absolutely wonderful-top-of-shelf hostess. Don’t think twice, just go!

Our group enjoyed our stay here! The house was the perfect size and a very cozy place for a nice small mountain town getaway. We loved being so close to Main Street and places to hike.

We had a lovely time, a memorable weekend and a very interesting experience indeed. And with all the animals, including the young pups, the children were more than occupied and not hooked on their devices. John was a very gracious host and showed us the works before he left for the weekend. Overall it was great that he was comfortable with us having day guests for a celebration weekend at the farm. As a working farm, it took us some getting used to in the beginning. But the pups, cats, tortoises and more had us enthralled. The whole group felt it was truly a weekend to remember - we will be talking about the fun time we had for a long time to come. Looking forward to seeing the end result of the exciting renovations to come in the dining room and kitchen to make them more functional.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage, it was very peaceful and there are plenty of things to do and see around the area. This was my second time staying here and I would definitely recommend it to any friends and family who need a place to stay in the area. Liz and Teri are great at communicating and responding to any questions. This time around, I accidentally locked us out on a sunday, and Liz saved the day and could not have been nicer when doing so.

Nice place for a family stay. It’s a quirky old house with a lot of charm. We enjoyed the games and the sauna.

David's place met all of my expectations and more. The home had a great layout and tons of amenities including a Olympic-sized game room downstairs. All of the beds were really comfortable and the spaces were clean and free of clutter. The description of the property is clear but guests should be aware that the driveway is steep and an AWD vehicle is helpful. However once you're up that driveway, you're living in luxury on the mountain. David was also a great host with helpful instructions and clear communication. Would love to return one day.

We absolutely loved our stay. The place was private and quaint making it for the perfect escape for a long weekend. We will definitely recommend to others and will return as well.

The house was perfect for our family Middleburg weekend stay. It was clean, cozy, well stocked, and centrally located. The tavern across the street was so convenient and added a local feel. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

This was our second stay here and it was, as expected, phenomenal. Beautiful surroundings and absolutely pristine. Grateful for Elizabeth’s hospitality and responsiveness!!

The house is beautifull! Crystal is really responsive and nice. The check in was really easy. We were welcomed with a clean and cozy home. There were chocolates for our arrival, that my young daughter loved. There was bulletin board with a bunch of recommended food places and there was a welcome sign that my family thought was really nice. Overall a great stay
