Greg’s place is exactly what we’d hoped it would be; beautiful setting, quaint, quiet, fully appointed, clean, comfy, close to town, and if you’re lucky you’ll get tons of puppy love from Nemo, the resident ambassador of goodwill. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas stay so that we could be closely located to our daughter’s home in Purcellville, and completely at home in your home.

This was the perfect home base for a weekend of traveling from Harpers Ferry to Leesburg and everywhere in-between. It was very quiet and peaceful at the property with lots of wildlife in the area. The apartment felt cozy and the bed was very comfortable! We loved all of the recommendations in the Host Guidebook that we visited. Our favorite places outside the guide book were Bear Chase Brewing and Flying Ace Distillery! If you happen to head down towards Leesburg, BKD bagels had a great selection of breakfast sandwiches.

We had a lovely time at the loft! Kim was sweet and very good with communication. The space was perfect for our little Bachelorette weekend. Great antique store across the street and coffee shop down the road.

The place was charming, well stocked and very comfortable. The communication was great and we would definitely rent again.

If you're looking for a spot in the woods, within earshot of a babbling brook, this is a lovely option. Although some noise/movement from the upstairs neighbors is audible (this is a basement/back of house property) this didn't bother me. Reagan and Donnie are lovely humans and very accommodating hosts. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone who's looking for a rural stay in Waterford.

We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. The home is directly on the Potomac river with beautiful river views. The home is a split duplex and you have an adorable apartment all to yourself with a wood fireplace, 2 bedrooms, walk in shower, and direct access to the hot tub overlooking the water. You barely notice the upstairs apartment other than the occasional sounds of footsteps above. All tvs are smart tvs with steaming capability. The hosts are very friendly and have excellent restaurant recommendations! This is a hidden gem and a great deal!

Robert's retreat is exactly what our family needed to get away from our ticky-tacky suburban lifestyle. Our dog could run free as could our kids. Yes it was colder/wetter than we hoped and being from the south put as at odds with nature but we enjoyed the wonderful wide open out doors in small sprints. From walking the hanging foot bridge over and over to teaching my girls to cast and reel their first rod. We lit a fire the first night and the negative ions had the effect i had hoped for. My kids read and relaxed for bedtime. Robert is the epitome of "hospitality " always a few minutes away via chat to answer questions and provide guidance. I did learn that the Airbnb policy indicates that it is incumbent on the renter to provide their own firewood. Robert was gracious enough to supply wood for our first night but something you should consider logistically if staying more than a day during winter. We look forward to enjoying Robert's retreat again. Clan Milligan

Beautiful views from almost every window! Just spending time sitting on the back porch looking at the mountains with a coffee or glass of wine was the highlight of our trip. The house is very spacious and well maintained. There are two floors that offer almost two private living quarters. The location is an easy 15-30 minutes from the Shenandoah National Park, Caverns and wineries! Highly recommend!

This was our second visit to one of Frank's many properties and his high standards are reflected in the care he takes and feels for his homes. Our stay at "Overlook" was fun, relaxing and peaceful. Some highlights: -hot tub was one of the best we've seen (large, clean, good jets and in a great location). -home layout is well thought out -kitchen is stocked -extra 1/2 bath (not pictured) in awesome mudroom/laundry area -very comfy couches, sitting areas and beds -outdoor fire pits and indoor gas fireplace -nice dock -privacy and the ability to walk all over the expansive property, including along the river (there are some steep hills giving you the great views, but nothing crazy) -the scenic views from the big windows in the house We went during a flash snowstorm in December... can't imagine how much fun a summer or spring visit would be! We would definitely book again. Great gracious hosts! Thank you.

I took my 4 year old daughter, Husband, and 2 dogs for a very last minute graduation celebration getaway and it was beautiful. Scenic views, SO peaceful, backyard was amazing and the little touches and. amenities were so cozy! Adam was pleasant and responsive and so kind. We talked about making this an annual getaway because we loved it so much! Highly recommend!

Cute cabin and not too far out from the city! Loved the privacy of the space and it looked exactly like the photos. Host was very communicative and responsive and amenities were accurate! A few minor “Cons”… 2 full bathrooms but one of them is inside the main room upstairs and the downstairs bathroom door doesn’t close so you either have to hold it shut while using the bathroom or put the trash can to hold the door close. I wished the snow/ice was removed from walkways and outdoor amenities so we could enjoy them! We ended buying salt to put down for the walkway to the home as it was as we didn’t have the most balanced group lol. Would’ve definitely appreciated if they took care of that beforehand. There was a significant amount of dog hair on the living room rug which was bothersome for one of my friends who had allergies but we vacuumed which helped. Overall great place to stay and will keep this place on my list for future staycations 🤗

Vihari's home is welcoming and warm. This home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was stunning and fully stocked, making it easy to cook and entertain. We loved the game room—it was such a fun bonus! Everything was spotless and super spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to unwind. The hot tub was the cherry on top—perfect for soaking under the stars. Can’t wait to come back!

Home was really beautiful and looked just like the photos. Location was convention and easy to find. Check in was very straight forward. Karen was very responsive, there was a small issue with the AC the first day and she was able to get it sorted out right ASAP. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay, would highly recommend.
