I have stayed in this building frequently and this is one of the best apartments that I have enjoyed here. The host was fantastic, she went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and convenient. The location is superb, with the best of Auckland at your doorstep. Highly recommended!

Such a great spot to catch your breath relax and enjoy the scenery with home comforts and thoughtful extras

It truly is a beautiful spot, the view is stunning, the only thing between you and Australia is some bush, the beach and ocean. The privacy is practically absolute, it's serene with fantastic bush and birds visiting. On arriving the street is unique in that the numbers start high, going low, the carparks are great, but first time hard to see in the dark. The walk(steps) goes up about 30m ( 10 stories ), through beautiful bush and silver ferns. The house is very private, beautiful wood ( the outside is deceptive ), upstairs there are windows either side of the house with insect screens, that open cool upstairs nicely. It's relatively basic, but functional, you really pay for the view, privacy and some of the freshest air in NZ. If your happy with a decent walk up, a quaint house, the reward is a stunning location. To sit and watch the ocean, surfers and listen to the birdlife was magical.

Thoughtful hosts, wonderful property

This has to be our best Airbnb experience yet and we’ve had some good ones. The cottage is everything we’d hoped for and more, beautifully presented and well equipped. A pleasure to stay in. Our hosts were just as lovely too!

Had a fabulous weekend at Piha - Kirsty was a great host, great communication, flexible checkin and some lovely goodies waiting for us on our arrival. The place is great with fabulous views and bed and linen super comfortable and high quality.

Had a lovely stay at Kathy’s place. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and really enjoyed the view from the dining area. Kathy was very helpful and kind. Weather had us changing plans but hope to come back in the future!

Wonderful stay with wonderful host. Host was really friendly and provided great suggestions for Auckland touring. The location was quiet but close to fun restaurants. The unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed with nice linens. Everything you might need in kitchen, bath and closet. Lots of nice hangers in closet- my pet peeve. Like staying at a nice resort. Highly recommended.

Due to a mistake with Airbnb, I had to check out later than expected but Gali was more than welcoming and accommodating. A kind, friendly and interesting host. Great location to walk down to the beach, or just hang out on the balcony and take in the views. Gorgeous, can’t wait to come back.

Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!! Die Unterkunft ist eine 15 min. Fährenfahrt von Auckland entfernt. Zum Devonport Ferry Terminal geht man ungefähr 20 min. zu Fuß. Die Zeit vergeht jedoch sehr schnell da der Weg direkt am Meer entlang geht. Der „Cheltenham Beach“ Strand ist vielleicht 50m von der Unterkunft entfernt, perfekt für entspannte Abende am Meer. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sauber, mit frisch renoviertem Bad und schönem Wohnzimmer mit sensationellem Ausblick zum Meer. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es war alles wirklich sehr sauber! Nun zu den Besitzern der Unterkunft. Bruce und Karen sind mit Abstand die nettesten Airbnb Hosts die ich bisher kennenlernen durfte. Nicht zu aufdringlich und immer extrem hilfsbereit und fürsorglich. Ich kann das Airbnb jedem herzlich empfehlen!

we had the best time at this family friendly location

Robyn’s place is quiet, well equipped, and she was very responsive to our needs. We especially appreciated the books and videos. Each morning we awoke to a lovely view of the water off the deck. Couldn’t have been happier with the rental.

Great family stay for three generations. Local beaches are close by and all amenities you could need are not far by car. Shops for essentials are within easy walking distance. Something to do in all weathers

Karen is an exceptional host. Superior communication skills, friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. This was my second stay. The location, on the beach at Browns Bay, is without peer. Beautiful, numerous shops, restaurants and activities. Highly recommend.

Pam is a genuinely stellar host ... providing a quality experience reminiscent of the early days of Airbnb, even providing a homemade welcome treat. The apartment is exactly as described, beautiful, comfortable, and very thoughtfully appointed. Just steps from a neighborhood beach, you can hear the waves crashing from your bed. Walk 10 lovely minutes along a coastal path and you're in Brown's Bay, with a grocery store and wide variety of shops and restaurants to enjoy. I've stayed in Airbnbs all over the world, and Pam's place is one of my very favorites. If you get the chance to book here -- do it!

This place is the most amazing Muriwai accommodation. Seeing the beach and surf report right from the balcony was a real treat! But the home and soroundings are also so beautiful and welcoming. We live nearby in Auckland and already had what we needed with us but Clare made sure we know she would be there for us to help and provide anything we're missing. The cafe and literally the cool shop up the road are a 5 minute drive and 22 minute walk away. Thank you so much for having us Clare! We're so grateful and we had an amazing time.

Great spacious 1 bedroom apartment located on the bottom floor of owners home. Down a right of way with easy parking for our car. A 200 metre walk on a track to the waterfront. I sent a message to Hayley that the cleaner omitted to leave toilet rolls or dishwashing detergent, Hayley was awesome, quick to respond, apologised and dropped them off. Comfortable Queen size bed with nice pillows. There were some good bits and pieces for cooking in the cupboard which was useful, oil, Tomato sauce, paper towels, gladwrap. Howick was a lovely area to stay with a selection of restaurants and nice shops

Clean and comfortable. Spacious bathroom with washer and dryer which was a godsend. A small outdoor seating area was nice. Opposite the road from the beach. Devonport nearby is a lovely little town with great views and regular ferry's over to downtown Auckland. Easy regular bus service into town with bus stops close by. Parking close to entrance to it was easy to get our cases etc in and out.

We had a beautiful, peaceful stay here! Both the interior and surrounding area were gorgeous. The bus stop was quite close with easy access to the rest of the island, but we also enjoyed walking through the quiet residential area and getting a glimpse of what life is like on the island. Thank you for the lovely stay, wish we could have stayed longer than a night!
