Storme was an excellent hostess and The Duchess was a stunning home to stay in for our special event. We especially enjoyed walking around the many local parks. It's such a lush, green area. The well stocked herbs and spices was a thoughtful touch for our home cooking. We highly recommend The Duchess.

This place is lovely. Aircon in all the bedrooms would be better, this is Queensland after all. Not great for elderly though as there's lots of stairs. Kitchen was missing a few items, and the items that were there were just all over the place in all different cupboards and drawers. Lovely bottle of champagne and strawberries, but no gladwrap or tupperware. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A fantastic stay with everything we could have wanted and better … Tammy was extremely lovely and so helpful, from local recommendations to getting us settled quickly and efficiently. House and host so friendly and above & beyond expectations. We stayed for swimming nationals and it was the perfect place to rest and recharge between events, also really close to Brisbane Aquatic Centre … could not recommend highly enough, will definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to get availability!!! Jen's place was so clean and spacious and was so much bigger than expected. The pool was inviting and the back deck area is a great place to hang out. Very impressed with how well equipped the kitchen is. And the two eating areas came in handy as we are a group of crafters so we could leave our projects out and still had a table to sit at for meals. Bedrooms are beautifully decorated and beds are extremely comfortable. Probably the only negative is that the air conditioners do struggle to cool the main living spaces, due to their size and high ceilings. And not all spaces are air conditioned and this is a bit hard in February when it is so hot and humid. Not enough to put us off wanting to stay there again though. Great hostess and great place.

I will recommend for all people who need greater place to stay in heritage park to book this house, well organised, good furnitures and a speedy wifi I can’t wait to come back here

When my daughter’s rowing regatta was relocated from Rockhampton to Wyaralong dam we decided to make a girls weekend out of it anyway and chose to stay Lumiere Farmhouse. We had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed some of the local experiences, we visited the camel farm, local markets and also experienced rodeo and dirt bike motocross all in the same day. However, the highlight of the trip was our stay at Lumiere. The beautifully styled home has an incredible outlook across the rear deck from the daybed near the kitchen, the comfy lounges, the beautiful beds and linen. The home is larger than you expect with space to come together but also room to retreat, read and enjoy the peace and quiet. Having a fully equipped kitchen was brilliant. We loved the coffee machine; so easy!! We all would love to visit again. Thank you!!

Nice comfortable stay and a few items in the fridge for us was a nice touch. A bit of noise in the early morning but otherwise a quiet area.

If we could give this Airbnb 6 stars, we would. Nestled in a very peaceful part of Brisbane and right near Lone Pine, Barry and Lynn provide one of the nicest stays you could hope for. As hosts, they are both very friendly and helpful and ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We found it to be very well stocked with anything you could possibly need, even more than our own home! I'd you're planning to be in or near this area, we cannot recommend Barry & Lynn's place any more.

Such a great spot and place to stay. Everything you need to wind down and close to everything. The place was immaculate and beds are super comfortable.

We had a great stay! We stayed for 6 weeks while we sold our house and bought another. Tracey kindly let our pets stay after a few reasonable questions and responded very quickly to any queries/comments we had. For example, we mentioned that a few of the clothesline ropes had broken and the whole rope was fixed in days. This location and home was perfect for our needs as a short term home where the whole family (2A, 2C and 2 pets) could feel at home during what was quite a stressful period. It was as also very convenient for travel to schools and the city during peak hours. The desk got an absolute workout with gamers and people working from home and internet was never an issue. If you have a dog, there are a couple of nice dog parks close by to wander too, to get the energy out. We stayed in summer and the Aircon was much appreciated by the British members of the family. It is on the cosy side but a cute place and great access. Thanks for a great stay Tracey!

Absolutely amazing to be right on the water, watching the tide come in & go out, seeing boats & yachts passing by. Peaceful, bushy surrounds blissfully listening to bird life. Clean & comfortable furnishings, & has everything needed (& more) in the kitchen & other living areas both inside & out. Peter & Raisa were communicative, helpful, responsive & lovely hosts. It was great to get out & explore the island with lots of hidden gems, fishing spots, & friendly locals. Catching mud crabs was a bonus with the supplied crab pots. Yum! Great house & location, would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

We needed a place that close for a group of us to head back to after a concert. I chose it because of it's size, and it was exactly what we needed to hold 5 adults. Would use this place again for the same reason if I needed to.

We had a business exhibition in nearby Banyo, and need a place for thew team to stay during the event. The house was extremyl spaciouis and roomy, and allowed for reasonable privacy for our team members. Great large space house for people in need of a lot of it.

We’ve had the pleasure of staying in Verena and Michael’s place 3 times. I would like to mention that this place Doesn’t have blankets on beds(sheets pillow cases only) unless paid extra for which is another added cost unfortunately. Apart from that this place has everything you need. Very clean and responsive hosts.

A retro beach shack delight! Julie’s place was nicely situated on a quiet street in amity. Not far from cafe, beach, restaurants and playgrounds! We really enjoyed having family time at her home but I do not recommend toddlers or ages 1-4, as there are many beautiful things to break around and no children’s toys or books. Absolutely perfect for 10+. Also- I should have checked with Julie before arriving on the island for certain essentials for cooking like oil and baking tray but these items seemed to be normal available to her and just missing. She had lots of little items of appreciation like tea towels and soaps and ice cubes! Thanks Julie for a great holiday even after the cyclone!

Andre greeted us as we checked in and was very friendly. Chatted for a while making us accustomed to the house and also gave great recommendations on cafes and restaurants. The house was perfect for our family of 4 young kids with a PS3: 1 large private master bedroom with separate his/her wardrobe and a large bathroom; 3 bedrooms for the kids; even an extra "guest room" downstairs. The dining area and kitchen was great as was the outdoor area with pool which we used a few times. Close to a shopping area that had Woolworths, Harvey Norman, Rebel Sport etc and also some great running/biking treks. Overall a great house.

Kate was a fantastic host! We booked her home for a few employees who were working nearby. Due to changes happening on site, we had to make amendments to our booking. Kate was so understanding and helped us massively with changing the dates around for us. She couldn't have been more accommodating!! The employees were happy and had no complaints during their stay. We would definitely book again if back in the area. Highly recommend. Thanks again Kate! :)

Jacks place was the perfect setting for our creative family. The eclectic choices in decor and art made us feel right at home. With a wonderful outdoor entertainment area, it truly felt like a villa pool. Easy to walk to quaint cafes and shops or head into the city by train. We would definitely stay here again. 💚 Samantha the artist

Great spot, well presented and suited for our needs

Plenty of space to cater for large family gathering. Perfect for our Christmas get together. Generous bedrooms. Excellent location - 4 min drive to large mall and easy to get onto motorway to get to all the fun attractions. Really appreciate the nice gesture by the Host, Vicki to buy our kids presents for Christmas. Thank you again! Highly recommend!

House is cosy, comfortable and very clean. Good sized, peaceful backyard and balcony enjoyed by our dog. Very central location well serviced with nearby shops. Carolyn is a joy to communicate with. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.
