I am so happy we chose to stay here!This sweet little place was clean,smelled good,and had all the things we needed for a weekend getaway. It was decorated cute and i appreciated the fall decorations too. Quiet and private but close enough to do all our excursions in Prarie du Chien,Marquette and Mcgregor.Genna was very communicative and I cannot wait to come back and stay again in the future.Weather was perfect and it was a great,relaxing,and memorable stay!

The is is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here, my son says it’s a “tradition”. The space was great to hangout with older kids, everyone has space yet we’re all still together. A perfect home base for exploring as well.

Mandi’s place was ideal for a peaceful, quiet get away. We loved sitting on their deck watching the eagles, pelicans and barges go by. There were various places to hike nearby as much or as little as we wanted. We chose Effigy Mound National Monument one day and Pikes Peak State Park the other and both were well worth the time spent. We went to the pub - restaurant literally across the street for a lunch and sat on their deck enjoying the river scenes. The kitchen was equipped with anything we needed for meals at t home. The bed was comfy and we slept great! We reserved this gem again before leaving!

Pretty spot 20 minutes from several parks with hiking along the Mississippi. Comfortable for two tall adults. We knew the shower would be small and managed ok. The last bit of road in was a little challenging for our low clearance car but once we were their it was a lovely place to relax both in the living room and by the fire pit.

As the person who always beelines for the binder of local information and reads it cover to cover when staying at an Airbnb, this place was a dream! I learned so much about the area from Anita’s historical writing and plethora of brochures. I will definitely be back thanks to Anita’s hospitality and the cozy feel of the place. The perfect location to explore nearby parks with great bluff views and visit all the local small businesses!

Nikki's cottage was perfect for our weekend! Conveniently located near downtown and accessible to everything. Nikki was very responsive with questions and even recommended a few events happening in town while we were there! Would 10/10 recommend and come back again!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway in this peaceful cabin and loved that our dog could join us!

This cabin was just as described. So cute and had everything that was needed. Perfect spot right on the water to watch the barge activity during the day as well as the fire pit at night. The free fire wood was a plus! This adorable place is located very close to many attractions to sight see, hike, shop, as well as having many bars/restaurants to choose from. This weekend was best for enjoying the beautiful fall colors. Nikki was the perfect host. Great communication. Easy instructions. I needed to contact her with one question and she responded immediately. She was helpful, supportive, and kind. So happy I discovered this little gem. I hope to return one day!

Dawn went above any beyond to make my stay comfortable. We were in town for a celebration of life service and she was very caring and helpful. The unit is charming, comfortable and stocked with anything you might need!
