I wish I could rate this home 6 stars. It is beautiful, peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The two bedrooms are great and very comfortable, and they actually have anything you might need in terms of toiletries. Corey was super responsive and helpful, he quickly answered the few questions that I had. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a small getaway.

The house and location is the perfect place to unplug and unwind… The place was spotless! Great amenities and very thoughtful welcome gift!!! The pool was well maintained and spotless as well. Sara was a gracious and helpful host, always responded within minutes and was helpful and professional. If your staying in the area and looking for that out of the way private place with plenty of space and pool, deck and forgot to mention awesome grill do not hesitate to book with Sara.

My family’s stay at Isle la motte was absolutely magical! We love everything about it: the house was great, just as described. The lake was gorgeous and clear. We paddleboated and kayaked and swam, rose bikes, explored the island, went on long walks, and of course went to hike and explore surrounding islands and mainland. Jim - the owner - lives next door and is immensely helpful with everything. He and his wife are elderly so please take that into account. He has fabulous stories though - mg kids and I loved hearing them! If life allows, we will definitely be back!

Our family spent a fabulous week at Jewel of the Isle. The pictures don't do the view justice! It's amazing from every single room at all angles! We were a multi-generational group ranging from 19 to 93 years old and the house was perfect for all of us. Please note though, that there are stairs (with sturdy railings) in the house if that's a mobility issue for you. The "kids" loved the kayaks, stand up paddle boards and the fishing poles. Even though it was early in the season, the herb garden was such a nice touch and we were able to use a few clippings for salads. The house was spotless and Mitch was a very responsive host to all of our questions. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Patti was always very responsive. Her beautiful home had everything! Comfortable beds, lots of bath and beach towels. Kitchen fully stocked. Everything from bug spray to sunscreen. You name it she had it! We had a blast at the Clinton County Fair, Lake Placid and charted a fish boat for the day. Everything we wanted 😀. Not many restaurants around, but that’s ok. The pictures online don’t do this home justice. We will be back!!! The Celli Family -

Charles was a very good host. The cleaning crew did not show up, but we were notified in advance and it was cleaned personally by his son. The vacuum didn’t work so the floors weren’t clean, but other than that it was a great stay! This location is so charming and is close enough to Burlington to go over for the day/night to explore!

James and Hannah were great through out. Very responsive, accommodating. We wanted to watch a game and the personally made sure the TVs are set up with the apps we needed, before we arrived, allowed us some extra time as well as much as they could. Our group really enjoyed the stay, lots of beds for large groups to sleep, and games, multiple leavings areas to hang out.

Wonderful host wonderful home. We cant wait to return!

I recently had my first experience using Airbnb for a special Valentine’s Day surprise, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The space was absolutely adorable—cozy, inviting, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. From a smart TV with all the streaming apps to fun card games and every essential amenity, the attention to detail made our stay so enjoyable. My girlfriend absolutely loved it, and it created the perfect setting for a memorable night. What truly set this experience apart was the incredible host. Not only did they provide quick and thorough communication from start to finish, but they also went above and beyond when I accidentally locked myself out of the property. They arrived promptly to assist me, saving the day without any hassle. On top of that, when I unexpectedly fell ill and needed to extend my stay, they were extremely accommodating and made the process seamless. My family and I had a wonderful time in Paul's lake house ! It was perfect for us and had everythingwe needed!! Even board games and toys for the kis to use outside! The lake, the small beach next to it, the dock, the view, the many stars in the sky.... perfect!!! Just to change things up a bit, we went twice to the public beach (5 minutes car ride from the lakehouse) it is very clean and has an amazing playground ! Plattsburgh, with it's stores and restaurants is a 30 minutes drive away! We really enjoyed our stay at Paul's lake house !

Such a gorgeous setting. Amazing house right on the lake. The house is so clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. John even put up a Christmas tree for us. John made sure that we had the cookware needed for making beautiful Christmas meals and baking cookies. We had some challenges with the heat at first, but John was incredibly responsive, and he is definitely a superhost. We look forward to staying at his place when we return to the area. The house and John and the whole experience deserve 5 stars! Thank you John!

Dorsey’s house is a gem. Fully equipped, clean and private, and with the most amazing views of the lake Champlain. Unfortunately we were there during the hurricane Betty and we couldn’t use the private beach as much as we would like to. We did swim once, and the water was nice and with a lot of sand.

Great location for skiing at Mount Van Hoevenberg. House was as pictured and described. Bedrooms were cozy. We were required to shovel significant snow due to a large storm before we came but Norman communicated that beforehand.

The place exceeded our expectations! It was so cozy and had everything we needed for our weekend trip. Pamela was very friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond. When it snowed, she came to snowblow the driveway for us, which we really appreciated! The home was in a quiet and easy to navigate neighborhood. The lake view was pretty.

This place was perfect spot to host a ski trip and surprise birthday getaway! The home was more than spacious and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We managed to finish all the puzzles that were left for guests. 10/10 would stay again.

Karen’s place was the perfect home base for exploring Plattsburgh and taking a college tour. Karen was helpful and accommodating!

Staying at Simeon’s place was a great choice for a larger group trip. Clean home, plenty of sleeping space, and a cute main room to hang out in. It was a nice experience, and Simeon was always responsive. Thanks for the great stay!
