This was hands down the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in during my 8 years of using the platform. The house is everything I’d imagine in a dream home—spacious, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. With three bedrooms upstairs, one in the basement, and three full bathrooms, it comfortably fit our group of five teenagers, my husband, me, and our German shepherd. Having three bathrooms was a total game-changer. The living spaces were cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the peaceful setting was perfect for recharging. We stayed during Dreamville Festival, and even though it was a 30-minute drive to Raleigh, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The home, the setting—everything was perfect. We especially loved the outdoor swings. We stayed for three nights but could’ve stayed longer. The pictures don’t do this home justice—it’s even better in person. If you’re thinking of booking, do it. Perfection at its finest—you won’t regret it! ♥️

Absolutely perfect spot. If you are looking for a lowkey vibe with plenty of space, this is the choice for you. Will most definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Chelston's Homestead is comfortable and inviting. it was ideal for our multi-generational gathering. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, it was walking distance to great restaurants and the event venue we were there for. the family talked about coming back another time, staying there and going to some of the other attractions nearby. Absolutely ideal host!

The house was very clean and nice! Clean towels and beds were comfortable. Lots of blanks and pillows as well! The host was great accommodating my group and they allowed us to have a later checkout time which we really appreciated. Checkout and checking in was super easy and convenient. Highly recommend this Airbnb!!

I highly recommend staying here! It’s a clean, well-decorated home that has great amenities in a peaceful neighborhood. We had a great “staycation” and would definitely stay again. Umer and Sehar are great hosts and made the house feel like home.

Lowel was an incredible host with a beautiful home right on the lake. He was quick and responsive with any of our requests, needs, and questions. Would definitely reserve again if we make it back to the beautiful North Carolina!

Loved it here, great for family vacations! They were missing a few things when we arrived and GLADLY replaced them after messaging them and communicating with them! They were very responsive and timely. Our flight in was early and we had to enter the airbnb early as well as our flight home being later, so we had to pay a pretty pricey fee to get in early and stay later. Other than that, the price for the weekend was reasonable! Spacious and had a great kitchen. Enough room to fit 8 ppl comfortably, and still feel like you have your own space lol. Fire pit in the back was lots of fun! We appreciate everything they did to make it a great experience.

The location, the communication from the host and the peace and quiet at this Airbnb location are a few of my biggest takeaways during my holiday stay here. Unfortunately, I still had to work through the holiday however, mohmeets Airbnb allowed me to have a separate working space to complete my work. Whenever I come back in town, I will definitely be booking here again.

We were in town for our college reunion and the house was perfect! Plenty of space, great location and so well appointed. It had everything we needed and then some! I would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in Durham near downtown!

I cannot say enough about Paulina’s beautiful rental. I am so happy I found this gem. I hope I am given the opportunity to stay again for my next trip to Durham in 6 months. The apartment is IMMACULATE. From corner to corner, top to bottom, absolutely spotless. Impeccably decorated. Even the house plants are lush and well cared for! I appreciated the attention to detail. The bed is a comfy memory foam king mattress with cotton bedding and great pillows. Even the bathroom had a spa feeling with all the extra touches, including my favorite body wash which fills the space with such a pleasing scent. I am not exaggerating when I say, this is my favorite rental experience ever. I have stayed in many across the country and overseas. You will have everything you need for a short or extended stay. This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

My family and I love this place. This was our second time booking. The scenery and privacy is amazing. Perfect location for us to stay close to family who live in the area. We will 100% be visiting again. Harriette makes everything simple for check-in and check-out. Highly recommended. Get the real feel of peace and tranquility in a cozy cabin while only being minutes from town. You will not be disappointed.

This cabin is bright and cozy, the environs idyllic, and Daniel was extremely responsive and went the extra mile checking in on us when snow was predicted before our stay and making sure the steps were de-iced and the boot tray was handy. very comfortable and convenient!

Pristine new log cabin is spacious and well appointed. We spent so much time on the amazing covered porch overlooking the private pond! No one in sight, perfect for renewal and relaxation. Kitchen and bathrooms are great- clean and perfect! We enjoyed watching the funny antics of the chickens. Landscaping was bursting with Spring color when we were there in April. Will hope to return in the future!

Our stay here was the highlight of our entire trip. We loved the feeling of the farm. My son caught his first fish! We enjoyed taking the cart all over. Our stay there was the perfect breath of fresh air. My kiddos loved it! Highly recommed. Incredible hosts.
