We had a quick night of sleep at Richard’s while traveling. It was extremely quiet, with beautiful country surroundings. The place was spotless. It would probably be a great area for a romantic getaway. As shown in photos!

Great place with a stunning view. Very peaceful and lots to do. I rented cabin for end of year 2024-25 with my family and had a great time! We walked to the nearby creek & used the firepit, swings & did a lil exploring in the area. Wei was a great host, very attentive & communicative. I highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay! Chad was very helpful and we felt right at home. Everything was close by and we were given lots of ideas of where to eat and what to do. Beautiful home and lots of help if we had a question. We would love to return!

Very peaceful little place, screened porch overlooking water was great to enjoy every morning and evening. Had basic necessities, and host was very responsive and proactive. Hiking trails across the house were convenient for walks, since we wanted to have peaceful spring break in nature away from city and noise. Kids enjoyed fishing in the river.

We had the best time at the cabin Attitude Adjustment. It was everything I had hoped for and more! The view was stunning, the cabin was relaxing and had everything we needed, Linda thought of everything to make sure your stay was comfortable and cozy. We will definitely go back and our dogs loved it too.

Lordy, we loved this place. AMAZING windows and kitchen, incredible hosts who were kind and super-responsive, wood burning stove was a delight. We didn't turn the TV on for 3 days and didn't care a bit! Can't wait to be back in the summer!

Wonderful stay! Communication was great, check-in was easy and an easy drive to VT campus.

This was such a peaceful and relaxing place to spend a few days. Kathryn was very responsive and helpful with directions and suggestions of things to do in the area. The place was very comfortable and we had a wonderful time visiting Floyd and the surrounding area.

We arrived at the mill having driven out from Asheville the weekend of the hurricane. Adam & Marcie could not have been more helpful and sympathetic. We only wished we had booked to stay for longer as we needed time to decompress after our experience, however it really was the right place to be. Thank you very much

This place was absolutely perfect. Owner responded very quickly and made the stay stress free. I could not have asked for anything better than this location.

We had a lovely stay - the apartment is spacious and has everything you could need and the view out of the patio is gorgeous. Pam and Joe were so friendly and our toddler loved getting to meet their sweet dog. It was a peaceful place to retreat to while visiting VT for a football game.

Loved staying here for a long weekend, would definitely recommend and will be coming back

This location was perfect for a weekend visit with our Hokie. We walked easily to/from downtown for the events we attended. Accommodations were quaint and clean, as described. Will definitely book again!

We had a great experience! The location was fantastic, and the house itself was extremely cozy and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, and we really appreciated how everything is thoughtfully prepared to accommodate pets. The hosts were very responsive and attentive, making the entire process seamless. could not have asked for better hosts. we had some issues with the water and they were very quick to come check it out even though it was working by the time he got there , extremely sweet people. hope to stay again soon!

Always a great stay at Teena’s cabins

Pleasantly surprised by the cabin. We appreciated the scenic location, the cleanliness of the place, and the ease to get there along with the closeness to many trails and needs.

The cabin was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable! Two of the most important things to us. Beautiful views , too!

The cabin is aptly named—it is right by the New River. I suspect in summer, you’d be lucky to get this place, since it’d be excellent for river access. We got to chill out in mid-April, thanks both to cold weather & the peaceful, scenic surroundings. The cabin is charming & comfortable & just as pictured. We slept delightfully well in the queen beds. The kitchen has a wealth of dishes, cookware, utensils, etc., plus some spices & fridge items on hand. The dining area looks out on the mountains. Although we didn’t use them much because of the cold, there’s a front & a side porch with nice views. Everything was spotlessly clean, & Danielle was a gracious & responsive host. Note: there is no WiFi, but we managed using our phones as hot spots. Cell service was generally okay. The town of Independence is only about 10 minutes away, & it has a marvelous grocery store. We enjoyed delicious pizza at Ciro’s, & we’d recommend Powerhouse Falls for an outdoor adventure.

Place was great. Zoe, the outdoor cat was adorable and friendly. Just make sure if you are following your gps you look for the sign by the road!

The mountain view is better than in the photos. I liked the combo of residential with a cabin feel. So many positives about the home, would not hesitate to recommend and would have extended because I enjoyed it so much 🙂
