Beautiful and immaculate house with everything you need and more. The location couldn’t be better - literally a minute’s walk from the seafront with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Pearl and Nathan were so helpful and responsive- they gave us lots of brilliant recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We had three generations staying, including teenagers, and everyone had a fantastic time. We’re already talking about when we can stay there again! A real gem!

Very cosy and beautiful house and garden. We enjoyed the daylight living area of the house the most. Looking out into the garden and watching the squirrels visit from time to time. Place is really well maintained, spotlessly clean and the bed is super comfy!!

A great home away from home while we are doing renovations. Great space for living and working from home. Easy commute into town. Dog friendly with brilliant walks nearby. A peaceful neighbourhood. Victoria is a great host.

Booked the house for 2 young families and grandparents and the house was absolutely perfect for this. Living kitchen area had everything you need and plenty big enough for 9 of us to mingle. The bedrooms had plenty of space for kids to sleep in their own spaces. The boys loved the tipi bed and enjoyed the books provided before bedtime. Master bedroom at the top comfortably housed a baby and a 4 year old. The hosts were great and made sure we had everything we needed prior to our arrival so didn’t need to get hold of them during our stay as everything was perfect. The house was well placed for us with a good pub 2 houses down one side and another just a 5 min walk the other. The main village is a simple 5-10 min walk away. House having its own Netflix/general TV accounts as well as an Xbox with games if you wanted as well was a nice touch. We came with 2 dogs who were clearly completely comfortable during our stay, relaxing after long walks on the gorge. Great stay, fully recommend!

We were looking for a place to stay away from central Bristol, and this was a perfect stay for us. Nice neighbourhood with shops, restaurants, and bars. Walkable to the city centre and everything we needed. A cool and quirky modern design with every detail well thought out and designed.

The house was spacious with ample downstairs living areas and a large fully fitted kitchen. The two sets of double doors opening onto the beautiful terrace were a favourite feature and the views across the rolling hills towards Bath were a wonderful sight. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of storage. Andrew was a brilliant host and nothing was too much trouble. He responded quickly to messages and was able to give us a recommendation for a great Indian takeaway, as well as the numbers of local taxi firms. The village of Lower Swainswick is within walking distance if you're relatively fit (it's hilly!) and there you will find a Co-Op, a butchers, a couple of pubs and a few other shops. For us, visits into Bath were by taxi or car and took about 10 minutes. Thank you to Andrew and Emily, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very at home.

An absolutely wonderful retreat from the city centre despite being less than 10 minutes walk from the station. Beautifully decorated, well appointed, cosy yet classy interiors, super spacious living room and kitchen/dining space, lovely neighbourhood (super private and quiet!), superb views of Bath, light and airy, cosy beds, lovely showers and all in all very impressive. The kind of place that you want to spend time in even if you’re looking to explore the city, which is quite an achievement. As a surprise for one of our guests, they were super happy. Very responsive and accommodating hosts (allowed us to leave luggage in the property until 1:30pm despite check out being at 10:30am). 3 bathrooms (including 2 en suite) which is super helpful when you have 4 guests — no need to fight for your turn! The space is clearly very well thought out — very logical but also super stylish. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bath and looking for a special place to stay. Bravo!

Tony's place was perfect for my weeks stay in the area. Very good host and seem very friendly. So far it's been the best Airbnb I've used. Will most definitely stay again when in the area. thanks for a perfect little house on the corner

Looked even better in person than on the pictures provided. Quiet, secluded with all amenities and large hot tub with a short journey into the city centre but also pubs within the area. easy check in and out, would use again.

We had a really great time. The house and grounds were lovely and big enough for 14 people and 3 dogs. The dinning room had a wonderfully big table so we could all sit and eat together. The hot tub and swimming pool were a big hit with everyone. Rob was very helpful and answered all questions quickly, would stay there again.

A pleasant stay in HB. The pool's a nice touch & the fact that room had a shower was brilliant. The owner understood that dogs roam & didn't seem to mind them playing out of their assigned area, she also found us a dog sitter which was helpful. We cleaned up our own & others dog mess which means others don't which is a shame. The roads leading to the house are typical country tracks, with lots of people driving too fast along them, they are also very uneven. Jacqui greeted us on arrival & messaged regularly about the pool and weather which was kind. I personally found the check-in style a little condescending probably just me. Also did hang a pair of jeans on a fence for 20mins which was a no-no, we received a message about not doing this and another random one telling us to be sure we had dogs with us or a sitter which unnecessary as they were both exceptionally behaved and always with one of us. Lots of rules to read and sign! Overall a nice house. Recommended already.

We stayed at Emma's house for a family weekend, it was perfect. The kids loved the pool, the tennis court was really fun, the house was spacious and beautiful. Emma was really helpful. the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fabulous. Thanks so much for a perfect weekend.

We had the best stay at Uplands. The house was clean, the garden was huge and in an ideal location for good pubs/food, walks and activities for kids. The hosts responded quickly and were friendly. Will definitely go back.

Bungalow spotless. Really enjoyed our stay. Good location for the airport and is direct on the flight path so you can hear and see planes taking off. House didn’t bother us at all. Will definitely stay again thank you.

Ben is an amazing host - responsive and gave good recommendations for the local area. The property is situated in a stunning, quaint town but is close enough to make trips to both Bristol and Bath. The property itself is gorgeous and exactly how described. I would definitely recommend the property to friends and family 😊

We needed a place to stay last minute as having renovations in our home. The flexibility and response to this was great. The house was comfortable, warm and clean. Amos and Don were responsive in their communication. We felt at home and enjoyed our stay. 👍🏻

I booked Sharon’s place for my fiancés birthday & it was lovely! Such a peaceful space to relax in, beautiful surroundings & spacious too! I asked Sharon about birthday decorations and she was more than happy to help, she left out balloons, banners & left some goodies for us too! We had a wonderful stay at Mandy’s place! Beautifully decorated, fabulous views of the lake and extremely clean and well organised. The property is spacious and had everything we needed for our trip. Mandy provided us with lots of great recommendations including the New Inn which we visited numerous times for its excellent food and lovely views! Mandy was a very responsive host and made sure we felt welcome! Would happily return and definitely recommend for a trip to the Mendip Hills!

I loved my weekend and Linda and Ed’s place — I wanted a quiet space for inspiration in idyllic surroundings and that’s exactly what I had. The coastal path runs along the bottom of their garden and beyond that is the wild beauty of the rugged coast and massive Severn estuary. The cabin is quite rudimentary - as advertised - and was just perfect (the wine and biscuits were very welcome too!)
