This Airbnb is perfect for a couples ski getaway in the winter. The close proximity to Whiteface Mountain is convenient, and the hot tub is great for recovery after a long day of skiing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a couples ski trip.

The room was bigger than I expected and was very comfortable to spend time in after outdoor activities. The kitchen in particular was equipped with everything you need for cooking, so there was no problem.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

We had three very nice nights! The apartment was bigger than we anticipated and very well appointed. It’s right on a busy corner, so we heard the snowplows during the night (lots of snow!!), but was otherwise peaceful with the sound of the river. Joe was very flexible with dates when we had to shift because of weather. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

We have been there before and really like the setting and the accommodations. The apartment is nicely furnished and Shir has thought of all the essentials. We live in the country too and really value the backwoods setting. It is close to hiking and cross country ski opportunities. There is also a wonderful screened-in porch, though our visits in late October and late February have not been good times to enjoy it. There was also a barred owl around one morning and we were able to get some pictures. It was a perfect place to get away for a few days.

Great “home away from home” for a visit. I’m no longer used to freezing weather and appreciate that it was warm when I arrived and not drafty, and the bed and couch had pleasant blankets.

I am a professional travel RN I enjoyed the location very safe private no issues from the host. Bette is an excellent host. Immediately met me upon arrival. Made me feel at ease. I would stay again and recommend our place for long-term stays. I plan on telling other nurses at the local hospital, I work at about this great venue. She made me feel very welcome.

Our stay was great. My husband, his cousin from Canada and me decided a year ago to meet together for the solar eclipse. So we booked Jeffery’s place. There were a few changes along the way, but Jeffrey kept communications open and all worked out well. The unit we stayed was a bit different than the original but had a similar set up. We were very comfortable there and very clean. It was close to great restaurants and all of the activities we were attending. The only small issue was parking. Even though Jeffrey recommended that all be respectful, one car took up 2 spots. There were spots along the side but it made for tricky maneuvering. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Staying at LeeAnne’s place was like staying with family. The space was very comfortable and spacious, with lots of room for my partner and I to spread out. The front screened in porch with the views of the valley and Ausable River were a perfect place to have our morning coffee. But the place was extra special because of LeeAnne herself. She was probably the most gracious and accommodating Airbnb host I’ve ever encountered in my many years of using the platform. LeeAnne was extremely flexible and accommodating with our needs and provided us with whatever household items we asked for to make our stay more comfortable, including a window air conditioning unit she put in our bedroom on one particular warm summer evening. Her hospitality and warmth reminded me of my childhood stays with loved aunts and cousins. If you’re looking for a peaceful place for some rest and relaxation, this is it!

Overall great and peaceful stay. Pretty close to white face and lake placid. Perfect space for 2-3 people. Owner is responsive and friendly. One thing to note is that the owner does not mention in the listing that he lives in the same house with you. So if you’re looking for complete privacy then this might not be the best option for you. Other than that, no complaints at all and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in that area!

Forrest & Gisselle’s apartment is amazing. It is beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. I felt like I was at home, especially having a Nespresso machine available. Off-street parking was nice to have. I loved the fact that there are great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. And even though the apartment is located in downtown Plattsburgh, it was very quiet. Forrest & Giselle were very responsive to my questions. Also, they gave very clear instructions. I will definitely stay here again.

The home was clean, easy to find, and in a beautiful location. The beds were comfortable and the décor was very nice. It was honestly one of the most restful nights of sleep I've had in a while! It's not a long-term stay type of place, but a great place as a home base for a night or two.

Stayed for a few days with my family and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end! The house was absolutely spotless, the host & family were very friendly and helpful. We loved it-definitely recommend! And will most certainly try to come back again! Thank you again you guys! We had a great time!!

Blown away by Jon his beautiful kids and of course the stay, my family and I chose to spend our holiday weekend here and it was incredible on all fronts. The views from the unit were absolutely jaw dropping - plenty to do and plenty to do At home if you chose to stay in - the stay felt like home away from home , only an even better version. To make things even better My dogs had a blast too!! Thank you so much for having us
